Session 12: July 3 - 4, 1863 (Turns 28 - 29)
This series records the weekly live play of Ken Lee's "Grand Campaign" of 'The Long Roads to Gettysburg', which he created and has organized into a Multiplayer event. This campaign covers the post-Chancellorsville efforts by Robert E. Lee and the Army of Northern Virginia during the complete months of June and July, 1863.
Playing weekly on Vassal, Patrick Pence, Christian Knudsen, and Ken Lee take the Union, versus the Confederate forces commanded by Dave Cross, Clyde Longest, and Dennis Mason. Observe the operational and logistical challenges of these two critical months during the American Civil War, unfolding in each episode!
Ken has expanded the nature of the Advanced Campaign games from GCACW to include specific and detailed Random Events, Communications limitations, Supply, and Operational/Passive phases for both armies.
