Even though i don't have a paid version to use the arrange tool, just being able to merge all my flat patterns into one document was good enough for what i needed to be able to use an external nesting tool. Thanks!!
I thank you for this great info. I tried it successfully, with one minor problem. I plasma cut a flat pattern with writing, and your method placed it face down, which caused all the dross to be on the exposed printed side. I haven’t been able to figure out how flip it over. Any suggestions?

In Arrange/Objects/Component there is an icon to the right of each Component which will flip the part.
Does Arrange support multiple sheets? I would prefer to populate all sheets at one time for the best selection and spacing.
No, the command does not support multiple independent sheets
