I love pointy toes. I taught for 39 years wearing pointy toe flats as my go to comfy shoes. (I’m 63 with no bunions.) So in reference to the pointy shoe haters: it all depends on the shoes. Even now that I’m retired, I still prefer pointy toe flats to sneakers. They’re almost always part of my daily winter “uniform” of jeans & sweaters.

Footwear is a tough one for me as I have a wide toe box and slim ankles. Oh well, thanks for the tips. I’m still working on proportions in outfits
I have the same problem. I started to use heel cushions to prevent heel slippage and I size up a half size. So far I have had success.

Unfortunately I cannot wear pointed toes and cannot look stylish on the feet because of my poor shoe shapes from my younger days. I have deformed feet from wearing high heels and pointed toes. Throughout the years it has caused back pain. I would love it if you could feature barefoot shoes which could look elegant. I know it is a big challenge but I do feel style artists have a responsibility for helping fans deal with crippling styles that can’t be worn to walk in. Gail the moaning person who is desperate
Just opt for elongated toe, than can be square or almond shape as long as they’re slightly elongated 👌
Hi Diana, I love your channel and your style. I loved how you made this outfit more stylish. But if I'm honest I'm not a fan of in piticular those cream colored trousers. For me the rise was way to long the crotch was eay to low and I wasn't liking the length of the hem. I felt they would if looked better either an inch shorter or an inch or two longer. I'd just swsp them out for a different pair in the same color. You looked so beautiful in these outfits. I especially loved the ones with the pops of red in the outfits.

Sorry again but my posture has also suffered over the years with fashion shoes regardless of the prices I have paid. I never have bought cheap shoes but need open toes to enable my toes to spread widely as nature intended
Totally agree! Posture can suffer a lot from bad shoes.
I’ve had bunions since I was 17 and certainly wasn’t wearing pointed shoes before then. I think it’s more complicated than that. Now, I’m comfortable wearing non extreme pointed toes sometimes.

Pointed shoes if your job is sitting down the office whole day, but if you go up and down the stairs and standing all day like teachers, I guess that won't work.

Sorry but you are encouraging women to wear pointed toe shoes which cause Bunions!!! They may look good but you’ll eventually regret it.
There are alternatives for pointed toe shoes. What about square toe or almond toe shoes? Think in alternatives! 🤩
Working at a law firm starting in my twenties, wearing pointed toe high heels, has ruined my feet.
If being comfortable was the only goal, everyone would wear tracksuits and Birkenstocks. Pointed toe shoes simply look better than others, and you can't really blame a style influencer for recommending them.
Almond toe is a reasonable alternative but not square, those have the opposite visual effect and often won't work unless you're tall or have disproportionately large feet.
Sweater tied on top of a sweater? Elegance is now a synonym of stupidity?
I’ve worn high heels for 50 plus years . I have no bunions . When choosing shoes with pointed toes, look for a bigger toe box, especially with higher heels . Flat and low heeled pointed toe shoes don’t put as much pressure on the toes as heels do but it’s imperative to make sure the toes box is large enough .
The first outfit was fine for dog walking, the white trousers and pointy heels ruined it. And I live in the UK, no one wears sunglasses unless it is summer.
Untrue . I live in the UK and wear sunglasses all year round . UV rays are present even in dull overcast weather and wearing sunglasses has kept my eyes wrinkle free despite being in my late 60s .

For the first outfit, it would be more interesting to see what sweater to wear with the jeans and what jeans to swap for the sweater. I mean, keep but improve the casual vibe. Those creamy flood pants you wear are hideous. They ruin every look. And they are not practical to walk the dog in , which I thought was the goal.

I agree - you can wear coloured shoes with white trousers but black shoes are a definite no no with anything except black or denim .
