The other bird doesn't even seem to have the strength or wherewithal to push itself back into the nest while the cuckoo has the energy and strength to push its nestmate all of the way out.

Just the fact that they're born with these instincts to eject other birds and eggs from the nest is truly interesting. They use an awful lot of energy doing this and that other baby is almost twice the size of the cuckoo. No, i think it is literally twice its size
if you really want to moralize nature or the cosmos, why aren't you asking why the person(s) with the nest cam didn't remove the cuckoo from the nest? I'm not suggesting they should. but if you want to make (random?) moral assertions, at least let's start with blaming someone(s) that exist.

Cuckoos are native birds and in many places, it's illegal to remove native birds from any nests, even brood parasites.
