I was given a very special baby girl. My only child. She is very much like a baby bird. Helpless. Completely dependent on the few people in this world that love her. When she sees me cooking her breakfast, she swings her arms and pats her tray. When I approach her with food, she opens her mouth and waits for me to feed her. When she needs to be changed, or wants me to turn on her show, she will tug my shirt. She can’t speak to us. She can’t process spoken language at all. She finds other ways to communicate. This is not what my wife and I thought parenthood would be. But we would never regret it. We were born to care for this helpless child and give her a happy and amazing life that she can’t provide for herself.
that poop sac is actually nutritious for the mom. It is not digested all that well in the baby bird, so it serves as extra nutrients for mom. Nature has sure got this wrapped up !
The parents don't actually eat the poop, they store it in the same place they store bugs for their children, they then fly a good distance from the nest to drop it. This way its scent doesn't alert predators nor will the poo attract parisites into the nest.
Recycling a Nutritional Snack The best guess-the one with the most research-is that birds eat fecal sacs because nestling poop serves as a nutritional treat (a trait known as coprophagia). “Parents will eat the feces because the nestlings cannot completely digest the food that they eat,” Ibáñez-Álamo says.
Nature is so amazing, momma feeds the baby...the baby gets fed and blends us the food into sacks of nutrients for mom, so she dosent have to focus on herself only on the baby, while still getting some food for herself from the baby....amazing what God has created
Those 💩 are so big , the mother bird eating them so fast ... 😳 That's why the nest can keep clean. The baby 🐦 eats a lot , the mother 🐦 has to find lots food to feed the baby . Mothers' love are so great ... ❤️
You do realize the father is often the one doing this right? And the mother is the one often sitting on the nest or getting herself food if the father isn't there.
It happens 😁😁 I saw a video where a father bird feeding multiple chicks in the nest forgot it was a poop out of constant chirping and maybe nervousness and the baby chick threw it out back 😂 It was hilarious
That chick is actually the bulbul's chick, and the other two are cuckoos, the cuckoo must have come too late as they only have a 2-3 day head start when they are laid. Also this type of bulbul has dark red speckled eggs, while cuckoos can change their egg color, they obviously didnt this time. The mother ends up pushing the eggs out herself after they get in the way and dont hatch, however had the cuckoo been laid at the right time, it would have had a chance as the mother waited what looked like almost a week before kicking them out
Someone took a parasite chick and put it in that nest, you can see the eggs unhatched and that chick is already pretty old. Alsonmomma bird isnt eating the poop, birds have thos sort of transport pouch they will carry things in and she carries that poop away from the nest before disgorging it to help keep predators from finding the nest
I see you are very gullible! The bird didn’t do that because its struggling to have money to shop at whole foods nor because it loved the baby bird so much. It did that because Its their natural instinct kicked in.
Bro at 1:16 THATS MY SECOND FAVORITE TYPE OF CATERPILLAR lime butterfly :/
HOW DID THAT GET 11 LIKES?!

Reseed it or pass the poop to next bird like human centipede

Even cats and dogs do that.
I was so curious about that! Thanks!
Humans too
It also keeps the nest clean so that it doesn’t attract ants.

Most parasite species have shorter incubation periods so they can easily outcompete the true nestlings.

Not all eggs hatch at the same time? Or do they lay eggs regularly like chickens?
they don't lay them all at once so they hatch at different times based on when they were first laid
