Thanks, Steve. I'm helping a friend who is 87 and having difficulty seeing what's on his screen. I really appreciated your easy tips about 4 finger tap, backwards Z and turning VoiceOver on/off with 3 taps on the power button. I didn't realize you could double-tap anywhere on the screen to open after finding what you're looking for. Great tips! Thank you.

Thanks again Steve , is anyone have suggestions for a case for my iPhone 11 ?I need something that won’t let me press both side buttons whenever I pick up the phone or pull out of my pocket, etc.

I have a cover where the phone sits inside but then has a flap that goes around to cover the front. Therefore it covers at least one of the buttons. Don’t know if that would be any good for you. They are fairly common. Thanks for watching the video. Have a great day!

Hey Terry thanks for watching. I was trained by Guide Dogs here in Australia and I would suggest you try to get some professional training as well. I have some more Voiceover videos coming up but there’s also an app that you can download called VO Starter that is a tutorial. Good luck getting your head around it all. You’ll get there. Cheers

@@stevefoxyorktheguidedog4350 thanks so much Steve, thats very much appreciated. I will approach Guide Dogs here in the Uk and see what and if they can offer this, as well as another organisation I have in mind.
I didn't know about the VO training app either, so, will deffo give that a go. Once again, hanks so much Steve

Hello Steve. On my updated iPhone 7 Plus, read from top is activated with a two finger swap from the top, not from the bottom. Like you, since I discovered this it has made a huge difference.

Hi Adam, yes it’s definitely very helpful. For me to finger swipe from the top will read everything from where you are on the screen. Two finger swipe up will read everything on the screen from the top of the screen if that makes sense. I use them both depending on what I’m doing. If it’s an email for example and I don’t want to read all the addresses etc. I will find the start of the message and then use the two finger swipe down. Either one is very useful. Thanks for watching. Cheers!

Steve, thanks for clarifying the difference between the two finger slide up and slide down. I really enjoy watching you and York, you guys do great together. I self trained my guide dog, a wonderful Doberman pincher named Freyja, Who a lost a couple of years ago at age 12. I have applied to a guide dog school for another one, but it will be a while, as I am very partial to the Doberman breed. Thanks for the videos, and keep up the great work. I will definitely keep watching you guys, as I relate to you so much.

@@adamlawler5952 thanks heaps. I’m really glad you like the videos. Sorry to hear about the loss of your guide. It must’ve been a very special bond hopefully you won’t have to wait too long. I really appreciate your support and we will try to keep making content in the New Year. Hopefully next year will be a little better than last. All the best. Cheers!

Hello I came across your video I have a Samsung phone older one and it has talkback on it and it doesn't have alot for low vision or blind. Am blind in right eye and going blind in left. Is the voice over on iphone better? Any advice would be great.

@@brandie961 i've never used an android phone. But I can definitely recommend Apple. The accessibility is great. You probably will need some lessons to get you started. But most blind organisations can help you there. Do your own research. But I can definitely recommend Apple.
