Another plasma lives again. I still prefer them to todays overbright and saturated 4K sets that are hopeless with lower resolutions. My Pioneer Kuro still looks great with Laserdiscs.
One thing I'd like to mention (not necessarily this model) is how important it is to be sure the ground screws are firmly tightened. Several models had an issue where there would be arcing and cause shorted transistors (IGBT's).
Well done. the Panasonic plasmas were great. especially the thin GT models.

Superb work .
i think my pana is one of them? bought it for £600 new from currys in 2012...i think, great work Allen
Nice fix Allen I thought you had missed the snapped leg on the first FET you put in 😊
I hoped you would need to replace the driver you mentioned, so I could understand what it was and its intended purpose.

Yes we covered that many years ago.
Hello Alan. Do you ever repair ccfl back lights or are they too old now? I've never seen you repair one on your channel.
Years ago yes. You can’t buy them now.
The vestel set i am using has them as its old possibly 13 years old .
@@paulb4uk yes mine is a vessel about the same age. I'm hoping it's just a fuse or capacitor issue when I have a chance to look at it.
@@tdub8719check for caps on the power supply 😊 unlikely to be tubes if any go there is normally just a dark area on the screen 😊
