Stunning bowl! I love how you colored the clay in the bag, great idea. Its amazing how green the bowl looks, with you using a very bright blue alcohol ink. I love the baha blue, such a pretty color!
Beautiful piece. I so appreciate your teachings. I’d like to know why you don’t heat the feet along with the bowl piece, even though you’re no fastening it together? Again, your uses of mix mediums really makes your pieces uniquely beautiful. I find myself drawn to pieces like this, more than jewelry; Not that those pieces aren’t wonderful to make/see. I’m definitely going to try this out…
Thank you. I attack the feet while they're raw because it adhere to the bowl better and I find it easier to get a nice, level finish. If they were cured that would be a lot harder. :D
This is incredible! I am a beginner and I am looking for specific tutorials and this gives me so much information that I can use. Thank you and I've been enjoying your other videos as well.
Gorgeous bowl and seems quick, aside from the wait times. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful projects. I am also on your Patreon and really enjoy those projects as well as the free ones on RUclips. You are so generous with your knowledge and experience. It is mush appreciated.
Yes. I sell many different large cutters. Here's the ones I used in this tutorial: www.etsy.com/au/listing/702200906 And some others: www.etsy.com/au/shop/JessamaDesign?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=24135325
Hello. I do not speak englisch very well. Your work is very nice :-) but why use some isopropyl alcohol (70 % or 100% ?) ? Thank you for your reply 🙂 For future tutorials, I would like to have subtitles in French please. Thanks
Samantha once again your work is beautiful. You have a blend of being a gifted teacher as well as being such a talented artist. We appreciate you for sharing your techniques with us!
love this idea and cant wait to try it. As I was watching a delivery from your Etsy shop arrived and of course I tried every thing I bought strait away. love your products!
The main difference I notice between Premo translucent and Premo white translucent is that the white translucent has optical brighteners that fluoresce under UV light. Regular translucent doesn't. You can tell the difference when you take the piece out in the sunshine, the UV in sunshine will make the brighteners pop a bit. Under the UV resin curing light, the different really stands out.
Really nice job! I’ve done a few bowls but the cutters help! I also love the feet! I had no idea on the 2 translucent premos! Now I know. Thanks so much 🙏 you do beautiful work.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful artistry with us. Your tuition is great and very inspiring. I am very new to this lovely craft and its people like yourself that is so helpful to us beginners. I haven't actually made anything yet as I want to gather as much information as I can before making a start. Thanks again. X
The alcohol inks change color after baking when mixed with the clay. A blue ink will turn quite green after baking. A green is will look almost like a muddy yellow. :D
Your technique for mixing clay with alcohol inks is fantastic!! That’s a wonderful idea for keeping our hands clean!😊
Maravillosamente inspiradora y sencillez de Maestra...😊❤

The work is very beautiful .. with what material did you polish this work , it became shiny . Thank you.
I use wet\dry sandpaper and then polishing cloths. www.etsy.com/au/listing/660752042

I wonder if a deli slicer or mandolin would work to cut cane? Love this bowl so pretty 😍
Yes. It can work, just needs to be really sharp.
This is incredible! I am a beginner and I am looking for specific tutorials and this gives me so much information that I can use. Thank you and I've been enjoying your other videos as well.

I concur. I’m new to her channel, and find the same lovely combination ❤
Oh so beautiful! It looks like a lot of work, but turned out beautifully. I want to try it.
love this idea and cant wait to try it. As I was watching a delivery from your Etsy shop arrived and of course I tried every thing I bought strait away. love your products!
Could I do this same procedure with air dry clay? Thank you.
I've not tried air dry clay before, so I'm not sure.

I just ordered some translucent premo, and then sent white premo w/special effects. I do believe this isn’t a translucent clay; any idea?
Amazing I’m definitely making one this weekend
Thank you for this very useful tutorial ❤

This is a great project. Giving me a lot of ideas and tips, especially the way you mixed in the ink.
Very nice! How long do you allow the wax to dry?
After buffing, I leave it for about 24 hours.
Samantha, when you added the inks did you say you could use kitchen food color as well? Or did I misunderstand?
No, I have only used alcohol inks, but now that you've said it, I wonder it that would work. I'll have to try it at some point.
@@JessamaTutorials I'm going to try it. I'll let you know. Thank you for all your help.🩵
Gorgeous! I'm curious, though - why blue and not green for a faux emerald bowl? Could/should green and blue be mixed?
The alcohol inks change color after baking when mixed with the clay. A blue ink will turn quite green after baking. A green is will look almost like a muddy yellow. :D
@@JessamaTutorials Thank you!!!
Absolutely gorgeous love the color
Hello Jessama
How big is the cutter you are using? If I wanted to make a round plate, what diameter would you recommend?
I used a 9.5cm by 9.5cm cutter.
In regards to the plates diameter, it would depend on it's intended use?
@@JessamaTutorials as the round One.... Decorative, or for small objects ( coins, car's keys...)
I'd recommend 8.5cm to 9.5cm rounds.
You are a great teacher this is lovely 🌈
