Saved the video to playlist. Very helpful. Some skills we get only from others and experience. But i personally feel that Shankar is blessed to have this talent of learning certain life skills very easily and quickly. He knows about constructions and buildings very well, he knows knack of doing business very well, or buying something new like a car. He is basically a detail-oriented person who does detailed research and learns top to bottom about it before committing himself to it.
These are inborn talent that i find only in very few people. Not everyone is gifted.

    Your video is great!
    Bro, your explanations are awesome!
Building a dream home can be a real headache. I get it! we're building our own place. We had high hopes, but every day seems to bring new challenges with the workers. For example, our mason started with experienced guys for two weeks, then they bounced to another project, leaving us with newbies. Similar story with the plumbers and electricians - their work just wasn't up to par. Constant supervision is a must, because frankly, professionalism isn't always a given.
Pre-planning is key too. Even with some knowledge, workers can take advantage of gaps. Your video is fantastic - so informative! Like, today I learned about the separate water tank lines - something I never saw in other houses. Thanks for sharing your expertise!

Hi shankar, the beading which you have used in kitchen countertop to prevent water spillage is a big no no. Initially it might seem like a good idea but overtime as the grout material breaks and water get trapped between the beading the problem starts.Especially the dirty water from sink starts giving a foul smell and it can be never removed unless and untill you break the beading. Water spill can be mopped or whipped but this smell will be big headache on a long run. Fungus starts to develop from this dirty water from sink. It is better to remove it as early as possible.
    Hope this was helpful.

You exactly think like I do. But few thoughts.
Rather then white, you could have chosen ivory for walls inside house.
There are too many switch boards, think in perspective of how many people may live in thst house and how many mobile phones and laptops they might have or charge at one time.
You missed bed side switch box with two way light and fan switches, this is very important as we mostly charge using that.
Heater can have an indicator light on the left, as the light in that switch is very small and go unnoticed at times.
TV needs 2-3 sockets alone in the back and switches kept separately 1 meter away, so that you need not switch off the TV by putting your hand Behind TV every time, and also can hide TV wires.
The problem with this model of door is that it is too light weight, looks great, but feels like it is not strong enough.

Nice info, in the electrical part try to buy reliable products , many buy fake items for cost cutting, if so it will again cause them trouble and spend more to recover.

Hi Shankar, Thank you for sharing. When the first house was built, you mentioned of possibility of extending that house itself. Instead you had opted to built a new house away from existing house, any reasons?

Shankar bro. Just out of nowhere suddenly had a thought. I am sure you would have made research on solar power. You could have made a solar setup since it is a studio building. Why didn't you choose solar? Can you kindly explain in short on the next video?
