I’d go the Eminem Show for Eminems best, it has so much variety; dark personal tracks like cleaning out my closet, social commentary on tracks like White America and funny tracks like drips, I even like the melodic part on “Haileys song”
Eminem Show is also my favorite. Especially because the album is 95% Eminem in terms of the production. The MMLP is classic because it's him, hungry and in his prime. The darkest and angriest and some of his best writing. Add Dr. Dre production and you got a classic.
MMLP in terms of writing I feel like is on another level to TES. He found a way to write from the perspective of slim shady in the perfect theatrical way. And his flows were so good.
I think circles is macs best album and his worst is blue side park. Circles is such a comforting experience and has gotten me through the past year. Cant wait to hear you guys speak on mac miller in depth

Idk if this is unpopular but I Am > I Was is my favorite 21 Savage album. It’s what really got me into his music. I think this album was his evolution album. His flow, lyrics, everything just totally upgraded. It’s the one 21 album I have on vinyl so I’ll always have a soft spot

Is it okay for Donda to be my favorite Ye album?? Registration was my first. My brother played it over and over in our Pontiac Bonneville for years. We have quoted the skits our whole life it feels. When I was a freshman in high school MBDTF came out and I played it in my car for like 2 years straight. Made my entire high school listen to it when everyone only listened to Eminem and Lil Wayne some Drake as well. I still love it. And with those 2 eras alone cemented Kanye as the most important contemporary artist of my life and top 3 favorite of all time, across all genres. I went through a rough patch getting into my later 20s.. I stopped listening to music for years. Killing myself with alcohol. 6 year relationship with terrible breakup. Kanye was in my life though as a celebrity and just in the news for going through so much pain it seemed like. I reinvented myself in 2023. The best year of my life. Next to 2016. the year of TLOP. I love that album. Anyway I started listening to music again in 2023 and I finally listened to donda. And I can’t stop. There are a few tracks on there I listen to more or less every day for months now.. so as of right now it’s my favorite!! I can’t help it.
