Days gone is the first game I’ve ever beaten twice and completed all side missions. Definitely on my top 5. And other zombie games developers need to take notes.
Maybe not my all-time favorite, but top 10. Loved TLOU and TLOU 2 but Days Gone was much better than both.

Days gone is the best all round playstation exclusive I have ever played, I have played them all and days gone is the one I return to most. It would be very dumb for them to not make a sequel.
I have played this game more than any other game even on my PS5 it works beautifully and I continue to restart new games constantly playing all the way through it with the same excitement and catching the same emotional feel each time! What do the fans have to do to get a DG2?!
Days Gone deserves a sequel. The only other games that came out that I enjoyed playing as much around the same time were Red Dead Redemption 2 and Ghosts of Tsushima. I was drawn into this complex storyline imeadiately and count it amongst one of the greatest games that I have ever had the pleasure of playing

I am in awe.... Days Gone is better than The Last of Us by far! It is the best game of all time for me personally, I have PS 5 and I played The Ghost of Tsushima, The God of War, The Last of Us both parts.... Days Gone is unmatched. Full stop. The gameplay, the storyline, the gamer's experience and the rest of it, even though it is a PS 4 game.

It's definitely better than The Last Of Us which was a good game but for sure overrated.
Maybe in game mechanics its definitely neck and neck with TLOU but saying TLOU is overrated now thats a stretch

Someone told me they couldn't be compared - are you kidding me? 3rd person post-apocalypse zombie shooters with a grumpy male lead and they can't be compared?
But LOU has such deep characters and a rich storyline... WTF? It has two main characters and less than half a dozen cardboard cutout characters you engage with in the whole story, which is character A escorting character B through a series of set piece locations. Apart from where you play character B for a bit that's it. Deacon's brief relationship with Wade Taylor is deeper than anything in LOU.
Even if the storylines were equal, the gameplay in DG is so much more entertaining and challenging. Even on a replay with the top weapons I found myself running for safety frequently.
Maybe LOU2 picks up the pace, but it's not available on PC yet and I won't be paying full price for it if and when it does arrive.
It's overrated. Having played DG first, I was completely underwhelmed by TLOU in story, scope and gameplay.
They made it seem days gone didn't sell. We, the fan, deserve a part 2 of days gone. Who cares what the "critics" think. The only game that I wanted to platinum. 😊

The excitement I felt when the trailer first dropped was insane, it's something I'd always play
when i played Days Gone i was so invested in the story I can't even express how much it shook me up. I got goosebumps playing it. That show the game left a strong ( and positive) impression on me. I'd definitely go for days gone 2. As stated here.. the story ended up nicely but it really left space for a sequel. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it

People say that video games are just video games, well I 100% disagree with that, this game actually brougth tears to my eyes, it is so damn emotional, the Timeline of Sarah's supposedly death, Deek remembering moments with her, when he thought Boozman killed himself when blowing up the truck while driving it, bro and so many other touchy moments, this is by far one of the most perfect and well made games in the gaming history, and it is my dream to be made a sequel, i can promise to whoever does it, it will be successful and if I have to buy a play5 just for this game, I mostly will
It deserves a sequel, i play days gone and finish the game 2x already and it was so great, we hope that it can be possible to do a part 2 of this game, we'll wait on it.

I hope you’re right about the sequel still coming. It was such a letdown when I finished this game & began searching for info about a sequel only to learn that it was scrapped because of virtue signaling hypocrites who hadn’t even played it giving it bad reviews that were filled with misinformation about the game!

Sure the game had its bugs on lunch but what game doest lol but the way they connected the entire syphon filter series with days gone hasn't been seen since games like bloodborne the amount of story telling done through the environment and the micro recorders makes it a master piece imo

I Like everything about Days Gone but What i like the most about DAYSGONE is that DaysGone is a Challenge Game and it Let you play the way you want and it Doesn't force Difficulty like ubisoft Games and its not about play to win like ubisoft Games if they make DG 2 .just make some new weapons add jeep car more missions more skills special weapons

Bend studio stated that Days Gone was a major hit for them but it didn’t reach the sales Sony expected so that’s why they wouldn’t green light a sequel. The game was one of the best experiences I ever had and a part 2 would be awesome!! Hey but look at the bright side… we got a Knack 2!! 🤨

Where could you sign the petition for Legacy of Kain Blood Omen and Soule Reaver remake,as well as Dino Crisis, because those are games that really deserve a remake,and Dino Crisis 3, I would pre-order that right away.When they already remake so many games and even some that are crap have a remake and these two titles that were really one of the best games at the time didn't get a PS5 and Xbox version.
Most underrated game of all time.
The game is brilliant and has so many cliffhangers because it was foreseen that there would be a second part...the journey to the north, to ride to California, the transformation of O'Brian...in the second part I would have the same protagonists take Deek, Sarah, Boozer, Ricky, Addy, Lisa and Weaver....familiar faces are always better than new ones...let's rock DG2

You've got lesbian Ellie's half black pregnant bisexual girlfriend's Asian ex boyfriend showing up, then you play half the game as an ugly woman's head on a man's body with a little girl that thinks she's a boy sidekick. Did you watch the TV series? Sarah and Tommy's wife were played by black actors. Why do they need to do all of this?! It's pure cancer. And why I absolutely love Days Gone.

I only just finished the game recently. And I can say I loved the game over all. There were just a few Issues. Quick time event for a specific boss fight was a bit bullshit. When the big boss fight prior to that was more skill based in hand-to-hand fighting. But after the quick time event bs Last Villain, there was no fight. While I get where the story was going with it. It was quite obvious I felt rather cheated at the very end. I do believe those two last bosses were what really hurt the game over all. Bugs glitches all can be fixed and addressed. But revamping that entire part of the game would have cost too much. And I think the reason they went that way was most likely due to pressure by Higher ups.
I'd like to see myself days gone 2. But not only is it about against NERO at this point. I think adding a base building where you have to find people to fill out your bases. As you do, each base gets stronger. And maybe this is done to find others who can help with research on a cure. But you need to build and man bases and outposts the further out you go. Of course, each base or outpost is preplanned by the developers, not just something we make on our own. Our real goal would just be supplies and man power. Till the point, the base or out post can start doing runs for its self to slowly strengthen on its own. Finding ways to restore power to a region.
With days gone by the end of it you're reaching 900 days. That's almost 3 years. Now if we take days gone, 2 to be further. Maybe a big issue is the scarcity of gas and ammunition getting low. And maybe due to something that we heard in days gone that the freakers are showing signs of communicating like ants and other bugs. What if there is a mutation also that has made it so there Is a queen who is very much like an ant colony, reproducing on a mass level. Which is why there seams to be no end to them. Which could mean there are quite a few Colony's out there with queens. But this could also mean they fight among each other for territory and food. Maybe that is what it turns out is the real reasons for the hords. To take new queens to new potential colony locations. The way they move and act is very much the same way ants act when moving a queen from an old colony to a new location.
There is so much they could still do. And Sony is sitting on their asses with something that is prime to blow up if dealt correctly.

Loved the story of days gone. Was one of my favorite games. However I hated looking at my back the entire game. Makes it feel so fake. FPS would be SOOO much better. Would be a lot scarier and real feeling.. and isn’t that the point of shooter horror games.. to feel more real and be scarier.. I don’t like VR either though.. I still want to easily notice if a real zombie or person breaks into my house while I’m playing the game..

Sony said they would rather see a remake of siphon filter rather than make a sequel. What killed any chance of a sequel the the departure of key figure heads responsible for the game, and IGN completely shitting on a game that they never played. Back when days gone first released. IGN had a lot of pull in the community. So what they said pretty much turned Sony off on any chance of a sequel. The only way I see them making a sequel is if IGN gets sued for slander, and damn near rioting in front of the Sony corporate building. Or, Microsoft buys bend studios and makes it exclusive for Xbox only.
