I started watching you on RUclips a few weeks ago & I’m learning things so much from you. Knowing you have a ton of videos I can now enjoy your program everyday.
This weeks challenge has been accomplished. I just did this around Christmas time. I was sick of wondering where those pair of scissors were or now I have to rummage through all this to find this ruler so I got all my gear out, checked through it and bought a revolving desk organiser with four compartments in it to place all my scissors, rotary cutters, measuring tools, seam rippers etc. Now I know where everything is and at the end of the day it all goes back into the container. Then I bought some command hooks and hung up my rulers. Phew, now everything is at my fingertips and I love it. If I were the envious type I would envy your scissor collection. I do have what I need though. I love Karen Kay Buckley scissors too. I have one pair and have the blue ones on order, coming some time end of this month or beginning of April. See you next week.
I love the ideas about using a revolving desk organizer and command hooks. Great tips! My scissor collection was ridiculous, and, if I am being honest, I still have too many pairs of scissors. I think I have to make a second (or third!) pass. See you next week were we are tackling pins, needles, clips, and more!
Good advice, I have a hard job throwing things out that don't work, it's the hope they might again one day :) The scissors usually go into the kitchen for opening packets etc. Habits, more good advice and the quick tidy at night, totally agree. I only have one ruler unused and it is for drawing circles on fabric, one day I am going to love it 😁 so it's staying. Thanks so much, Bless. Ps I quilt upstairs and hand sew down stairs, so I do need at least 2 of everything, and I love the carry bag.
I love your videos, especially this series, great tips! I’m doing this now with my craft stuff and I’m trying to stay on track with my sewing stuff.❤️❤️❤️
Yay! So happy to see you are enjoying the videos! I have a list of the weekly tasks on my blog, if you would like to download it (free). Hope it helps!
We must be kindred spirits! Even after cleaning out, I still have so much! I feel better when I get it out of my room, but gosh, it is so hard to part with some things, especially things that I spend a lot of money on. Sigh. We will get there! There's hope! (Siden ote: next week we are talking about pins, needles, etc. I thought I had a lot of scissors! EEK!) Thanks for watching and commenting!

I recognize so much of me in this video... not the good 'get organized' part, but the 'have too many tools' part. :)

I've got to stop rescuing old sewing machines and spinning wheels !
You and me both! Well, not the spinning wheels (yet) but definitely the sewing machines!
