If you're ever panning through some material that may contain rubies again, a blacklight flashlight would help, rubies fluoresce!!
Great paydirt !! I took a few from him, never disappointed by the quantity and also by the quality of this gold (probably the most beautiful that I have in my collection).
I even bought some as a gift...people all loved it...a really appreciated gift !!
I like BAHT Gold. Like the listing stated, it's 22k-23k gold. It's bright yellow in color. Also, Thailand is known for their rubies. I bought one for my mom on one of my visits.
My wife is Thai. Our wedding rings are 23 and a half karats (965). They are bright as hell.
Interesting!! Thought for sure during panning of the fine stuff you stumbled across a bigger ruby...shows during the slo-mo part. Love seeing paydirt from around the world - our "base material" may be different but it is all the same in a pan.... GOLD!!

Would be interesting to pan for gold, I have some experience with panning out the silver from my cabbing machine mud because I grind silver when making jewelry. So I save the mud out of the water troughs and pan out the silver dust at the end of the month and melt it back down into something I can use again.😁👍

Just run a blacklight, i use a l. E. D. Blackllight over your in paydirt, rubies will glow orange or pink. They really stand out!!, Great showam.. thanks

Considering the cost of prospecting for the same amount of gold in the field, you did well. At least no physical work and no other expenses such as fuel etc.

Looked like some Aussie red sands! Shame there wasn't more rubies considering that's what the main idea was for this paydirt.
Iit might be worth scratch-testing some of that to make sure it's not just gold-ish manufactured into placer-looking bits. Some of it seemed to drop down the pan quite readily making me wonder if it is as dense as it ought to be.
Ruby's glow under uv light
650 to 1500 usd per month to live in thailand. at 46 dollars a bag, thats a great way to compensate a family income.
The red color comes from high iron in the soil.

Great dirt. Had a mine that had red quartz with gold was very similar to that. Was the nugget included with that weight?

Well and theres a difference in the less gem quality ones in the pay dirt you offer but either way the rubys are still big and cool but has a bunch of rutile feather inclusions and cracks
