Yeah, it already has nice velocity for it's class of pistol. I know that when I was working out the conversion I tried shortening the spring that controls the trigger pull and gas release in order to lighten the trigger pull, but it greatly reduced the velocity..almost to nothing in fact. If it works in the opposite direction, if you increased the power of that spring you would increase both the trigger pull and the power/fps. But then it would be really hard to shoot.
Ok, I see so the trigger spring is also the hammer spring, therefor if you lighten the trigger spring you in turn lighten how hard the hammer strikes the valve and vise-versa. could it be possible to install a lighter Valve spring but leave the hammer/trigger spring alone to boost the fps but keep the trigger pull the same. Your right, however, this awesome "near" P38 replica does have good power for its class and with such a short barrel.
Nice, I just bought one, I would love to do that conversion. Does the conversion bring the FPSD up at all? if not, is there a way/mods that can be done to do so? Just in case I want to someday, if I get another one, (I would love to have one shooting at 600fps, but the 411fps avg. to 495fps, max., is pretty good for me, IMHO.
Awesome! I am an UNCLE fan from the olden days and I must say I can clearly see Napoleon and Illya using that gun!!!

I think they are the same spring, so whatever you do effects both.
NOW it's cooler than Crosman intended. Kudos for a great conversion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice. How much would it cost to mod a C41 to look like the UNCLE pistol/carbine?
I didn't know you couldn't. I don't even see a setting for that.
