Thanks for the video. The recommendation appears to be to skip 7 and 9 for all of the Aero models, but you skip 8 here - is there a reason? (Is it to do with the ATW pattern?). (Edit - Actually the Aero Rafa I'm looking at has definitely a closer gap between 6 and 7 than in this video, they must be different models).
Herb, thank you for these videos I do appreciate them. How do you keep track of the string info for each racket since you do so many? Like the person;s name, String type, tension for mains, crosses etc?
I have an excel spreadsheet. One tab is an invoice with drip downs for names, products, prices, etc. One tab contains all of the data for the drop downs. Products, prices, racquets, strings, players with phone and emails. Then I have a tab for every player with drop downs. Each player tab I can drop down name, racquet, and string. Then I fill out date, tensions, and any notes needed. All pretty simple actually.
Is there away to string one piece without having to string a bottom cross right out the gate (I thought there was)? Stringing the mains then starting the crosses top down (head to throat).
I get this type of question all of the time, and to be honest, I do not know how much string it takes. 99% of the time, I can look at a racquet and pull what I need to within a few inches by arm span. Also, depending on the machine you are using could change the length you need to reach the tension head.
Herb, great job with the vids as usual, I was looking online and through your channel and haven't been able to find any clear answers to traveling with the full baiardo version. Have you had any experience? Any advvice is welcome. Thank you
depends on what you mean by traveling with it. You are not going to throw it on a plane. You would have to break it down into its original boxes and would cost a few hundred dollars to ship. I have taken mine apart several times and loaded it into my car to go to tournament sites. I have to separate the top from the base and move it around on a flat cart. The top has to weigh close to 80 pounds.
Good video. Thanks man.
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. Learned a lot! Can you maybe show how to string a Pure Aero VS or a Pure Aero 98? Thanks
If I ever get one in to string

Thank you for your video. How many cm of string used for Pure Aeero racket stringing? Have a nice day

For this racket, do you prefer a 2 or one piece? I’m considering atw
@dg903 I prefer 2 piece on every racquet

@@HerbBaird That makes sense. I will try that this weekend. Appreciate it

I believe so
Hello what is the string u use ?
Thos is Luxilon 4g
hello Herb, is there a scientific reason behind stringing racquets with butt side up?
Scientific reason, no. The objective of stringing is to be as consistent as possible at all times.
Cool video but couldn't stand the breathing in the mic
still working on proper mike placement
