- I'm 35 weeks pregnant and experiencing some really INTENSE painful contractions. It feels like my body is preparing for labor even though I'm a few weeks away from being full term.

I had my daughter last year at 36 weeks. She was huge. She wasa nearly 8 pounds and perfectly healthy and went home 2 days later(they did extra watch on her). My son was 8 pounds at 39 weeks

Yes love the self love message! Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is hard enough on it's own and u shouldn't feel bad about doing something small just to be comfortable even for a moment!

Keeping you and baby in my prayers. I am watching this after seeing the Instagram story about the condition with your liver has developed and obviously no one has commented anything about it which is strange because this video has been up for over 24 hours. It does sound like your body is getting ready to evict baby bear in the next week or so. I had never heard of it until just the last year when another RUclips creator did a video about it and how they had to induce her early to protect her and the baby. Sending you positive energy and many prayers for everything to work out safely for both of you. VirtualHugs. It’s ok if you don’t get everything done before baby comes. Ask for help from your family and close friends. I wish that they had all of those breastfeeding and pumping supplies at Walmart, Target and similar stores like that because I had to go to a lactation specialist at their lactation center to get what little I was able to get. I now know that the nipple shields would have been a game changer for our breastfeeding and pumping journey.
The baby prep talk is getting me so excited for when it's time for me to start mine (Currently 25weeks)

Make sure your staying hydrated take electrolytes if your contractions aren’t going away hopefully you make it to 37 weeks ❤️❤️ my 3rd baby was the worst everything felt different and I had lightening crotch 😩
Absolutely, on the whatever makes you feel good talk! A good friend told me to make my bedroom into a cozy sanctuary because you’ll spend so much time there so it should be nice and comfortable. It makes all the difference! 🥰
I’m not going to lie. When I had my baby at 26 I had no idea the amount of carnage postpartum would hold. I lost my mom at 19 so didn’t really have anyone to fill me in on the ins and outs of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I wish someone would have told me what a huge massacre “down there” would be. Lmao!!!
Good idea to get ready sooner rather than later girl. If you’re having contractions now it sounds like you will go early. Better safe than sorry. What I’m anxious to find out if you pop with you’re water breaks like the other two. I hope you have one more baby. You’re an awesome mother. Willa is sooo smart for a 2 year old. You must really work hard with them at home. Great job. I’m so glad the coronavirus isn’t too bad there. That’s a godsend. I can’t wait for more updates and your birth vlog. Woohoo! I’m praying everything goes easy for you. And btw, you’re going to have baby bear fast. Maybe even faster than Willa so be prepared!! Good luck!!
I keep having the feeling this baby is gonna come early, every time you upload i feel like its gonna be the "im in labor!" Announcement. Obviously i hope little bear goes full term!

Girl, buy one small pack of Depends. Save the undies and pads for after you go through the Depends. It is seriously a life changer lol 😆

I am just super excited for you can not wait to see baby bear 👶🏻 🐻 🤰🤱🌈😍💐💐💋💋🙏🏻🙏🏻🌷🌹🌻🌼🌸🌺 Its just too much emotions I lost my baby two weeks ago at 6 weeks and It was going to be my second pregnancy I was truly happy , excited , grateful for another baby and for all those special moments and then all my hopes and dreams went away lost my angel 👼🏻 in September 22 and I just feel this hole and emptiness in my heart I had a guy feeling I was having a baby boy so I named him Angel can not wait to have my rainbow baby soon 🌈 👶🏻 Just wanted to share of what im going thru in the hopes of you giving me a piece of advice send you lots of hugs 🤗 😘

I 100% agree, get and do whatever makes you feel good right before, during, and after birth! Getting new undies is just one of those things everyone should do! Those that you got look super soft and comfy and I might just hit up my local Target to grab some!
I can't believe 35 weeks have already passed! Seems like it was just last month we were finding out baby was coming! I'm so excited that there's only a few more weeks!

The way I understand contractions, the initial ones are more toward the top and middle of your uterus. These contractions pull upward and efface your cervix. Eventually, when your body feels it's ready, it moves down and begins to dilate your cervix as well. So, they're likely getting things started. It's early but it's exciting!

Definitely in the same boat as you. 34.4 and my body has just been blah. I actually got checked at my 34 week appt just because I was nervous for how much pain I was in when I did have discomfort randomly. Pressure, lower cramping, painful to where it’d stop me in my track, Braxton Hicks are more intense etc. I’m closed but my Baby girl has dropped so that’s good.
To be safe, I’ve had my hospital and snack bag ready for a couple weeks now lol
This happened to me with my first 2 pregnancies (currently pregnant with #3). I had prodormal labour, both babies stayed in until term, 37 + 2 and 38 +1!! It was brutal though almost daily painful contractions but no progress happened or very slow progress.
Lex, thank you so much for your birth/postpartum pep talk. Moms deserve to feel good and somewhat normal during birth and postpartum because it's all hard work. ❤ prayers to you and baby for a safe and healthy mom, baby and delivery!

Going through the same thing with intense painful contractions as well as cervical cramping. I’m about to be 35 weeks I know we are super close in pregnancy and it’s my third pregnancy (that has made it this far). I also have pre eclampsia, so I will be induced sometime within the next 2 1/2 weeks based off of my blood work. Side note: highly recommended ordering extra perineal ice packs from amazon they have the same ones the hospital has.
Was I the only one that when Willa said she was going to hid that was so ready for a little mini hide and seek round and watched her run into the kitchen and open the door to the porch 😂
Also 35 weeks over here 🙋🏼♀️ and I feel so unprepared. We don’t have the nursery set up and I still need to buy a car seat and diaper bag. 🤦🏼♀️ not to mention all the necessities for myself. What are your must haves for a hospital stay? For you and baby? This is my second to come home and I feel like a first time mom again.
wow! First comment. That's never happened to me before (lol) But.. $12.99 for that woven basket.. Great price in my opinion. Those are hard to find at my stores.. And they look so pretty anywhere in your home. Were due to have our baby on Oct 20th and have been doing the same things as you- still need to build the swing, get the pac n play set up, set up a baby box upstairs and down, etc. A Lot goes into having a tiny human!
I absolutely never had like the prepairing contractions until I was 41 weeks. I immediately got a storm of contractions and my son was born at 41 weeks and 1 day. So I really have no Idea how that would be. Also no braxton hics whatsoever. I was really confused when it really started immediatly like the real deal. 🙈
I swear it seems like we almost always have the same problems in our pregnancies. I have been having preterm labor symptoms since I was 31 weeks and I made it to 36 weeks yesterday on the 9th. I have also been dilated since 31 weeks only at 1cm still and my baby girl has been head down since then but after my appointment I had yesterday she is really low down so I think she has officially dropped although it isn’t quite as noticeable because I have carried her low throughout the whole pregnancy anyway. But I feel you on the contractions which started at 31 weeks. I have had to go to the ER like 3 times for different preterm labor symptoms but they never really seemed to concerned. I also possibly have a high leak going on but yet my fluid levels are fine right now.. But again people at ER weren’t too concerned when I Went about that. This is my first baby and I really don’t even know at this point if she is gonna come earlier or not.
I’m 35 weeks tomorrow and I feel the same way that you explained at the beginning. My midwife said to call if I ever get more than 4 in an hour and at my last appointment I told her I’d be calling every hour lol. That final countdown can be the worst. Especially when there’s so much that is unknown.
I’ve changed my mind all through your journey first girl then boy then Girl but I now think a boy 💙
You should try wearing Depends, I heard it is much more comfortable and easier than wearing underwear in the first couple of weeks
Comfort is magical and have good knickers. Are you worried to having a fast labour. 40minutes last time.
Went into labor at 35 weeks in may now I have a happy 4 month old! He was super low as well.
I had super painful contractions at 21 weeks let me tell you that was scary. Got to the hospital they said I was dehydrated and drink a ton of water. They checked my cervix manually guess you call it lol then I had a ultrasound to make sure it really wasn't shortening and it was fine.I was sent home to drink water and the pain went away(thank God my real labor wasn't like that omg I was in tears in pain). Make sure your drinking tons of water (they told me 2L I should be drinking a day while pregnant) it sounds like how I was kind of but the pain radiated from lower abdomen up my stomach like bad diarrhea cramps. After that I had lots of Braxton Hicks (mainly tightening sometimes mildly painful up until 38 weeks 2 days when I went into full labor. Had my daughter 38 weeks 3 days). Take care Lex all will be okay

With my second, I was prepped with baby stuff by 30 weeks. I had a lot of time on my hands since we were in COVID land. Haha it made my last 10 weeks go so slow. My little boy is now 3 months old.
I just rewatched it and realized Willa asked to play hide & seek, that’s why she was in the basket! So freaking adorable 😍 thanks for keeping us up to date! Your family is in my prayers and I can’t wait for baby 🐻 to join your fabulous clan!

Both of my babies were a week early, too. My 2nd I had strong, consistent contractions at 36 weeks and onward with her incredibly low in my pelvis. When I went into actual labor, I thought they’d send me home, but we were only in labor there for 4 hours and pushed for 3 min lol so good luck! I hope you can make it to full term 💗

What you’re describing sounds so much like I experienced in my last trimester with my second who was born in September, and he came almost three weeks early at 37 and a half weeks 😬 we weren’t prepared because I had to be induced with my first lol, so good for you for getting things ready. Everyone is healthy and happy though! Best of luck to you! 🤞

Yesss on the little joys! I bought myself some really nice shampoo and conditioner that smelled soooo good and that first shower at the hospital was absolutely amazing. I’ve recommended it to all my friends.
Make sure you’re chugging water! I’ve seen so many pregnancy vlogs where they get super scared and have strong contractions due to dehydration. This might not be it at all, but it doesn’t hurt to try ❤️

For my post partum bleeding i wore underwear I didn't care about but still kept them clean and huge pads will be your best friend during recovery. Use the peri bottle as much as you want etc
My 2nd daughter was 6 weeks early so her nursery was finished after she came home from the hospital

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and being real and genuine. Your family is beautiful! I have two girls one 2 and one 10 months old. I wish someone would have told me about this with my first about bouncing back or feel good about undies and makeup. We want one more baby and I literally feel like I’m learning more and more. You gave me a bunch of ideas!! For when we do plan for a third.

Beings that its your 3rd baby, you could go into labor a little sooner & your delivery may be a lot quicker. It sounds like Braxton Hicks to me, but if they were hurting down below then I would be a bit concerned. Definitely would get to packing that hospital bag though because you just never know! You could see the contraction when you showed us, it made your belly more round again instead of pointing towards the floor. Im so excited for you! I can't wait to meet baby bear! ❤

I haven’t gained any weight with this pregnancy until the last week I gained 2 pounds. Dr said it’s all fluid. I’m ready to meet this baby physically but house wise I’m so unprepared lol
