Im in the Entertainment Industry - for Decades ! I have been dressed by some amazing world class designers, I love Fashion and even worked with a stylist some years ago ---after I had my baby ( Who am I ? ---that happens as you know after giving birth I think ) yet with the recent trends ( especially this oversized craze ) ---I have not felt on top of it ( I am only 5'2" -110 lbs) . This is a very professional and helpful video, I just want to add that "don't elongate your upper body" is the worst piece of advice to give to people with short torsos, a piece of advice that EVERYONE gives, completely ignoring a large portion of the population, and it's also a piece of advice I followed for quite a while, not understanding why I always looked out of proportion and heavier. Until I realized that since my body was already out of proportion, this piece of advice made everything a whole lot worse. I wish more professionals would take body proportions into consideration when giving general advice; it would have saved me years of not understanding why I looked worse dressed than naked.
There is nothing controversial for women with short torso’s. You still aim for harmonious silhouette but avoid cropped tops and high-waisted bottoms not to look top heavy. And apart from that you work with other styling techniques such as necklines, color contrast etc to elongate the top part and slimmer it. Your channel popped up and I watched. You are so beautiful. Love what you had to say and I love your taste. I would like to wear my blouses tucked in, however after turning 72, I put on some weight around the tummy and I would much rather hide it. Any tips on that would be helpful. As a senior, I will say all the channels that have tips for makeup and clothes over fifty do not have the bodies issues or facial issues of a typical senior. Anything looks good on a slender body and youthful face. It is so frustrating. I would love to see such tips. Maybe you could do a couple of videos like that please?

Diana…. I have VERY narrow feet. So very hard for me to buy shoes. Any suggestions about what to do? Most shows are medium sizes and they swim on me. Thank you.
Can you make a video for different body shapes?
As a pear shape I have avoided many stylish options and wear too many tunics over leggings which need to go.
Also some of us cannot find shoes to fit, it’s very very hard to find anything except some sandals (I own basically nothing but leather simple sandals, and one pair of boxy mary jane flats, nothing fits my feet). If we had to make two pairs of shoes custom from custom made lasts, what would we choose?

Almost everwhere there are ideas abut tucking. What if one's waist is wide? I don't want to accentuate it!
I think the type of blouses/dresses with open neckline are not flattering; they drag down the silloutte.
Just go for tops which stop slightly above mid hip, or with asymmetrical hemline.
Hope you continue. Nothing bothers me more than someone who makes 4 great videos and give up.

I know those long, blocky tops and sweaters are trendy, but I just don’t buy them. I don’t think they flatter anyone, they give the female form the shape of a refrigerator. The thicker the knit, the worse this effect is.
The only dupe you could find for the off the shoulder top was one for
$1,280?!?! For a body suit made is viscose? Surely you could have done better than that.

Top which stop slightly above mid high or asymmetric hemline will work best for your type of figure! You will find a lot of techniques for your figure in my guide.
The black tee doesn’t end at mid-thigh, it ends around the hips.

The music - it detracts from the great things you are saying
The leather or pleather pants look cheap. The shine on the pants can downgrade the whole look. I see that vinyl look on TV and in stores, it make me think of wearing a shiny garbage bag. It is a look that's being pushed hard, the more I see of it the less I like it.
