**It's not the camera that makes a great photo, it's the photographer that TAKES a great photo.
Who is Carmine Taverna the Photojournalist from NYC?
Hello everyone, I have been a Professional Photographer since 1973.
I graduated from the School of Modern Photography and I must mention additional 3 years of Photography studies and Darkroom Techniques while in High School.
My photos appear in Newspapers, Magazine covers and of course the World Wide Web.
**I completely understand buying on eBay is scary. However, when you are ready to buy your camera or lens on ebay, use this checklist I have created...
1) buy from a seller in Japan.
2) they must have 100% positive feedback.
3) they must have at least 100 Feedbacks.
4) the listing must say MINT OR EXC OR WORKING OR TESTED OR LIKE NEW.
5) you must understand the camera will Not be the cheapest one on ebay.
6) I try to Only buy cameras and lenses from Sellers in Japan
Best wishes,

The following is a Rebecca West Quote.
"Any authentic work of art, must start an argument, between the artist and his audience."
Must Read
"Photographic art overlaps with the landscape, portraiture, and other photography types. It is defined by the artist's vision and approach to get distinct photographs. Unlike other forms of photography, fine art photography is about capturing what the artist sees instead of what the camera sees. It is just another tool for artists to produce their art."

Your videos are so fun to watch! You've proven to me that it's not the camera but the photographer. I own 4 DSLRs Nikon D100, D200, Canon Rebel XT and my new T7. I've learned so much from you, thank you and please keep it up 👍
Glad you like them!
I still run my original 300D/Rebel with a variety of lenses. I did try to use it today in a more demanding scenario and I did suffer with it's write-delay even to an ultra CF card. I've had my original 300D since 2004/2005. Thank you for your review, it is a breath of validating fresh air to my trying to keep using it. I simply enjoy the hobby and recreation of using it instead of resorting to the iphone camera LOL
Dude, I really enjoyed this. Thanks
Thank you so much for watching my channel
Love Nikon, but it’s difficult to ignore those canon colors! Gorgeous pics!
I believe the 300D was the first camera to use EF-S lenses. Also, owning this camera puts you in the 6 Megapixel Club ! :) 6 MP is all you need.
Agreed. Looking back at my photos taken over the years, some of my best shots were with my first DSLR-a 6 MP Nikon D40.
I got that diffuser. Works great. Great video once again.
Thank you so much 💓
The colours look great, nice pictures 😁🍻
Thank you! Cheers!
I love those colors.
Thank you very much :)
Thanks for the tips, useful info for people starting out such as myself.
Thanks for watching my channel
I got my Canon EOS 300D for free about 4 years ago. I now have the Canon EOS 300, 300V and 300D, and I must admit, I prefer the 300 and 300V. For DSLR, I prefer the Konica Minolta Dynax 5D and the Nikon D70. I never really felt happy with the the Canon EOS 300D, but I'm definitely keeping it in my collection.
I am a new subscriber and I love this video. Your pictures are amazing!!
Thank you so much 💓
I too bought one new in '03, lol...Never regretted it as it has been responsible for so many memories. Back then I was the dad with the DSLR and also the camcorder and a phone, which could text. Thanks for the handgrip tip. I picked it up for the first time in years the other day, and yes it just sticks all over anything it touches now. It's in otherwise mint condition apart from the dead battery (new one in post). I'm looking forward to using it again as I think its colours are special V way newer. Thanks again.
Thanks so much for watching my channel
I really enjoyed your video. It was very calming to watch, and the photos are wonderful.
Thank you so much for watching my channel ❤️
Interesting stuff thanks for the information
Thanks for watching my channel
Beautiful photos.
Thank you so much
Hi there, lovely pics there and thanks for the positive review. Only one question, are thise imiges raw and how much post editing did you use to get them that sharp? Cheers,Derrick.
Hello, and thank you for watching my videos. As any good photographer would do, of course I edit every photo before displaying it whether in a gallery or RUclips. Please edit your photos with any good quality postproduction photo edit software. I use a few, Luminar 4 and Movavi.
What is the purpose of editing in photography?
Creates High-Quality Images: Photo editing can improve the quality of an image, making it sharper, clearer, and more vibrant. This can be important for businesses looking to create professional and polished visuals for their website, social media, and other marketing channels.
Hello, may I ask an off topic question. I've been watching your videos and as a result I have been looking at the Nikon 1 v1 and Olympus E620- neither of which are available as cheaply here than in the US . I've also been considering an Olympus OM D EM10 mark ii which is a bit more expensive than either of the first two but not by £hundreds more. Question: which is a better option? Thanks.
Olympus OM D EM10 mark ii would be the camera I would pick.
@@CarmineTavernaPhotographyas someone who's new to photogaphy I was thinking that too, but it's good to have it confirmed, thank you.
Sounds great but can I buy a new battery for it. And an adapter for the CF card . CF Card to computer. Thanks love Ur channel
Yes, absolutely..cf card reader that plug into usb port are cheap..and the battery is very common BP-511A
Don't forget the little memory keep alive battery which is also in the battery compartment. It is like a watch battery, number CR2016. @@CarmineTavernaPhotography
I was given my son’s Canon 300D and I’m not sure which batteries it takes. I purchased no name batteries but the camera won’t turn on. What do you think is the problem? Beth
Hello, The Canon 300D uses the Canon battery BP-511A find it on Amazon..PS the Wasabi brand equivalent is very good

@@CarmineTavernaPhotography thank you!
Hello sir, I just have one question, How to connect this camera to PC does it has a USB port ?
You remove the memory card from the camera and put the memory card in a "USB card reader " and put that in a USB port in your computer.
I buy a cf to usb adapter but I think I broke my cf card because my canon says C bc before starting and error cf .
Can you help me please?
Do you think I need buy a New cf card?
I'm new to photography
I'm planning to buy this canon 300d
but I'm worry that this camera's so old that the mechanical mirror gonna break
sorry, english isn't my native language
If you purchase 2 Canon 300D eos cameras, one to use, one for a backup, you spent a grand total of $50 for 2 digital, cameras.
