A bonus tip from the guy that doesn't know shit: You can tech roll certain throws! Namely Nina's Neck Throw and King's Giant Swing. They deal bonus damage if the opponent fails to do a tech roll when they hit the ground. However, you'll eat the full damage if you are thrown against a wall as you cannot tech roll then.

No, he's not, because he can't control his temper and doesn't even try to. If someone's ingesting this material, it's not beneficial to see a presenter getting distracted and angry about everything, snapping like a thin branch. I don't see it benefiting the material, or fueling it. Teacher has to work on his body as much as on his mind, cause they're heavily tied together. Being THAT anxious is not a "personality", it's something that's genuinely bothering the man and he translates it further. It's no way to live, it's not sustainable, it takes its toll after years. Composure is a huge component of power and wisdom. It's fixable, it's workable with diet/favorite exercise/exploring your deficiencies (so brain and body and gut bacteria stop playing mind tricks on you), but the whole system here is seemingly set up just to avoid that at all costs. Can't blame, really, can only wish him better. I still honestly don't think it's an example of good teaching, and solely because of that, but I also honestly wish the man to conquer that height as well.

Smash players should actually be used to staying grounded (we can't lie down indefinitely, but we can for a pretty long time) but no matter what getup you use in smash you are always voulnerable to a tech chase. It's cool that in tekken you can completely reset by teching quick back, makes it easy for us noobs.

Other tutorials I've watched labelled as "for beginners" are like "Yeah, so with Asuka you want to remember that her backflip crushes lows and you can follow up with ffd2+3 4 7q into flubber slide and that will let you engoubriate Yoshimitsu's helicopter dick. And now for some intermediate stuff...."

Meh new players getting on T7 got it easy now. Oki is nerf now so there's not too much risk unless you at the wall. But one of the safest way to get up is to side roll then back roll. Tech roll is good also but you don't want to get up too quickly into another mix up.
If anyone is here looking for a way to roll either way and still stay grounded its tap 1 to roll into the background and then hold down to roll into the foreground its Down 1 and hold down to stay grounded

I've been playing since TK3 as well , ive been messing around with Jin lately and he's a lot of fun to play with but I wanna say I'm decent with him just pulling a few combos here and there but he's basically my top main out of the characters and ive also been playing a little bit of Eliza as well. overall just get comfortable with whoever you like.

it seems that the wake up low kicks are effective for noobs since the enemies dont stop mashing so you can always hit them with the kick
