The great thing about these workouts and about Heather, especially, is that you get up and do it even when you don't feel like it. We all have days when we're tired or not up to it, yet Heather's workout forces you to just show up. And you never regret it afterward. In fact, you always feel better when you're done.
I had a major win today......I didn't do a single push up on my knees!!! I'm so excited after a year of Heather workouts, I am seeing serious strength gains. This was a tough one and I did it. =)
Exactly. I can go for a run or use a treadmill for a while if I want cardio. But strength workout is something that would be hard for me to figure out myself.

That was one of the hardest chest&back workouts I've done, especially on the back! That last circuit was a killer and by the final round my back muscles were just dying, really! Two scapular squeezes in a row was just mean🤣 saving this to my favorites! (burned 301 cals on my galaxy watch)
Oh boy - that was a lot of pushups! But I made it through without having to scale to my knees! And those back to back scap squeezes at the 3rd circuit were a struggle!

I have been but I’ve been following her for 3 years so I’ve done a lot of the same workouts and although still great I miss waking up to a new challenging tabata sesh 🙂
As with many other’s, I love this program and workouts! I appreciate all the hard work and time that goes into these videos! My only gripe is the music. Especially the cool down song on this one. A sad break up song. Others have had similar type songs but I want to feel uplifted after a workout but I definitely am feeling sad today.
Strong day today! I challenged myself to do all pushups on my toes, just like Heather :) For my birthday yesterday, I got myself some 35/40 lb dumbbells which i used today in the chest press variations...I can hardly type now but making gains is worth it!

This was PERFECT! I strained my ankle biking, but with a couple of minor modifications, I was able to do this, work up a sweat, and burn calories. Thank you!
I’m not a fan of chest workouts because I have to keep adjusting my weights! But I am loving these so much! I prefer these styles over the ones with HIIT!

Use what suits you. You don’t really need to know what Heather is using, to be honest, and I think that’s why she doesn’t really show what she’s using. Make sure you are comfortable with what you choose and maintain good form. If your form is compromised, it’s too heavy but it should be heavy enough that your last couple reps might be difficult.
@@nikkijohnson983 I guess you are right! I just feel that sometimes my brain is trying to get me to do the easier version of the exercise and I don't like that haha But if I know what Heather is using, then I'll have a good reason not to listen to my brain. Hope this makes sense 😂
@@rouna07 It does make sense, but you might surpass the weights Heather is using sometime so you need to be able to trust yourself to make a decision on what is best for you. (Or sometimes she may be using heavier than what is suitable for you).

Lol it's a great feeling when you dp those push ups! Keep trying, practice will get you results! 👏🏼 I practiced a lot with negative push ups both on knees and regulars, as well as incline push ups before I was able to do regular push ups properly. It's a great way to build some strength and get more accustomed to the movement. Anyway I'm sure you'll get there soon!! Keep going! 😊👍🏼
Goodness! My chest muscles were quivering in the 3rd set of the 2nd round. Then the scap exercises back to back in the 3rd round. Oh my!! Hate to love these sessions so much!
This was amazing! I agree with others that a cardio break is needed here and there! Anyone else modifying pushups on knees? Im feeling sooo much stronger but I still cannot do these moves in full push up mode😔 I feel terrible doing it when Heather doesn't ever show it as modified option.
You should NOT feel terrible!! Most people can't do push ups at all. So don't worry! It's great that you do them on your knees, keep doing that and focus on good form; keep a tight core. Eventually you will be able to do 1 regular push up. Then 2. Then 3..... Practice is the only way to get better! You could also build som strength by doing negatives. Meaning you get into push up position, lower yourself slowly, all the way down. Release, push yourself back up, repeat. You can do this on both your knees and with regular push ups. Also incline push ups are great. Regular push ups against an inclined object, like a wall/bench/chair/sofa. Really good way to build strength and practice the movement. It will get better, keep going! 😊👏🏼

Non-scale victory (nsv) - I am getting SO much better at pushups over time! I got through most of those T-pushups with ease and strength! Woot!

What I most love about Heather workout vs others is the music.

Day 28 is a wrap! Loved the combination of exercises💪🏾♥️ I liked that I felt like I was getting a full body workout but just for upper body 😉
