Potential stupid question, but I’m going to ask anyway, because I’ve not got a clue. Can patio slabs/paving stones always be layed right up to the house, irrespective of what material they are made from? If so, is there any special divider between the slabs and bricks of the house, or is it just the bedding mix/mortar that contacts the bricks of the house?
Always pave up to house as long as you don’t need a aco yes correct otherwise water will settle by the house foundations and that’s not good. So your good to go 👍🏴
Hi mate a little off subject but I’ve been looking for black porcelain but struggling to find them. All the ones I come across lean towards anthracite. Any suggestions where the closest to black ones I can get?

Your plan though, just a thought but Kent has plenty of need for bespoke pizza ovens and similar things. If you're not rooted down, higher population density could give you more jobs than you can handle. Be a great loss to the industry if you had to completely quit 👍
