This was the one of the better games I’ve seen in a while. Crazy good by both players, but what made the video skyrocket for me was the epic commentary by Turin. Especially at the end. You could hear the passion in his voice the pure energy and excitement. He made me sit on the edge of my seat and made this video truly worthy of the blessings of sigma!!
I would have loved to see a Noble on a horse... he could easily spank the Grail Reliques and then put some hurt on the various Grail units. Phoenix Guards were pretty macho though!
I love seeing Phoenix Guard being useful. Louen has been so lucky at 8:58 that the net didnt catch him before he could take off. GG to both players. What a sweaty game!
That was a pretty cool tech by Stingers to use the RoR Archers to put weakness to fire on the Grail Knights making the Sisters' and Fireborn's flaming attacks more effective.
I really appreciate the consistent video releases, and they're always top quality, Turin. Laying down in bed at night these videos are always what I put on to relax. Thank you for what you do!
One thing to remember is Empire is getting a DLC as part of the road map. So Karl's HP and other empire short falls should get boosted then if not before.
I know Brettonia is something of a dark lord but i love seeing hippogryph knights not only be used but be good. And Oml what a game, incredible, had me on the edge of my seat watching that capture point circle
I was expecting the Life Wizard to bring Dwellers. You can hide in the trees protecting that point. Those elvish spears made some massive blobs that some cheap peasants could be sacrificed for.

What a close game wow. I had a game once that was a 15 point difference and the whole game felt super intense. I love to see it in a high skill bracket.

I find it sad that we have so many maps now in the total tavern map packs, yet I feel like we always see the same ones on streams and tournaments... Apparently there's been a few that have been added recently, I'd gladly see what they look like !

18:25 Man Bretonnia had 3000 recourses at the end of the game and was sitting on 2000 for quite a wile, if they summoned more unites and distributed them to the right place they would of won.

Again. The grail knights arent an issue. I sincerely hope they keep their current mass. Its not like they dumpster other elite cav or anti-large monsters, nor are they overly resilient against shooting. Let them trample most inf, its not like they have any monstrous cav. Grails can be that.
True. Brettonnia only really has 2 ways to deal with phoenix guards. Those being trebuchets and magic. Apart from that, the physical resistance and high stats beat out foot squires (and all other infantry). Anti large and armor piercing, as well as charge resistance beats their cavalry (as they are supposed to). And brettonian archers lack the armor piercing to properly deal damage to the phoenix guard due to their high armor (plus physical resistance). Sure, volume of fire is a thing, but it is not exactly a counter.
Ughh.. I really want to get back into the game after a long break, but I don't like this new capture mode at all. Are all tournaments playing ctf these days or is the normal land battle mode also still played? Also: Always great to watch your videos, Turin 👍😁 It's what had gotten me into the multiplayer scene back in the days and it's getting me exited for the game again now
Domination is the standard competitive mode because land battle encourages degenerate play and forces them to add a lot of extra rules to prevent cheese and stalemates. There are still people playing, and running tournaments, though! I think Human Boy Yes Yes does them pretty frequently? Most competitive play is domination, though.

My main problem with domination mode is how unrealistic it feels for a battle (I know, I know, dinos riding on dinos, but still, battles should be battles 😅)

Turin, you missed the fact that the RoR elf archer unit was imbueing fire weakness to the grail knights for the fireborn charge. Very cool

I Love this type of high elf play, No dragon spam just solid infantry with cav support.

To be hones Leoun seems a bit overbuffed. Seeing him netted and focus fired by 2 sister units without actually taking damage just is crazy
he does have an item, that grants like 40 percent missle resist

My bretonnian heart bleeds to see how helpless they are against elite halberds but the high elf player is so good he realy deserved that win
