Box stock that dogs got wheels! Better than my Arrma Gorgon was out of the box. Now she's brushless, and I think that dog could easily hit 50 on a brushless system.
Fenton was cool, i liked the fact he stopped chasing when the car stopped, ive seen too many dogs attack them, Fenton was just having a good time. Bless Fenton 👊 Edit; Benson
Ahhh a new Kev rip for Sunday breakfast!! Lol😅😂 I can't believe how quick that wheel packed it in. A good way to sell upgrades for an extra 40 quid. Pro line looking rather amateur.
I had a lady ask me to stop driving my RC car because her dog wouldn’t stop chasing it. I pointed at the sign that said “all pets must be on a leash.” Never seen a wiener dog run so fast
I would love to see you do a series of buying used cars on Facebook marketplace and fixing/doing them up. I've bought 2 nitros and an electric RC (8th scales) and been able to fix them up for less that a tenner each. Could be a fun series!
Hey Kev. You probably get this a lot, but how do you keep track of what screw go where when you are taking apart your cars. I have to take apart my stuff piece by piece or else I forget what screws go where. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Kev and keep up the great work. I always enjoy watching your videos. I’ve been watching for years and will continue to watch for many years to come.
The secret is to categorize them. I leave screws from each part in a separate place. Then those small groups of screws are organized again ie: I keep screws for the front to my left and screws for the rear to my right. If you still can't remember what goes where, get small pieces of paper, note down the part they bolt onto and leave the screws on it
One thing about RC, I will not send it as hard as you guys. Mine is a used xmaxx 6s and pretty happy as I can't even do backflips. The cost of breaking parts I would like to keep it on the minimal. Don't get me wrong my main passion is MTB and I can say I'm not a terrible rider, and I can attest breaking parts on an RC is more than I break on every mountain bike ride 😂.
The hole in the centre must have a very close fit to the thread. I had this issue on some 1/8 buggy wheels, reamed out the centre a bit and BOOM! Fixed.......when the hole is too snug and you do the nut up real tight the plastic squeezes into the thread and they become threaded on, with the hex stopping rotation, fun times! 😆 Edit: Ignore me, got confused with a different video altogether, 🤦♂️ what a pleb I am.
@Pablo668 Yeah, I'd just been watching a video where a guy couldn't get the wheels to come off a Losi LMT, they were pinched onto the threads. Can be a right bugger!
Haha I would never buy their shit. W/ the plastic hex, they’re way heavier, yet weaker somehow. With the metal hex, they’re just significantly heavier than stock and the rims still break where the metal adapter mounts to the wheel hahaha
Great vid, dog was an absolute star, however after seeing the carnage on this RC has discouraged me from buying one, thought Arrma would have learned from the sledge and not made one with the motor wires near the exposed pinion
hey kev, I normally hate like rebuilt videos from other channels, but you make them suuper fun, and also like when you flip the aggadaga like that whoush sound but anyways, stay doing these awesome jobs i love your videos, they are so much fun
Fenton is a PURE BRED GOOD DOG!!! LOVED to chase it but knew to leave it when it stopped. I would bet money he slept REALLY good that night!! ALSO, if you get 3 or 4 doggos to chase its actually pretty funny to watch. You will ALWAYS find a speed demon in the bunch and a yapper/barker in the bunch.
I noticed parts that needed to be drilled to the correct size for fitment. And the drive cups didn't fit. The parts should come out of the wrapper ready to install, insted.of let's make it work. Do any of the aftermarket companies have an engineering department? It doesn't appear to be so.
@robertnewland8358 the Big Rock M2C parts are originally for the 1/7 Mojave and Fireteam. Maybe that has something to do with the parts needing slight modification to fit?
Good to see that they’re using the stronger 29mm diff stuff for the big rock, but unfortunate for you that you have the wrong M2C cups! If you want m2c ones that fit the diff, order them for the Kraton EXB.
I would love to see a video where instead of buying a car, bashing it and then upgrading it. I’d love to see you just buy all the upgraded parts and build a car from scratch and then show us the cost difference and how much better the upgrades are from the beginning!
Thank you kev for the time and money you put into your vids for us and all the camera work you put in while you build most RUclips channels I watch don’t do it the same way you do 😊
Wow Kev, that big rock looks spectacular! Love the content, hope to see more on that bigrock. Also, do you plan on doing an arrma outcast or kraton 4s build?
So much fun Kev! You kept Benson running like crazy and what a cool dog! I wish mine would run like that and I can keep him fit while driving my RC Toys! haha 😂
Pro line makes good tires but you actually "need" the aluminium adapter, the plastic one breaks really easy. That makes them very expensive. I also broke 2 plastic adapter the first time i got pro line tires
Rather have a < $10 component break that takes less than 10 minutes to fix than an arm or hinge pin. Alloy will just stress those weak arrma inner hub bearings and yes they’re cheaper but longer labor/downtime. Personally use 0-offset adapters for more rigidity on those Raid wheels.
Impressive for the stock dog doing 27mph.
Needs high peed pinion gears.
My friends dog could clear a huge double lol
The dogbone shafts are holding up well on the little fella too!
NO NO, It needs the high speed paws drive legs added!!

Glad it wasn’t just me then
new truck from arrma, the Fenton 😂
Bring out the slash 4x4 again and make it handle 8s!
I second this, he ran it on 6s back in 2018.
or we can ask kev to make a fully custom udr, like all plastic stuff becomes metal and a custom painted body?
I wouldn't be surprised if Proline changed their plastic formula to make manufacturing cheaper after they were bought by Horizon.
Horizon doing horizon things as always
Proline is shit lol
It didn't used to be.@@FilthUD
@@cbrduck7846 Proline wheels sucked back in the 90's back in the RC10 days and often required modifying to make fit properly.

The part with the dog was brilliant. He needs to be part of the crew permanently
Great rebuild truck looked awesome those HPI bodies are hard to beat! The doggo 🐶 was a cute one!

you are really good 😊 😊😂
I love kevin!! $1000 in upgrades. Hammer slams a bent drive shaft!😂
The doggo speed test is a welcome addition
I betcha that doggo slept all the way home in the car after that work out!
Guess it had to be all worn out after that round in the park.

It was cool seeing Fenton chasing the RC cars
To be fair most of this damage probably happened after the first break and kev went into "ITS GETTING IT NOW!!" mode.
😂
Might be true but gotta get the footage 😂

That’s awesome 😂
Well done Kev!!!!! I hate when you strip out a hex, it's the worst!!!!!!!!
Llama tough, baby!
I like how Kevin's upgrades are always complete rebuilds. Keep it up Kev. The O.G. of rc
Arrma should give Keven a Job fixing their bent chassis. Only Kevin can fix the defects with a bash session. 😂
Have you ever thought about opening up your own RC store? You obviously have the knowledge, and experience.
I would love to see you do a series of buying used cars on Facebook marketplace and fixing/doing them up. I've bought 2 nitros and an electric RC (8th scales) and been able to fix them up for less that a tenner each. Could be a fun series!
M2C make amazing parts it's now looks good, fast and tuff for sure it's at least 200% better than stock.
Haha when the owner yelled at the dog 😂

Was digging the video then the dog chasing the cars made me so happy my parents dog loves chasing my rc when I go visit them.
I don’t think anyone has had as much fun with rc , Benson sets the mark 🤣❤️
Taking the bumper was a great move. Helped that body big time
Nice result with all the upgrades. Those wheels though, unusual for Proline to be so crap. Gotta love a doggo!

Removing the washers for the front drive shafts is what I did on my kraton & it worked. No more shafts popping out.
Killer build and bash!!!! nobody does it like you bro!!!! straitest stock chassis Ive ever seen!
The Proline hex breaking and stripping that quickly is hilarious, definitely not trying to push their upgrade to sell you more stuff 🤔

you should review a traxxas slash 2wd please kev
Look back the video's it's been done a few times, Kevin not a lover of 2WD.
6:40 "it fits but it's a touch too short" THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!
What a beautiful dog! And he seemed respectful of the Pro Lines! Good boy!
Looks like it's tired of being strong, I really like it

All these M2C parts probably cost as much as the the original truck itself. Its a beautiful beast now tho.

Probably my favourite build and colour so far Kev!
M2c do metel hexs for the prolines. A arrma super basher bumper might work well and the broken wires were a great excuse to give it a max 6 g2
