I am so happy to have found your early tutorials. I have journeyed with you and see how you have developed into an entrepreneur as well as great artist, teacher. Thank you TPS. I am learning so much.
Absolutely amazing! I've been searching a long time for this type of cane. My aesthetic is usually primitive, bohemian, tribal which tends to be a not super perfect or a busy design. I love your videos and I can't wait to try some of your techniques. Thanks so much! OH...I almost forgot I'm interested in learning how to build a cane from scratch. When I see a design and would like to make a cane that is similar...sort of like deciphering. I don't know if that makes sense...lol ;)
I found you through Turtle Soup. SO glad I did. This is amazing. I was given a gift of some junky, brandless polymer clay. Does anyone have suggestions for what CAN be done with it? I already have a long list of things that don't work...
I like this tutorial but I’m a bit confused lol. I would like to know how to get the cane in the picture. It is so different then just the sun cane. Which I learned a great deal from but the how do you get the circles etc that show in the picture or like it is in your toothpick holder? I’ve watched many of your tutorials and love them. I’ve went threw your list many times to find the different cane but have had no luck! Maybe after this long I’m suppose to be able to figure it out but I’m a visual kind lol. Canning always scared me till just recently and I did a rose cane from TurtleSoapBeads and now I just want to learn and do more and more. Your channel for that is the best I knew that just from watching it all these years but this one has me stumped! Also I would like to know when you did the skinner blend of the yellow and red did you fan fold it or what before you turned it into a triangle ? Sorry for the lengthy text but I love that cane on your toothpick holder and on the RUclips picture. ❤️❤️❤️
Hello, I am new to polymer clay because of the project of the bowl in the reds and so many wonderful colors. I said to myself I want to do that! I had stocked up on Sculpey lll because of my arthritis. I'd gotten three of the Premo but it hurt my hands to condition the clay! is there a way to condition without using my hands so much? I tried to do the moon and star side and have a big mess. also could you tell how much clay to start with? Also what can I do with all that Sculpey lll? I love watching videos, except you skip or barely mention some of the techniques. For example, you think we beginners will get bored, but in reality I'd like to watch you to show how you reduce down to the bead size cane so it will come out even!! thank you for sharing your talent with us!
I went to the links and so sadly they were not there. With great thanks to you Teresa I have made my first cane!! Please can I know if there are more videos somewhere, would love to learn more from you, you do so well to explain!
Hi, Allison. Thank you for your kind words. My RUclips Channel is Superclaygirl and I have 17 videos. I also have a complete caning course on curious.com under Polymer Claydate with Pandora. I will fix the links right now. :-)
For cap ends, for those who can't afford them just yet, do you think we could make a poor man's cap end out of cutting circles from our old x-ray films? Do you think they would be firm enough?
Hi Teresa! I notice you use several sizes of metal rods to shape your clay. Do you sell these? If not, where can I get some? Thanks, love your videos!!
hello teresa mam, i used to watch ur videos .i am ur fan.i used to do small ear stud.i dont have a oven toaster pls suggest me what brand to buy.i live in dubai.pls help me out.you are my tutor i am so glad to see ur videos.i will be happy if you reply to me. thank you mam
I am having trouble finding a video on your channel about reducing. Would you be able to link it here or maybe in your video description? I'd love to watch that one before I finish watching this one. Also, if new clay people like me don't have a pasta roller, is there an alternative we can use until we decide if it's something we will stick with to justify the expense later on?
Here is a reduction vid. Use plastic lids from peanuts or coffee cans if you don't have CaneCaps. :-)ruclips.net/video/mBUPOj5jO-o/видео.html Just use whatever hand roller you have until you get a machine. It will work out fine.
Teresa Pandora Salgado thank you so much. I am really enjoying watching your videos. You are so kind and your funny comments here and there make me giggle out loud. :)
Your scrap clay bead holder? I would have taken that large chunk of raw clay, added some white, or yellow, or pink or some other lighter and brighter color and swirled it some more and made something else. I never have more than about a teaspoon of scraps because I always see another possibility of color excitement. Even with the mud colors.
I love your vids but it sounds like your microphone is across the room and very difficult to hear even with volume on vid and lap top turn as loud as it can be. Thanks so very much for sharing all you know, it's so helpful.
