Many decades ago, after years of experimentations I figured out how to do this on my own, but it took a long time.
I forced it with very high pressure and bending form a 45° angle
Now that I return to singing after several decades absence, I have lost the muscle memory of how to do that up to C5
    Can you help?

keep at it..the daily practice will fix it all...It did for me...

Yes! It will take time to get back your range. We don't recommend "forcing" a note though, with the proper blend of resonances any note should be effortless.

May I ask how to make it thicker?
I can make my head voice belty, strong, brash, and nasal, but I could never have that depth and thickness that I hear in singers.
(High Larynx, Open Vowel. Sounds too heady in lower larynx positions)
It goes all the way to E5.

It might be that you’re raising your soft palate too much and the sound is escaping toward the back of the head. I suggest scheduling a free consultation with us so we can hear you sing and determine what’s specifically going on.

Does Brett Manning have anything to do with Singing Success anymore? He doesn't seem to have made any content in many years.

I always find it weird how woman have to belt/mix an octave and a half of range but guys can hit c5 and its considered “high”. I wish there were more instructors teaching men to hit e5s or f5s like alex newell and avery wilson instead of struggling on b4s.

    • @UzairKhan-qd3xu

both of them have a rare voice type which sits higher!

@@UzairKhan-qd3xu avery wilson is definitely a regular tenor. Just bc they sing with high larynxes doesnt mean they are a vocal anomaly.

      I can help with that.
Although I have temporarily forgotten how to belt in head voice, I can give you a simple exercise to give you a very high CT dominant or thin voice much higher.
As a baritone, I’ve can sing the “Galileo “ section in Bohemian Rhapsody, Or the high section of “dream on” by Aerosmith.
this exercise will not improve the quality of your singing overall, but only the raw untrained maximum upper range.
this requires conditioning your vocal cords to be under a high level of stretch, for extended periods of time, (total time under stretch) to condition our nervous system to allow it, much like stretching your hamstrings for high kicking.
Throughout the day, hopefully when no one is listening,... make any kind of extremely high, sustained, very quiet, very soft.
, squeaks or Mouse like Noises
      Eeeeeeeeeeee
      Stay relaxed.
Try to maintain a large vocal stretch, for a long period of time, so that your nervous system get used to that, but don’t put any pressure on your vocal cords by trying to do it loudly, do it VERY quietly, over sustained periods of time like 20 minutes to several hours, just throughout the day.
Filling those ranges with usable singing, is another story.

You realise that there are differences in the physiology of men and women particularly with respect to the vocal apparatus right?

    • @eduardoque2541
      @eduardoque2541 3 года назад

@@mrbouncelol tenors should be able to reach c5-eb5 at least in classical once trained, it is NOT a stretch to belt e5 or f5 for a male. Men typically do not learn how to belt up there but physically they are quite capable as showcased by the thousands of tenors like again avery wilson or even david phelps that utilize high belts. It is so strange we expect woman to be able to have 5 octaves of range but we accept men who have mediocre ass 2 octaves c3-c4 because they sit a little lower.
