Heeeey friends, it's been awhile xox Please Subscribe! I filmed an alright quality video of my empty townhouse on residence. I hope you enjoy xo Love Rachel
What major have you chosen? And how is experience at SFU? Would you recommend anyone or? Also one more question when does the fall program start like from august end or September starting week like 2nd sept or around? This video was uploaded on my birthday and also you lookk soo beautiful!!!
I studied Communication! I really enjoyed SFU, and becoming apart of a community (through residence, or clubs) really made the experience a lot more fun. The semesters are typically September-December, January-April, May-August. The exact start dates will vary depending on holidays. I think school usually starts after the September long weekend? But you can check by searching SFU student calendar online. Thank you :)
At the end of the day, we are all going to experience living on residence differently! Personally, I loved having the ability to walk all the way home after class without waiting for transit. I think giving it a shot to live on residence is an amazing idea! I met so many new friends and had a lot of opportunities to take part in residence/campus experiences. If that excitement starts wearing off after first, second, third year... than moving off campus is step you can take.
Hey! I believe first years have to live in Towers (which includes a mandatory meal plan), and second years + can live in townhouses! However, if you are older than most first years, I think you are able to live in townhouses. The rules have changed from previous years, so I would double check on the website!
Since living in residence, I think the rules have changed. The website currently says third and fourth years are welcomed in townhouses, and second year students can either living in Shell House or Mctaggart-Cowan Hall. I suggested calling or emailing them to see if it's possible!
Do you have a blog. or vlog in youtube to let us know how much does it cost. Dorms available. About living in SFU. and what are cheap in the province. etc etc.
Hope to meet you this Spring on campus or the Town Housee!!! And if possible can you make a video on the student recreation stuff of SFU ?? As in the Gym and pool and other places ?? And if possible and if it’s not much of a hassle then knock me up in my email it’s mimpatwary@gmail.com , I could really use your help
So helpful thank you

Thank you :) Yes! They definitely are. You can always double check by reaching out to residence directly by emailing housing@sfu.ca
Can you make a video on the recreation center of SFU !? I’d need some details on that and the dining hall which I’ll be paying for
Unfortunately I have graduated from SFU already. I have seen some other videos on RUclips about the dining hall. I suggest checking those out :)
Rachel Hoffos congratulations on your grad!!! Hope you’re doing well, your videos always helped so much, now it’s my turn to get out of here ASAP.
