Polymer clay millefiore caning is something everyone can learn. Pandora shows you how she uses her small canes and scrap to make mirror and composite pieces, and how she adds charms and bails to her pendants. Lastly she shows you a fun new cane shes been working with and talks about her upcoming partnership with curious.com.

Watching you reduce canes is so relaxing. Thank you.
Thank you
Pandora is my favorite polymer artist. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.
Awesome Teresa. Such a great share
I've watched a lot of polymer clay tutorials but your's are by far the best. Thanks.
Thank you, Veta. I have a full 10 video course on curious.com (Polymer Claydate with Pandora) and I'm also teaching in the Polymer Clay Adventure, which has 21 World Class Instructors...and Me-lol!.
What a beautiful little impromptu cane! Great video!
This is from a long while back, but I still want to say thank you, not only for your lessons, but your wise words of advise of being a life long learner,. Here I am, being a life long learner as I face 80 years coming up fast.
I loved the video. The bonus at the end is amazing.
Teresa, you're such an awesome teacher... I love your style. I could listen to you all day. You have such a relaxed manner and you are easy to follow and understand. Not everyone that is a great artist can also teach, but you do both SO well! Thanks for all you do.
How sweet, Andria. Thank you! There are lots more vids, so enjoy!
wowww awesome 👌👌👌 keep up the good work💪❤✌
As a life- long learner AND a committed teacher, I appreciate your words. For your future ideas and an honest mirror image, I thank you. Most interesting!
I think you are such a great teacher and I appreciate what you do!
Thank you, Blanche.

I had to watch that last cane a bunch of times , so unique !
Thanks ! :-)
you have such an eye for color! all your pieces are absolutely beautiful!
Thank you!
I never knew clay could be made into such beautiful designs. Fabulous channel :)
Awesome video. I love the one with the green, where each piece is outlines with black, it resembles stained glass.
"Life long learning!" I love that, and I love you!
Thank you so much, Phoenix ! XOXO
Love Love Love your tutorials they are fantastic, I was already hooked on polymer clay, you took it to the next level...
I really love your channel as well as you as a person you have such good energy and charismatic personality...yet you come across very genuine ..a very rare quality.Thank you so much for sharing your experience and talent ..as sappy as it may sound I think the fact that you are encouraging people to tap into their own creative spirit with your tutorials ..This is an important contribution to society that is not as revered as it should be!
Thank you So much. How nice.
Thank you Pandora, I've been watching your videos all morning and I have learned a tremendous amount of polyclay techniques as a result of your patient and easy to follow insrtructions. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your videos. As a newcomer to polyclay, I have a myriad of choices of polyclay videos at my disposal from You Tube which I have been perusing for the last week or so. I find that I prefer your videos for many reasons and I'm not sure I can list them all right here and now however, can I just tell you this...and it might sound strange but THANK YOU for not having big fake (distracting) nails on you fingers! OMG thank you.
Launa Banauna Hi, Laura. Thank you for your kind words. Actually, I DO occasionally resort to acrylic nails because my fingers split out at the ends from time to time and the nails help protect them until they heal up. I have them in my hour-plus complex caning vid-the floral one. People DID complain though. Lol!
Teresa - I appreciate that you take time to explain why you do what you do. You are the first to discuss about scale and size being important. I had an Aha! Moment when you talked about that. Now I understand why some beads don't look the way I wanted them to - one cane pulled the eye too much because of its size. Thanks!
Scouring RUclips for Natasha beads and find that I love yours the best! Thanks for sharing this and the bonus video is wonderful too!
you are so detailed and patient.
Loved your video. So clear and plenty of tips. Looking forward to learning more.
You're definitely the very best teacher out there, thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you, Bev. That's very sweet of you to say.
Thanks Teresa, for another awesome video. I love your comments about lifelong learning and the convulsion comment was really funny. I thought I was the only one who felt that way. Loved the cane at the end.
Hahhaaa. Thanks. I still have lots of stuff on Curious btw. I was just starting with them when I filmed that vid.
Here is a link. bit.ly/pandoraoncurious
Excellent tutorial, love your ideas. Thank you very much for sharing your enthusiasm for polymer clay and life-long learning.
Miss Teresa, I'm sooo happy about the curious.com thing. Since I have been watching your videos I had wondered if you had a pay channel. Your so talented, and I would GLADLY pay to learn from you. I'm still trying to get the basics down since I've just recently began playing with PC, but your technique of teaching is so easy going, that I am able to follow with ease. You are perfect for a site like that. I will be following you loyally! Thank you for becomming my teacher!
Thank you so much, Eleanor. I so appreciate your kind words.
Hi. I love that you always use a roller and the way you explain each and everything you do. This is very much appreciated by newbies like me. Thank you
I love your color scale in selecting your pieces.
Thank you.
Great videos. You do a fantastic job explaining. I too am a "life time learner". I started with photography at 20, then moved on to oil painting in my 30's. I am now 77 and have been polyclaying since I retired. Never too old to learn something new.
Can you send me some pix, Patricia? Busypandora@gmail.com
Hi Pandora,
I have learned so much very quickly from your videos. I've just begun working with Polymer and I've search many videos on RUclips, and your's are very generous with practical, logical, and creative information.
Thanks!
Joanna
Thank you Joanna. Send me pix, ok? Busypandora@gmail.com
I totally agree with the life time of learning motto...I still feel like a newbie every day, even after 10 years working with clay. Fantastic work! TFS
Lyn
Thank you, Lyn :-)
I agree!
Teresa, love this tutorial. I have a great love affair with mirror beads. Using leftover canes was amazing. I have canes from 2003 that I'm going to try this technique. And I agree with you about learning-never stop. The time to stop learning is when I have taken my last breath. Thank you for sharing. ❤😊❤
Hi Teresa! I love this video, and I am definitely going to try all of this techniques! I knew them but you showed me how to make them neat!!! Thanks a lot. and it's always nice to see you!
Esther Schmidt My pleasure, Esther.
I actually made this. It really turned out great. I’m really happy how the pendants turned out! Thank you Teresa!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely love your videos and the manner in which you teach. You make learning something new fun, it's like having a conversation with a friend!
How sweet of you to say.
AMAZING tutorial... some can do, some can teach, and some can do both wonderfully well! Thank you so much for sharing... you are so talented and such a wonderful teacher :)
Beautiful work
I was just watching some of your past videos yesterday and came across this one and fell in love with the cane tutorial you showed at the end. I had just said to myself that I have made enough canes and it is time for me to get busy making some jewelry, two months past due. Just suppose to be adding to my metalwork, but anyways I have made the cane and some basic earrings. I just love the colors and will do a small collection, Thanks so much for sharing 💐💐💐💐💐
Dorothy Hubbard my pleasure!
Teresa. You have given me such inspiration. As a beginner however, most of my attempts go awry.
Thanks, Marilyn
Hi Teresa...I have enjoyed your tutorials so much, and appreciate being able to come back to You Tube to review them again when I'm learning. I joined Curious.com specifically to follow you and find that only seconds worth of preview are available for free. I thought it sounded to good to be true. The amount of money each month isn't a great deal, but I can't justify the expense as I am on a fixed income. I'm so disappointed. Thank you for all of the tutorials you've shared with us. I do appreciate it very much. Good luck with your new endeavor.
Thank you so much for showing us these wonderful techniques !! I am, for sure, going to get back into using my clay now !!! Thanks bunches !
OLAWD!!! you definitely got a big like for the "convulsions" bit that was so funny!!!! and your work is beautiful! thank you for sharing..... I busted out laughing btw.
Very creative!
Please make a video showing signature cane. I absolutely love your videos. I can't stress enough how inspiring your video ate. The work you do is amazing. Keep up the awesomeness!
Very Cool ideas!😻
You do such wonderful work. I love your videos!!
Thank you, Melissa.
You are the QUEEEEEEEENNNNN of canes!
Many of your designs here remind me of Frank Lloyd Wright... nice 👍
Thank you🤗
Thank you so much for teaching this I appreciate you a lot, God bless you
Enjoy watching your tutorials, thanks for making them!
bjbusick You are very welcome.
Muy bueno y creativo, lo mejor " EL USO DEL RODILLO DE LA MAQUINA" JAJAJAJA!!!!!!!!!!!!!, felicitaciones !!!!!!!!!!! y muy buena idea.
Yay, I was looking forward to your video! I am so happy you posted. The wait is over!
Thank you Deborah.
What a unique & varied Video, love the Mirror look and tjhe last cane is one I want to try right away except it's 12:00am and I would be up to the wee hours trying it all out. Glad to hear that you are teaming up with Curious.com; we'll be looking forward to some more great videos.
Thank you!. My third course on curious will be released this week.
I love this so much information and helpful thank you
Charmin !!! Thank you so much for a wonderful and useful video ... Love it and can't wait to make it :)
That was fantastic, thank you! I will check out curious and your fb page. Again thank you
Sorry it took so long to view this tutorial! LOL..But, I absolutely love the control of the natasha beads that you make. So much more attractive than smooshing colors together and hoping for the best!!! Your technique plays right into my ocd for neatness!!! Beautiful pendants!!!
Maneesha I usually put the beads on afterward.
Thank you for marking your work area so you keep your work within range of the camera. I watch so many videos where the person is working off screen. It is so frustrating. Maybe you could suggest this at your next gathering with other polymer clay tutors or at a conference, etc. You can call if your pandorified video shooting tip.
That was great !! I am so glad I found you !! I love your videos : )
Thank you Samantha.
You always make it look easy! Till i try it.!!!
Thank you, Patricia Atencio.
Thank you. I always learn so much from you. I’m very excited about your making things for boys. I have a grand
Daughter and grandson. It’s easy to find things to make for her. But it’s so hard for boys. I hate to send her something I’ve made and not send him something I’ve made. So I’m going to look for you on curious.com.
Teresa you radiate sweet and lovely kindness
Lori Ede how nice of you to say that🤗
you are so beautiful, thanks for the tutorial, I enjoying so much, I love all the jewelry that you make and show to us.thanks so much
Sorry the volume is low. I think the new vids are louder. Earbuds maybe? I use headphones myself. Thanks fir your message.
gorgeous (thanks for the ideas)
Melissa Miew My pleasure :-)
Hi, thanks so much for your videos. I love them! I just started working with PC and have learned a lot from you.
It's my pleasure, Martha.
It's my pleasure, Deborah.
Namivenkat, its from my dead pasta machine. LOL!
Loved this tutorial Thank you.
Oh my gosh I love these !
nice demo. What about making sure the glass in the frame has a backing that has thickness that leaves no air space between the table and the frame so that pressure on the glass doesn't crack the glass. I am going to use a picture frame with graph paper under like you. so thanks much.
Thank you Heykayde. How sweet you are!
two questions: 1) where is the best place to buy polymer clay in bulk? 2) what is the best way to get your pieces glossy. I use resin for some things, and wet dry sandpaper, but is there another way to make them glossy where it won't affect the clay in the long run?
since you think that one is hideous can I have it? I love everything you do. You are talented and amazing. in totally addicted to watching you,
Brilliant, thank you xx
Thank you Chris.
Exelente video y sobre todo muy claro muchas gracias.
El gusto es mio.
just an observation... you need your camera a lot closer when you show the loop making .you can't see it well.
Splendid.
Thank you, Eva.
Thanks for sharing!!
I'm wondering if, for those who want more weight to a pendant, if a piece of flat metal could be incorporated inside the backing and the piece, or perhaps a nice piece of metal be glued to the back?
Like you, I'm surprised that your clients equate finer, lighter work with cheapness. It depends on the jewellery style and the material used of course, but usually the finer the work, the more I appreciate the work that went into it. I suppose that having it chunkier makes it more obvious that it was hand made?
If your clients prefer them that way, you go with what they prefer, though. As they say, the customer is always right.
I hope you still do some finer work for your own enjoyment, though, if you prefer to do it.
These are very nice pieces - you have an artistic eye. Thanks for this video :)
Teresa, loved all the tips in this video, can't wait to try this.
Question: what did you use as a mold to make the little bowl that you showed at the beginning of the video? I just love it.
Thanks!
Thank you, Quincie. I used the outside of a glass bowl for the mold.
Ok..I'm sorry but the first thingy you were putting together. After you put all the pieces together and hadn't quite formed it yet, it looked like a sushi roll. And the colors in general reminds me of sushi. So now..I am going to call it a Sushi Pendant! Also, I have not finished watching the whole video, but the scrap you started with for what you are doing at 23:58 I REALLY LOVED THAT...and was wondering if you made anything to sell out of that?
Great tutorial Teresa, you are so generous with your knowledge. What finish do you use for your pendants?
Regards
kay
Sculpey Gloss Glaze
I'm sorry about the sound, Rosebud. I think the new vids are louder. Maybe you can use earbuds? I use them myself because the volume on my laptop is not great. Thanks for watching. :-)
Amazing creativity.... do u bake the beads ??
Wow! 👍❤❤
When you talked about the weight of the piece...I was totally shocked to hear that!!
These are just beautiful! What do you use to make them so shiny after baking? Is it polymer spray?
Linda Star I use Sculpey Gloss Glaze
Listening to your video & watching it, I heard you say that the mold clay you buy is about $40.00 an ounce, did I hear you right, wow I always make my own clay, infact I have at least 3 different ways that I make it, if you'd like more info, please reply back, thanks & I love your ingenious clay designs, thanks so much.
Melody England hi. Clay is about $3 for 2 Oz. I’m not sure what the heck I ssid😆
hi Teresa, i was wondering what colors the bonus cane was made of between the white?? love the vids and i watch on curious.com also :)
~Dana
I love the beautiful cane that you made at the end of the video.
2 questions....What setting on the pasta machine to roll the
individual colors ? Did you make the gold slightly thicker before putting the layers together initially ?
Hey Teresa, I really love ur fun styles... :) I was just wondering where u got that clay roller from?
Ok. I sure will. How about July?
Excellent video presentation Teresa :) I learned a few things! Thanks
I absolutley love your video, its really inspiring. I have a little issue when I slice two pieces down the middle then place them flat to rejoin I have trouble getting rid of the line were you reconnect them together if I run my finger down it, it smudges the pattern and if I use the roller you have to roll it quite thinly to try and press the line out. Have you got any helpful tips on this please? I use Premo and Fimo clay.
Are you talking about the black? Can you just slice it off each side before putting them together?
