What a great adventure! Smiled at $1,000.00 delivery, my estimate to get one shipped from Quebec to the Yukon was between $14,000.00 and $20,000.00. Not bad considering. It was a 10.5 by 38. It is so great the way you take us along on this journey and having your friend to share this with you is just the icing on the cake.
Just discovered your videos yesterday !!!! Absolutely love them. I've been intrigued with tiny homes for about 5 years now and am so happy to have access to "Canadian" content. I live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) and I know of a very few tiny home communities in Ontario and truly hope that they become more popular. I think it's a fantastic option for older people who don't need a lot of space and want to experience a different lifestyle. Keep up the great work - we're lucky to have you!!!

Just "downsized" to a 4 bed 2 bath home of which 3 bedrooms remain closed off and the formal lounge room is seldom used. So much waste. I look forward to maybe downsizing yet again and get my dream of a tiny home on wheels. In the meantime I can enjoy and get ideas from people like yourself. Thank you for sharing this with us all. 🧡

This wasFun to see... reminds me of when we built a Modular home back in the 80s... watching your home driving down the road was surreal 😳... more nerve racking though was watching it hang 30 feet in the air when they picked it up with a crane off the flatbed to put it on the foundation 🥴... definitely an experience not everyone has! Financing and insurance to have that done was a nightmare! Lol.. all worked out in the end. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Just found you and LOVE your posts.. I occasionally use my 1967 Shasta star flight which is only 17 feet long and just find such delight and not having a bunch of stuff around me and I seem to cook more delicious meals in that tiny space in my big house hope you keep on going
Totally get you and the decisions you have made for yourself. I totally agree that a goal without a plan goes nowhere. The plan must be made to achieve any goal. I think you made the best decision for yourself and at times I envy that. I truly enjoy your videos and look forward to your future adventures. I am a subscriber but I have never really commented much. I am starting the price of building one for myself. Watching your videos I have actually decided on some changes on my plans. Good thing I was the designer and have a degree I architecture so I can do that myself. Right now all I have is a trailer. So I can still make changes. Construction will commence I the spring.

Congratulations on your new tiny home. Was wondering about the type of flooring required since you have no basement or foundation. Surly there is some kind of insulation between the flooring and the thrfloor of the trailer. Do you have ceramic tiles or hardwood? Do you have infloor heating?
Hi Sheila, my floor is well insulated with closed cell spray foam. Also, the underside of the trailer is sheathed with tin so no critters or moisture can get in. The skirting around the foundation also helps to create an insulated air space. The flooring inside is laminate. I find it warm. Then again, I wear slippers just like when i was in my condo, LOL.😁
Professional drivers and installers are a must.
But your fabulous friend is the best.
