I so appreciate that you take time to teach us how to finish the pieces instead of just making the focal pieces as so many demonstrators do. Beautiful pieces. Thanks for sharing.
Your work looks so professional (high-end) and well thought out. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the quality of the work you do and the generosity you have shown in sharing your process. I look forward to your videos every week and wish you would do one (ten!) every day. You are so inspiring. Thanks so much!
Thank You so much for sharing your Technics with us. Your work is so Beautiful, Classy and Professional looking. And your teaching Technic and camera angles seem just right. I'm so glad that I found your tutorials.
I could watch you work all day! I just love your bails! They really do add quite the right touch to your beautiful pendants. You sure have sparked my creative fire ... Thanks for sharing!!!
Very informational! Thank-you for sharing! The pendants shown here are beautiful. Do you have tutorials available for making any of them? Thanks again.
I really appreciate you taking so much time and explanation to show different ways of doing this. Especially for those of us who are just starting out and don't have all the tools. I love the simplistic beauty of how you do these.
Hi Patricia. I just discovered you and now I'm binge watching your tutorials! I love your work and the clear way you describe the process. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and techniques. I can't wait to see more. I'm totally hooked!!!!
Patricia.... you do such beautiful work.... you are incredibly talented and I thank you for doing these tutorials as your instruction is wonderfully refreshing. Looking forward to more. Jocelyn
Another winner! I ran across one of your videos and became an immediate fan. I have watched those related to clay and jewelry several times, of course I subscribed. Your calm style, little bits of humor along the way and willingness to share your knowledge in such a pleasant manner enables your fans to learn while feeling they are visiting a friend. That is a true gift. TFS!
I work in metals , bead, precious stones. You have definitely sparked my interest in clay. I have learned so much about working with Clay just from watching this one video. I think I'll give it a try. .I thank you!
It never dawned on me that you could make bails from the clays itself. Thanks so much - I spent forever looking for bails for my jewelry this will save me much money - :) Love your channel :)
Amazing work. Please expand upon this subject! You have the coolest accessories, I would never think to use copper for bails. Brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and experience.
Very impressive! Your videos are incredibly informative. I've subscribed, and I look forward to working my way through all your videos. Thanks for sharing such great & well-thought out content!
Awesome job! I love them all!! Loved the video and this will teach me to save my money and create more bails from now on. This is so cool!!!! Thanks again ☺
I would LOVE to see a tutorial on how you made the flower pendant. You are amazing and extremely talented. I have watched ALL of your videos and look forward to seeing many more. Gentle Hugs, Stacey
Thanks Stacey. The flower pendant is an drawing that was transferred onto raw clay, cured and then coloured with Prismacolor markers. I put a couple of coats of Kato liquid clay over it to seal everything.
Patricia I am always IN AWE of your creative work. You are just amazing. The bail ideas are incredible and set off the pendants beautifully - I am anxious to try them in my own work! :)
Hi, love your work! I got a lot of great ideas. I finally found Debbie Crothers actually my husband found her so I've watched some of her videos too. I hope I can transfer my ideas onto your techniques the way you have onto hers. You've really expanded her ideas. I hope you can help me find one of the copper round dome pieces you use. I want to do black line drawings on a baked and sanded piece and then color it with water color and then seal it with liquid Kato. I'll have to buy Debbie's course to learn how to make it look smooth. Thanks to you I have some ideas on how to make the bail. Thank you so much for sharing. I'll be 76 in August so you're never to old to learn. I want to make some of your lovely book marks too. Take care, Sharon Hille
Thanks Sharon, those larger dome pieces I bake on, I found at a local bead shop, I wouldn't know where else to find them. They were a belt buckle I think- one has to keep your eyes open for things you can re-purpose
Thank you so much, I love your bails and your ways of stringing your items. You have a very good way of teaching and it is easy to see what a giving person you are. How do you get your liquid clay finish to look so great mind isn't so smooth.
Thanks Rosy. I learned how to apply Liquid clay from a tutorial I purchased from Debbie Crothers. Basically, you need Kato Liquid Clay and a heat gun. It would not be fair for me to say much more- I highly recommend her tutorial- it was like being in the same room with her.
You are so talented thank you so very much!!! I have some random pieces I had no clue what to do with. I know what I'm doing tomorrow. Inspiration comes from all over!!!!
Hi Pat! I’m worried about you because I haven’t seen or heard anything on you tube of you. I hope you are feeling well and you’re ok. We miss you sooo much! Thanx for all your teaching videos. 😉👍❤️🥰
What a great video! I'd been having some ideas about bails for some pieces I made, and lo and behold you've done it! Grateful I don't have to try reinventing the wheel. Your work is just amazing! (Also reminded me I have some sari ribbon I've yet to use!) Thank you for taking the time to share this.
Patricia, you know we all love every thing you do. You have said if we want to learn about something, ask.i was wondering if you can teach us the beads you made on your favorite necklace. Love that necklace. So beautiful!!!!!!
Thanks so much! You gave me the incentive to try out that attachment for the extruder for making a hole in the middle. I have had it for a while but it looked like my circle disc was too small for the hole. It worked fine though! :)
Very beautiful, love the pendents that you made, and of course the polymer bails that go so very well with them,, inspiration at its best, thank you for your very inspiring videos,, I've saved your page on the tube cap ends,, and this one, awesome, 🌹🌺🌹🌺🍁🍂🍁🍂🌻🌼🌸🌈wish the flowers were real for you instead of just stickers.!!!
Patricia, love all your different bails you made. Thank you for sharing your different ways to make the amazing bails. Also I love your bracelet!! Do you have a video on how to make your bracelet?
Thanks Julie, I have a video on how I make my bracelets, but not on the one I'm wearing in this video. It was scrap clay chopped up fine and put back into a cane of several different colours. Then flattened out and run through the pasta machine- folded and run through a few more times. Something like a Skinner blend, but not as blended. My bracelet video can be found here ruclips.net/video/F9iPzfxfXvk/видео.html
Thank you so much for this wonderful video, I have learned so much and it was very interesting!!Why pay lots of money, when you can create your own!! I never thought about copper refrigerator tubing.
Thank you, I just started my channel 5 months ago, so I have a few pendants in my videos. Some of what you see here, I've done from other people's videos or classes. Not my technique to share
No, I don't it's a Mokume Gane technique, I pressed divots into the layers of clay, added mica powder to the divots, then shaved them back to reveal a flat veneer
I would love to see a video of how you get your lovely effects on your pendants. Are they alcohol inks? I have never used them. I really like your style. Would like to see a video of how exactly you color your pendants. You do a very nice job. Well done!
Thank you! I'm easily bored ( lol! ) so I do lots of different things. Some of the pendants shown here are from other tutorials that I've purchased. I won't be giving out that information, but some are things I've developed myself and I can share. As soon as I can figure out a reliable way to transfer a drawing, I'll show how I colour it with Alcohol Ink markers
Absolutely love this tutorial. So much better than using commercial metal bails. Thank you. What sort of bail would you suggest for a teardrop pendant?
Thanks Christine, that really depends on so much! If it has a hole on the face of it, the oval bail ( the one that's folded ) that I show quickly at the end with jumprings would work good
I love your videos, beautiful all the pendants, thank you for sharing with us all your ideas. Could you please tell me which technique you used to make the head of the horse on the pendant?. Thank you!!
Thank you, I drew the image of the horse in raw scrap clay with a small ball tool, then baked it, and then used the piece as a texture stamp by pressing raw clay into it and getting an impression. It was coloured with Pan pastels and baked.
Wow! Your videos are so very helpful! Thank you so much! I can hardly wait to watch more. Two questions...what is TLS and how do your crystals stay on? Mine fall off. Many thx
If you know exactly how you want it, you certainly could make the pendant and bail at the same time. The black and silver shield pendant that I showed was done that way. You just have to be a bit delicate with it so you don't wreck the pendant when applying the bail
Love them all. Thanks foe all the great information. I'm a newbie so need all the help I can get! Is there a good source for the ribbon you use on a lot of your pendants? I love the look of it.
This is THE most AWESOME polymer clay bail instructional video. Thank you!
Thank you so much Dona, I'm so glad you liked it!
I so appreciate that you take time to teach us how to finish the pieces instead of just making the focal pieces as so many demonstrators do. Beautiful pieces. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Rose, do you mean the wavy disk beads? or the Pendant? I was thinking about something with wavy disk beads- they're fun!
Thanks so much! You gave me the incentive to try out that attachment for the extruder for making a hole in the middle. I have had it for a while but it looked like my circle disc was too small for the hole. It worked fine though! :)
That's great Lynn, glad to help!

Do you have a tutorial for the beautiful black and white pendant?
No, I don't it's a Mokume Gane technique, I pressed divots into the layers of clay, added mica powder to the divots, then shaved them back to reveal a flat veneer
Patricia Roberts-Thompson thank you. All your work is beautiful!

That was an awesome video , thank you so much !
Thanks Tracy

Great information video. Thank you 👍
Thanks Teri!
Absolutely love this tutorial. So much better than using commercial metal bails. Thank you.
What sort of bail would you suggest for a teardrop pendant?
Thanks Christine, that really depends on so much! If it has a hole on the face of it, the oval bail ( the one that's folded ) that I show quickly at the end with jumprings would work good
I can watch you work over and over again. Would you know if the extruder die that makes the hole will fit a Walnut Hollow extruder?
Yes it does fit the Walnut Hollow Extruder- I had one before I bought the Lucy Clay Extruders
Patricia Roberts-Thompson thank you!
You are amazing! Love your bail ideas! Thank you so much!❤
Thanks Joannie, happy to help!
Hi Patricia, i meant the beads, but love the whole necklace!!
Wow! Your videos are so very helpful! Thank you so much! I can hardly wait to watch more. Two questions...what is TLS and how do your crystals stay on? Mine fall off. Many thx
loved all of them!
Thanks Joanna
Is it better to bake the pendant then add the bail and bake again? Wanted to know if I could do the pendant and bail in one step. Thanks!
If you know exactly how you want it, you certainly could make the pendant and bail at the same time. The black and silver shield pendant that I showed was done that way. You just have to be a bit delicate with it so you don't wreck the pendant when applying the bail
Thank you, Patricia!
I love your videos!
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Love them all. Thanks foe all the great information. I'm a newbie so need all the help I can get! Is there a good source for the ribbon you use on a lot of your pendants? I love the look of it.
Thanks Wanda, I buy my Sari silk ribbon on Etsy, at Silk Divine
Patricia Roberts-Thompson thanks!
