Hey you are in luck I’m doing one tomorrow So I will make sure to take very detailed video it’s not a V10 it’s a V8 but the prices is pretty much the same. And if you go to that extent use motor-craft coils and plugs
If you are comfortable with it, would love to hear your back story. When & why you moved to Canada, where you learned your mechanic artistry, your family in Hungary. I enjoy your videos, Many thanks to you.
Yea that’s a good story life to tell for sure Yea I dint have a problem with that Probably needs to be a few videos Thank you will defiantly work on that.
Hey there, loved ur ambo tour on chrome's channel. You offered free advice and I do have a quick question for you sir. I'm a 56-year-old lady in far Northeast Wisconsin. I have a 1990 E350 7.3 l idi diesel no powerstroke ambulance (25 thousand miles on it) I have converted. Yes unusually low miles but it checked out. I've never had a problem starting my vehicle until recently where I try to start it to find the batteries are dead. I have battery warmers wrapped around two brand new motorcraft batteries. I do have shore power and I can plug it in for the trickle charger through the inverter. Sometimes it will last for a day or two and then all of a sudden start to tank. Once the past 2 months it stayed at 12+ volts 4 days. I'm not sure if it's the cold doing this or if there's some parasitic draw I have not figured out yet. I have checked everything I could for parasitic draws. Any suggestions would be greatly greatly appreciated! I'd like to get out into the woods rather than having to use shore power at a small rustic campsite. I carry a noco all the time and lately it's been the only way I can start it when the batteries take a nose dive. Your time is greatly appreciated 🤓 thank you!
Hello This is what I would suggest to do first I would fully charge the batteries to 100% Then monitor see if they get flat. Once they are 100% you can and everything is turned off read the batteries with an Om reader to see if any draw occurs. The only thing can really draw power is your starter that can cause the drain. But that should show up when you read the batteries. And I want you to check when the engine running how much power the alternator puts out it’s very important to To make sure they are not on the way out. Hope this helps any more questions feel free Regards
@@lolesoffroad thank you so much... I don't know how to check the alternator output while running, but I'll figure it out. I've been in diesel crash course school in and under the rig and am not afraid to get dirty. Thanks again sir.. most appreciated! Oh I found out how...that's an easy thing to check... In case anyone else reading this comment needs to know I will paste it below. Use a voltmeter to check your alternator; rev your engine to 2000 RPM, keep the engine running, and test the battery with the voltmeter. If your voltage goes from ~12.2 V to ~13-14.5 V, your alternator is doing well. If your V stays the same or decreases, that's a bad sign.
I have the new bushings but no air chisel. Can I borrow yours? I tried to get the sway bar off but it wouldn't come out because there was no space to pull it. How did you get that part out?
Hey Chico Yes you can borrow mine, Sure hope you not 1000mille away 😎 That comes out ezy, Need to remove the outer tie rod on driver side. Where you located ?
Hi Loren, just subscribed to your channel. I have been watching your work on vancity ambulance and have a question for you. I have a ‘11 sprinter 2500 3.0 (just a bare cargo van) and #4 glow plug is broken off from the tip. Been searching on line how to remove it without complicated tools etc and the dealer wants $ 1500 just to remove it I’m semi disabled and don’t have that kind of money. I already have the part but is there a easy way to remove it ? I would appreciate any ideas you might suggest. Thank you from North Carolina.
Hello thats a steep price for one Brocken glow plug there are extraction tool for this purpose and they are not to expansive. If you have some mechanical ability you can doit yourself , get specific glow plug removal tool for your engine. Hope that this helps , any questions just ask
people are saying your editing is getting better but what about your useless viewpoints? what good is a video of some dudes voice when i need to see the sway bar and axle arms? I learned more about the high quality view of rust then anything. Thanks for wasting my time
