There are many ways to measure, for example for a 16x19 you will need 9 lengths of racket for the mains and 8 for the crosses.. that's an example, what you can do make it faster is to take those lengths ans see to what they correspond when you take it and see how many arms lengths do you get, in.my case 3.5 arm lengths for the mains and a little bit less for the crosses. Obviously things will change for an 18x20😉
