Love the content Turin! You are one of my favorite casters, not only for Warhammer, but overall. Not only are you great at the game, you have a fantastic way of explaining and highlighting the important action.
I know I have commented before about it, but for ze channel! The star dragon being a BBEG boss is just awesome. That they have balanced the game for pvp to this level where chaff is still great and elite units are also great is just an incredible feat with this much variety.
I think something like double moon dragon might be good. Their breath is more efficient at busting saurus blobs and they are still respectable in melee.
i was shocked to see a basilidon without something on it's back. like, no rev crystal? utterly shocking. next we'll see basilidons with the alter on their back!
I know you hate going after the Banana Slann, but I really feel like you had some opportunities to do so this game, and it might've been the play considering all the value he accrued (+ the healing on the kroxigor who kept them waaaaay too long in the game)
@@Dusk237 Slann have really high missile resistance though (40%), and shooting the kroxigor was important to soften them up and getting a few model down before the infantry engagement. But there was a moment in the battle where it over extented, and the fireborn were nearby, they would have destroyed in seconds, we saw that happens a few games ago, and the reavers could have blocked incoming renforcements Yes I agree this is very high micro, I certainly wouldn't have pulled it off, but I just wanted to point it out since Turin has a "never go after the slann" policy ^^
A thing about the Eagle's Claw bolt thrower. The single shot, while not strictly bad, is best against something like cavalry, not monstrous infantry. Also, the spread shot firing into infantry is usually the best "opening", as it overall deals far more damage(even the smaller shots seems to penetrate multiple models of infantry). A few salvoes into something like Saurus will bring them to half health, making them overall easier to deal with for your other elements. Once lines are joined, you can switch to single shots and go for big, easy to hit targets and start wearing them down.
Again an amazing map and we have some meme MOBA maps on auto-match, needed to switch to Land Battles as I was choke-pointed so many times by some cheap summon unit I had enough...
I agree, the bolt throwers may have paid for themselves but at the cost of less bodies on the floor, forced engages when you can't give ground and just the general delayed value on artillery. Might have been better with a monster/sea guard/sisters or maybe even phoenix guard as early reinforcement option. lizards just bound up the entire front in winning fights with the saurus/krox combo and had the upper hand in mobility with spear riders. Dragon feasted but the rest was just slightly lagging behind and on the backfoot for points

I expected Loremasters to be an autopick when domination mode was announced but have yet to see one set foot on a tournament. Anyone can shed some light as to why that is?
they're a bit expensive, the spell selection for pvp is... not wonderful, they have a decently high cost, and they lack in the mobility department. give them pony's and they might be seen, otherwise they're just goonable expensive things.
@@dagroth123 the spell selection they have is actually great, they're just too expensive and have too little HP. Melkoths + earth blood is a very good spell combo to have, it would be brought a lot if loremasters were like 150-200g cheaper.

As a primarily HE player these days I feel like the lizards are one of the hardest matchups. If they go hard on ancient salamanders then I get melted.
