Today I'm doing a review on the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Makeup Remover. Find out what I have liked about this product and see if it will work for you as well.
There are a couple sizes available for the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Makeup Remover and the size I have in this review is the 1 ounce size.
This make up remover by Clinique works extremely well because the safflower seed oil inside this product easily removes all my tough makeup while still being safe for my sensitive skin and doesn't cause me any breakouts.
It takes off my water proof eyeliner effortlessly and is great for my bright red lip stain that I wear all the time and is really hard to get off with other make up removers.
This product is fragrance free and has absolutely no scent at all added to it. Its also free of parabens, phthalates, gluten, synthetic colors, drying alcohol, sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate.
The consistency of this makeup remover is a balm so you don't have to worry about it spilling out.
Using this make up remover is super easy too.
First take some of the balm out of it's cotainer with dry hands and massage it your face. I use a little more than the size of a green pea.
Then rinse with warm water and pat your face dry. Next follow up with your regular face cleaner and moisturizer.
It quick and efficient and why I love it so much.
A little goes a long way with this make up remover too. The 1 ounce size lasts me about 4-5 months.
The 1 ounce size is a great size to test out this product before buying a larger size or for traveling. The container it comes in is plastic so it's not heavy at all which is why it's great for traveling and won't break easily like a glass jar would.
Overall I would recommend the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm Makeup Remover because it works great and takes off my water proof eyeliner in seconds. It also doesn't cause me to break out which is the best part.
