I really appreciate that you don't talk down to people who don't know how to do these things and encourage them to keep using guides if they need them. I'm relatively new to PC gaming and I don't know very much about it in general outside of the basics. Some people are so hostile if you aren't a tech wizard.

Managers rule! They let you know if there are any updates for your preferred mods. Otherwise, you'll have to keep checking the mod page daily to see if there's an update. This being said, this has to be THE best manual installation tutorial ever made.
I'm the official channel for mod organizer 2, a highly informed vortex tutorial creator and I have nothing against other managers (except nexus mod manager due to how it uninstalls asset files..... I'm well aware of the positives 😉 . Its good to have choices..... appreciate ya :)
I always love coming to your channel whenever I have a question regarding modding of games. Always clear and thorough. Every time someone says "Are you sure this tutorial works?" I just reply with "I trust him"
I'm familiar enough with pc modding that i thought i wouldn't need this, but it is so clear and concise that it's gonna prevent any future confusion and doesn't make me impatient like most videos. I usually prefer reading instructions to watching videos, because videos take forever to get to the point and the cadence is all wrong so i can't focus. (Just ADHD things lol) You, however, scratch my brain perfectly and I'm going to save this video to send to my friends so i don't have to explain modding myself.

Now THIS is how you do a modding tutorial, easy to follow, clear instructions, lovely personality and some good examples and even how-to for deleting mods.
I'd like to take a moment to thank you for how clear and concise your videos are. I have always moded using a mod manager but because of your videos I decided to mod Valheim manually. So far it really has been quite easy. Install a mod, test it, quit and repeat. Delete the file if it doesn't work. Really awesome.
Glad to have helped :) Games where strict load order is important, like Bethesda games, benefit heavily from mod managers. Games like these I've always found manually modding faster and less headache

By far the best modding tutorial I've ever seen!! A slow, play by play tutorial with clear and concise instruction. While I initially clicked for modding Valheim, you could grow your channel by making these same videos for other games!!!!! So many people would gravitate to the soothing voice, along with a video that doesn't overwhelm the viewer, while also saving time. You've mastered a video technique very few hope to achieve!!

hey dude, this is the first time ive ever seen this channel, and ive modded a bunch of stuff over the years, ive started to step back from modding cause it can be such a damn headache, like STALKER GAMMA for example, u need a mod manager, u have to spend quite awhile getting the installed and just so much stuff, this has to be...the most simple and easy to understand mod tutorial ive almost ever seen. thanks for that dude, your instructions r easy to understand, you show step by step not only what to do, but u show your desktop as well which can really help someone know what their files and such should look like, this is a great video dude. great job xD

I love how easy modding Valheim is (and I've been doing it for a while), if you don't like it, you just delete it 😊 A shame it isn't as easy to mod Bethesda games, but then you'd probably never have started your channel and RUclips would've been poorer for it 😘
While this is true to some degree it generally does not take long for mod authors to update their mods to work with the current version of the game. Unfortunately this is just the way things are when a game is in active development such as Valheim. I'm not going to tell you that you should mod Valheim because your concerns are valid. However I will say that there are a lot of great mods out there for it, so I hope in the future when things are a bit more stable you will at least consider it as a possibility.

I've modded a lot of games. I've watched a lot of modding tutorials. This is by far the best one I've watched. Very clear and concise. You say things with fewer words and in a very easy to understand way. Also you have a very steady and clear speaking voice. Also great production value! If i were to nitpick though, I would say this could be more beginner friendly. You could mention what 7zip is or tell people how to find the game folder. Most people know that, but some beginners may not. Also time codes in the description could be very helpful. That said i wish you had a tutorial for every game haha. Would make modding way easier.

Entertaining, and man you made it so easy to understand, and I got the basics working as per your instructions and I was so stoked. ...and then, as you got into the more advanced mod installs, I quickly realized I don't want to do it manually like at all.
I always find your videos super helpful and I like how clear you speak. Not going to lie though, years ago when I used your videos to mod Skyrim, I always thought you were black. When I saw one of your videos recently where you had yourself in it, I was staring at your mouth to see if there was going to be a sync glitch, or you'd say later in the video you were using GamerPoets voiceover (I actually had to check to see who the video was posted by and realized it's actually you). Anyways, keep up the great work! You have a voice that's on par with Morgan Freeman. Easy to listen to and enjoyable.

Not at all what I was looking for (I wanna create my own mod and don't know how) but still a really good video. Especially the conciseness (concisity? idk lol) impressed me. I can't stand it when people upload tutorials and then go on and on blabbing about things that don't have anything to do with the tutorial. Not you though. I absolutely love your videos, including this one. If I may, there is a video that is greatly needed in the modding community, and that I would love to see you make. "Easy NPC" is a tool for selecting your npcs of choice from various npc overhaul mods and combining them into one new mod. The only problem is that all and any of the instructions online and on the mod page itself are totally confusing to understand and to follow. I, and many others, have attempted to use this mod, to no success. What is dearly needed is a very clear step-by-step video outlining how exactly to use the mod, and this is exactly the kind of video you excel at. For example, when the instructions say to download the mugshots of the npcs into a folder, it is not clear at all how to even do this simple thing. The mugshots get downloaded into folders within folders, and as they are I cannot get the Easy NPC tool to find them. I have tried removing some folders to make the files easier to find, but no matter what i do, the tool just cannot find them. Watching someone demonstrate clearly how to do even this simple step in a video would be of immense help. And that is just one of the many unclear steps with this tool. I hope you will take this idea into serious consideration, as knowing how to use "Easy NPC" to pick and choose your personal preference for how each npc is to look from the many overhaul mods on nexus is what so many of us long for!
I had a system a while back because I modded when I played solo. But would just remove the BepInEX folder and set on the desktop, when I played with someone else in their server. Made it easy to switch between the two.

Although you don't need one, r2modman is as simple as point and click. Thunderstore is also an option, but is the same as r2modman with ads. I generally try to avoid Nexus for this game as it's just less user-friendly.

Although you don't need one, r2modman is as simple as point and click. Thunderstore is also an option, but is the same as r2modman with ads. I generally try to avoid Nexus for this game as it's just less user-friendly.
