this is exciting! I just started making cocktails and I am working on an idea for a custom one for my girlfriend - her favorite color is purple - i def want to use this !
Your syrup looks amazing i wish more people knew about Ube and Taro. Two very underrated flavors that i use quite frequent. They also make a ube cream liqueur if you already didnt know. Its about $40 to $50 a bottle, so pretty pricy for a liqueur, but also one of the best tasting and award winning flavors so its worth it to at least get one for some special cocktails. Goes great with a taro milk tea smoothie with a oz of rum and 2 ozs of ube cream liqueur with blueberry lavander booze soacked boba pearls and ube sweet cream cheese foam. Its my take on a tea shop boba drink but a cocktail.
Well ube is definitely not from Japan! 😂 the word “ube” was derived from a Spanish word, “uvas” which means grape becoz of its color purple. Ube is a different species of taro naturally grown in the Philippines. It’s different from the taro grown in Thailand & other parts of Asia. Ube is naturally dark purple vs. regular taro from Thailand & Taiwan which more lavender. Ube is actually a root just like a carrot or potato and then turned into a yummy purple yam dessert. Ube ice cream from Trader Joe’s is delicious 🤤
Way too many thoughts in my head from this... First, the purple cocktails look great! I was so amused by you being impressed by your own product and the way you're selling it. Use more, add more! I'll was just at a store yesterday that had so many great bitters, cordials, and syrups. That bottle looks like it belongs on the shelves alongside all of that. I'll pick up a bottle and not because purple is my wife's favorite color...
I know, it’s pretty obnoxious to rave about my own products 😂 But, in my defense, I wouldn’t put them out into the world unless they were legit delicious! Just wait till I get to the macadamia orgeat…
Too much banter. Had to stop watching after 3 mins. Get to it or consolidate the amount of misc and pointless information. This video could be significantly reduced in runtime...

I've never heard about that ube cream liqueur! Maybe I'll see if I can find a bottle and do a review of it soon. Thanks for the tip!!
Great Talk, "Ube Cream Liqueur" is now being sold in several USA States, Coming to Europe, and sold in several Asia Pacific countries...
Never heard of Ube before (and I LIVED in Japan!), but I need it in my life now, if even to just make these drinks!
Yessssss!!!! It’s so good- by far my most popular flavor. Have yet to have someone try it and not love it!

That's because Ube originated from the Philippines, not Japan. We use it in desserts like halaya, ice cream, cake, we even have ube colada
