It's not that underrated imo alot of people rave about it. It's the "I swear I have obscure music taste" album for rap bros. It's really good but I think deathgrips just does Yeezus better than Yeezus it's just less accessable.

It’s a pretty okay run but it does nothing to argue the idea that Em still can’t come close on a complete project that even compares to the original trilogy of albums. Utopia is a good album, but there is just no denying astroworld had that instant hit feeling the second you’d put it on. It’s 17 tracks with arguably not a single miss. Astroworld is still yet to be topped on Travis discography
Astroworld is definitely topped by rodeo. Astroworld is great but rodeo is one of the best trap albums of all time. For me utopia is on par with Astro cuz I just loved the darkness and I think utopia has far better performances by Travis while I think for the most part astroworld gets carried by features except for songs like sicko mode, astrothunder, and no bystanders.
I always find it weird when people say, “this album has no misses,” but I feel like that can’t be true. Not everyone is going to agree that an album is skipless, so I don’t get why people spend their time commenting that. With that being said I think Yosemite, who what!, Houstonfornication and coffee bean are all skips for me so imo not a skipless album.

Its been getting mote love now, but still a little bit underrated. This is Ye's best solo albums from the 2010s. MMLP2: overhated and underrated. The amount of people I see hating on this album is weirdly high. Its not em's best work but it still has some good songs. MMLP2 is his most diverse sounding album. We have a stylish slice from everything he has done through his career there.(I honestly don't get the hate for the Rap-Rock influenced songs) Also his pen game was mindblowing it's his best album lyrically.

I’m going to have to disagree with Luca, this album is definitely not Travis’s worst studio album, that belongs to Birds, no disrespect to birds because it’s such an amazing album, but utopia is much more fascinating, unique, different, and brings a much better aesthetic that you can feel throughout the whole album. While I don’t know if I can say it’s better than Astroworld, I think it’s easily tied. It’s just such a different crazy beautiful album with a much more central focus on Travis and his rapping and producing abilities.

Till this day i don't understand why these guys hate the MMLP2 so much and MTBMB they are decent albums and not bad like revival or other rap albums, I do kinda agree that MMLP2 is a bit better and slowly becoming a classic as far as closing eminems story with the Slim Shady person. MTBMB is eminem having fun and tapping in modern rap the album has no story but still is good probably his best ever since revival.
MMLP 2 has Rap God which I'm not crazy about the song itself but the technical ability is insane. Legacy which is an easy top 10 all time Em songs for me. Headlights is absolutely beautiful. The Monster is great idc what anyone says. Also a worthy sequel to one of the greatest hip hop songs of all all time in stan. It's the furthest thing from an overrated album, if anything it's criminally underrated.

The point of MMLP is to represent what Eminem wants to say in what style he's into, it was never supposed to sound like the original. Because Eminem's music is for the most part not repetitive Y'all hate new eminem because he sounds different and ain't the same artist you admire, or you just mad about revival so you hate everything he put up since then + recovery and MMLP It's not one of his best imo, but you can't say it's overrated just because it's an eminem album you didn't like. Been blasting Renaissance the last couple weeks…what an album! You guys gotta give it a go in the gym or in the car! So many great songs, impeccable production by Mike Dean, The Dream, Skrillex, Syd and so many others! Cozy, Alien Superstar, Cuff It, Energy into Break My Soul, Plastic off the Sofa, Virgos Groove, Heated, Summer Renaissance all instant classic summertime bangers!
If MMLP2 had don't front, wicked ways and groundhog day instead of stronger than I was, the monster, and asshole, it would have been an 8 or 8.5 for me. Right now it's maybe a 7. If Em really wanted to have a female pop song on his album, then even "beautiful pain" would have been a much better choice than "the monster". And I think Rap God is actually a really good song. Great beat, chorus and bars from Em. It DOES NOT fit into the lyrical miracle category (even though it inspired a lot of it). And so far is such a fun song. Uncommon Fantano W

Bad takes on MMLP2. First, if the album had a different name, people wouldn't hate it as much, you hate it because of dumb expectations related to the title. Second, yes, it is a good album and the best Eminem album after the big three (SSLP, MMLP and TES). I’m going to have to disagree with Luca, this album is definitely not Travis’s worst studio album, that belongs to Birds, no disrespect to birds because it’s such an amazing album, but utopia is much more fascinating, unique, different, and brings a much better aesthetic that you can feel throughout the whole album. While I don’t know if I can say it’s better than Astroworld, I think it’s easily tied. It’s just such a different crazy beautiful album with a much more central focus on Travis and his rapping and producing abilities.

Till this day i don't understand why these guys hate the MMLP2 so much and MTBMB they are decent albums and not bad like revival or other rap albums, I do kinda agree that MMLP2 is a bit better and slowly becoming a classic as far as closing eminems story with the Slim Shady person. MTBMB is eminem having fun and tapping in modern rap the album has no story but still is good probably his best ever since revival.
MMLP 2 has Rap God which I'm not crazy about the song itself but the technical ability is insane. Legacy which is an easy top 10 all time Em songs for me. Headlights is absolutely beautiful. The Monster is great idc what anyone says. Also a worthy sequel to one of the greatest hip hop songs of all all time in stan. It's the furthest thing from an overrated album, if anything it's criminally underrated.

So many great songs, impeccable production by Mike Dean, The Dream, Skrillex, Syd and so many others! Cozy, Alien Superstar, Cuff It, Energy into Break My Soul, Plastic off the Sofa, Virgos Groove, Heated, Summer Renaissance all instant classic summertime bangers!

If MMLP2 had don't front, wicked ways and groundhog day instead of stronger than I was, the monster, and asshole, it would have been an 8 or 8.5 for me. Right now it's maybe a 7.
If Em really wanted to have a female pop song on his album, then even "beautiful pain" would have been a much better choice than "the monster".
And I think Rap God is actually a really good song. Great beat, chorus and bars from Em. It DOES NOT fit into the lyrical miracle category (even though it inspired a lot of it).

Bad takes on MMLP2. First, if the album had a different name, people wouldn't hate it as much, you hate it because of dumb expectations related to the title. Second, yes, it is a good album and the best Eminem album after the big three (SSLP, MMLP and TES). Eminem raps his ass off on this album, and I'm not talking about rapping fast, I'm talking about bars, rhyme schemes, flows, etc. You're nitpicking a bunch of shit about the album like, what's the problem with him doing a Yoda impression? And how exactly did it not age well? I never get this complaint about music. To me if something sounded good when I first heard it, it will still sound good if I revisit it later. Regardless, like I said, it's a good album and I will always defend it. Evil Twin best song btw.

Mmlp2 is not overrated, i'd rather say it's underrated than overrated, i know so many people praise it but in my opinion it deserves even more praise. I would really want to try to convince y'all that it's really good and i want y'all to see why it is my favourite Eminem album, but i know it's really hard to change someone's opinion, like how no one will ever convince me that the album is bad and i will always defend it.
Also, you're really using yoda voice as an argument to bring down the "rapping at a 100%" argument? Plus he did it on relapse on buffalo bill too, but you praise the shit out of the album and you never mentioned that it brings the rapping quality down or something.
Also also "he's not saying much he's just rapping fast" have you paid attention to the lyrics at all? The concept of mmlp2 is to cover the topics he talked about on mmlp and to show how he feels about them now and how they have changed or not changed in 13 years, it's not suppposed to sound the same as the first one since it came out almost a decade and a half later, it has some nostalgia based songs, but it was mostly Eminem rapping about old topics in a new way, and that's why i liked it.
Its a really good album. Its funny cause i dident like it when it came out, but now i Think its his last really good album! Really enjoyable album aswell
