Good day gentle sawyers A question, how long does it take to fill the dust house? With that , could you have the company that takes the dust put a bin in the dust house and swap it out as needed?
There can be NO better video than seeing Mark's Man Glitter hoard savagely pillaged. I'm going to call PETA on all those commenters who subject the Dog-Cam to Cruel & Unusual textual punishment. It's a poor defenseless companion Dog-Cam for G sake. When Mark's sight begins to fail him, it can easily be a Seeing-Eye Dog-Cam.
I really love your random sawing videos... great variety and interesting. How are your sawdust kittens doing? Are they still nesting in the pit? Wishing you, Eddie and your families a blessed week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings. Peace brother
Dumb question: you've never gone back and painted the bare wood on the mill shed etc. Paint over wood is a way to stop rot and not just for appearance. Why no paint? I know you can cut your own replacement wood but labor still is required for tear-off and replacement. Also: a lot of municipalities give away free paint. It's what they recover on recycling days. They mix like types together (latex, oil base etc) and the end result always comes out beige but hey,it's free.
HI MARK have U ever seen or heard a regular GM DIESEL 671 W straight exhaust U talk about sounding good it would sound good then they are better like that they sing 2 U then every time U saw a line 😊 mark was there any sawmills close by where U grew up from the time U were a kid until later on let me know thank U 😊 OMG 5 18 2O23
My tractor club, I & I Antique Tractor & Gas Engine Club, Penfield Illinois, has a sawmill we use during our tractor shows in the summer. The Amish buy our sawdust for bedding their draft horses.
My grand parents had several Honeylocust trees on their farm. Nasty, Godawful trees with thorns all over the trunk. It would spark and pop when put in the fireplace.
Hey Mark.... your videos are great! Was wondering if you could occasionally say how old you think some of those logs are? Especially the bigger ones, Thanks
Mark's Gratuitous Plug: "We'll wait til it's smaller and more manageable."....manageable like my luxurious locks, due to Galicic's Man Glitter Scalp Stimulant, rub it in or sprinkle on your bowl of JD soaked Wheaties every morning, high in fiber too.
It seems like a short time from finding your channel through otw. Watching you guys setting up the Mill the roof that seemed to never end. Bringing buzz ZZ and pastor Mark too your Collab with nutz319 and I for one can't wait for more. Just one more thing COMMENT 😅. As always good luck and God bless and stay safe out there.
My Dad and his nephew (Mum did a lot of the measuring and carrying) cut logs for a steam powered sawmill in the Central West of Queensland Australia. In the late 1950s, and into the 1960s I was his measurer and stamper and carrier of tools, petrol, (Gas) Oil. He may be way out of sight in the next gulley, when the saw stopped suddenly, the sound still echoing around the hills, I knew he needed Hammer and wedges! If it seemed to run better, then splutter to a stop, he needed fuel, if it backfired and carried on, he needed the sparkplug spanner. Mid 1960s I worked in Town, and the mill whistle could be heard all over town, sounding out the start time, lunch time and knockoff time. Keep up the good work Mike, you and your team breathe new life into the old game. I find myself coming back to watch the teamwork over and over. God Bless. Timothy, otherwise known as Ted.
Really enjoyed the sawdust cam. That was a great camera angle! During normal weeks of sawing, approximately how long does it take to fill your sawdust containment building? Just curious. Thanks also for the honey locust sawing video. That was some beautiful lumber!
Ok here is my bull for the day!! Big cat generator bye Detroit. All overhead flat belt driven. A pellet maker for those. O and I love watching thanks guys more than you ever know!❤ I am dizzy now. Lol
Them is nice boards coming off , it’s hard work sitting hear eating blue cheese and Italian bread sticks with me brew , that agent has lost eleven customers after what they did to me ,day off tomorrow going to the auction machinery sale I’ve got couple of pieces in and I’ve got my eye on couple of bits I like auctions it’s a social day out meet friends and find out what’s going on locally, you guys have nice day
We used to get wood shavings from a planing mill and used them in our barn. They were stored in a silo and we simply backed under it, opened a chute and they pretty much self loaded.
Here is a note on loading a dumpster !! Load toward the front and alternate from one end to the other and the center will take care of its self !!!!😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍good afternoon everyone 😊
TANKS, Mark and Lewie McNeely DOES love the bus motor speaking with authority! Reminds me of the old days in the Corn Popper with the 9-speed O.D. box and the mixer on the back, the R-22 boulder hauler and the round cab White van box powder wagon with the 10-speed, all with 6-71's. NOW I watch the grass clippings fly! Have a FINE Weekend and God Bless Yall! Good saw dust loader video, by the way!
Hi Mark, I've been watching for close to a year now. Whatever made you decide to do YT? Did you ever imagine that people would love it this much? I can't miss any of your videos. Thank you.
thanks Becca , I will have to tell the story about what started my YT channel . I never thought this many people would enjoy watching me saw logs , I love what we do and all the people that support us.
I think I got to your channel from another of the bus motor repair stuff channels...but then I also watch Sawing with Sandy so maybe RUclips recommended because your channel had a bus motor wood saw...combined both interests.
@@markgalicic7788 wonderful at least its not going to the landfield i just know that pellet stoves and grills are on the rise and a bag of them is around 17 bux at lowes. but if you could corner your local market + more money in your pocket (the little man )
About 30 years ago, I earned a degree in music. As someone with multiple years experience with multiple instruments, I can definitively say that there are types of music that I do not like. Hip Hop, and Rap. Personally, I consider the two to be mutually exclusive terms with "music", but sadly, I have kids and nephews that like it, as do some of my grandkids. While this playing music is NOT of either type, someone out there likes it, and to each their own.
My brother is a truck driver and he hauls sawdust every day from a local lumber factory. That log maxed out your blade. It is always good to see you. I wish that my health would let me work. Smoke from the Canada fires is making its way down here in Wisconsin. 😯😯😯😯
Good day gentle sawyers

LOGS TO SAWDUST, THAT BIG SAW DOES IT ALL...LOL..KEEP SAFE..
thanks Bob , nothing goes to waste.
I dont know what it is, but theres something calming & fascinating about making little 'stuff' out of big stuff.
Thanks, crew, keep up the piece-work.
thanks Gary , glad you like it.

If the master dog rules, then the smaller dogs must be the pack!👍🏽😁
So would you say 5hat when they are used it is a pack attack?
Guys, I really enjoy your videos. I've gotten good at guessing where Mark will start and which face he will cut next. Make for a fun little game.
Thank you mark thank you Eddie thank you guys for another good show thumbs up
In a future video would you be willing to explain the different board thicknesses and why 4/4 is thicker than an inch?
It's not.
I sure will , the industry standard on 4/4 rough cut hardwood is 1-1/8" thick .
Another awesome video
thank you.
I see several pieces of MDF being loaded there... LOL. Just need the glue.
Enjoyed as usual thanks for sharing God Bless all oh you!!
Is the sawdust sent to a wood pellet factory?

When loading saw dust you should start inthe front of the box an work your way back. I loaded many of thoses boxes
......and position the dumpster a little CLOSER - you'll save on diesel for the loader - don't you agree ?
yes a tight area to load.
Excellent "variety" Video!!!😎😎👌👌Didn't know honey locust could be so big & beautiful!

no because we have many people buying it off us .
Hey Mark. Did you give the rainex trick I suggested to you? If so... how is it working out on your saw cab windows?
no just plexiglass cleaner.
