For those wondering why this arc is so early and similar to the original, it’s because I have way more planned beyond the generation 8 mainline story. Using this as the climax was personally boring to me and wouldn’t have challenged me as a writer. So I hope you still enjoy this and whatever comes next!

I hope Ash's Lucario receives mega evolution like in canon. And Goh's Cinderace gets Gigantamax to be even more better than the original series.
Galar is one of my favourite regions. I like the story, the villains, everything.
If only Peonie from the Crown Tundra appeared to confront Rose in canon so that he would appear here. The drama with the voice acting would be phenomenal.

So am I going crazy or did Rose's eyes turn purple? If it was because of Etrnatis then it was a subtle move.
It was more of a mental thing to show his resolve. But I guess if you want an in universe reason the abundance of gmax energy might have affected his vision.

Well now this is cool. I am curious to see how things play out now that Rose has been defeated.
Also I do wonder if after your Journey Rewrite maybe you can do a video on what a Canon version of the film I Choose You would look like. This was inspired by how Netflix inculded Distant Blue Sky in To Be A Pokémon Master. Some ideas could inculde the return of the GS Ball and finally fullfilling the orignal plan for it. Also I am even thinking about the villains being villains from the Gold and Silver Manga. They are the Masked Man, or Mask Of Ice as he is also called, and Neo-Team Rocket (I am not sure if it should be Pryce or not, but if it ends up being him, either A. He is manipulated by Giovani to do it in exchange for the power to prevent him from intially losing Piloswine and thus keeping him from becoming the cold person he was for all these years, or B. He would be under some sort of mind control device that is making think he is working for Team Rocket under his own free will for the same motive. As for Neo-Team Rocket they are presented here as a specal unit for Team Rocket called the Neo Unit, though the trio call them the Mask Brigade due to their mask theme.)

I like that you kept the theme of Lucario and Cinderace evolving at the same time and had both Ash and Goh together to witness it. Is this the final part of the first season or is there one more?
One more part. Season 2 is coming out end of July and will be going through till late September or early October don’t know off the top of my head 😅.
I’m surprised they’re doing this so early. Oh well.
