I think you can make same thing by just build segement as surface, cut extra faces out with scissor tool than thicken to desired value and convert it into sheet metal part.
Ohh I hadn't notice the convert to sheet metal works better now, I think convert needed a flat part of the sheet metal previously? (or I'm geting old).
In my design, I have unfolded one segment to cut out a pattern, however when I refold it and activate the flat pattern fusion will not let me export it as a dxf. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong? I need to have the dxf template with my extrusions.
Sheet metal is a bit sensitive if you break the rules. But you get the flat pattern and it will not export? If possible ask the question on Facebook or Reddit and include the file for people tio have a look at it. I'ts not possible to troubleshoot without the file.
Thank you. with you Fusion 360 easier than drinking water

I did a run with surface tools and I get the same problem with flat pattern failing if the surface arc i 180 deg, other then that it works perfect :)
I thought so too ) But just tried - it works. @@KristianLaholm
