This was a great video, both as a first effort and just in general. I hope this exceeds your expectations view count wise, as I’d love to see you do more of these.
This video was excellent. I'm just a melee spectator but the way you broke it down made the explanation really easy to grasp. I'm excited to look for this kind of interaction when I'm watching tourney matches
Is this the sort of content you didn't wanna make? I hope you understand why it is indeed a good video and far, far better digestible than 2 hour long sessions. Good job!
fiction putting effort into his content, complementing his massive melee brain with an entertaining and easily digestable format that will spread his analysis to an even wider audience? i never thought this day would come
everybody has been meming sooo hard on your but this is genuinely INCREDIBLE ANALYTICAL CONTENT. idk if you intentionally used the falco lasers in transition frames to “underline” the text, but even if it were unintentional, it was a very cool design choice
They were intentional! Fiction and I talked about how the animations would underline or emphasize his text and thought it was a great strategy to include fun movement and also underline important phrases. ;)
I was worried about your attitude when it came to content creation, but then you go ahead and make this sick video w/ a fun title + thuimbnail. Entertaining too. Great job!!!
Thanks, I hope the next thumbnail is a banger! Had to do like 15 iterations of it, Shep n I studied from Mr Beast and other content creators. Subtle but it's hard to make a good image read from phones and be funny!
liked and subbed within the first 10 seconds because it's Fiction, it's bound to be fire. after watching, can confirm, it's a barnburner. the world needs more!
Wow. I had no idea how complex these laser interactions really are when they're happening. Play a ton of fighting games but only really watch melee so it's cool to have a kind of intermediate level explanation on things.
Excellent video! I have watched about a dozen of you analysis/coaching sessions and this is also a great resource to learn from. I learn so much watching this channel. Thanks!
I do really hope this video does well, it's really well done and deserves it, I personally was fairly harsh to your comments but am really glad that you put such great effort into this project, I also learned quite a lot as someone who is mainly just a spectator, keep up the great work :)
Just leaving this comment here to say that i'm really liking what I see so far for a first attempt! I was pretty critical in my video earlier this week. I'll give me full thoughts after watching the vid ~~EDIT~~ After watching the video fully I can only say way to go! This is definitely a good first crack at covering a topic which I can only believe to be pretty nuanced in melee (My luigi would likely go 1-2 at best and melee isn't my main game of choice). There's definitely love and care put into this, I think anyone can see that from a mile away. If I were playing both fox and falco I would definitely appreciate knowing how interactions are likely to play out in in this matchup since falco lasers are very likely going to be a common occurence in any matchup since falco lasers are very oppressive tools. Being able to cover something like this from both sides is always appreciated for most folk. There's alot of informaiton to unpack here but I believe that's fine since this is definitely targetted towards an audience that cares about these little details. The only fault I could really give is that the pace of the video is pretty quick and having some transitions between the important sections would definitely be a boon here, just as a way to reset my mind and let me acknowledge that we're moving onto something else. All in all, you knocked this out of the park! ~~ SECOND EDIT ~~ Little tidbit for people in the future too. If you're looking to reach out and find people who like this type of content, the best place to post it is reddit by far. I've got the analytics from all of my videos and twitter just isn't the way to go unless you're a big dog in the community haha
Fantastic encouraging comment. I helped with some of the art on this (Fox gambling, thumbnail) It’s people like you that make my life feel accomplished. You’re breathtaking! *finger guns*
@@VetNovice I was wondering who did that amazing piece of art ;) it's always a great feeling when someone appreciates the work that you do, it's why I make stuff on this site myself haha Keep at it! I'll be checking out more in the future :)
Holy fuck I love this video! I get that it's not a complete explanation of how to use lasers in all sense but this a wonderful framework to go from I've been playing Falco for a long while now, and have never really understood lasers and how to use them properly
Very useful video. Constraint allows for rewatchability and becomes a valuable resource. I like that it's similar to the fox privilege series, I'm glad you and KJH are homies.
This game is shockingly deep. I genuinely don't understand how people can get this good at melee, But then again I guess we built nuclear bombs and went to the moon so we're pretty cool creatures.
This was a great video, both as a first effort and just in general. I hope this exceeds your expectations view count wise, as I’d love to see you do more of these.
nice
Great vid!
Fantastic video, I learned a lot =)
i thought you learned alot since your channel is a tut channel

I guess i have to stop clowning on fiction for complaining but never putting out content people actually want to watch because this is just good
“It’s easy to try to fight without lasers which doesn’t work well” *westballz gameplay plays in background*
This is what melee has been missing. I’m very interested in what other content you’ll make in the future!
This is the exact content I've been wanting to see more of. Thanks for making this, very informative!
Loved the video. Good rate of explaining tech without lingering on topics for too long. Looking forward to more breakdowns through your perspective
This vid is a real step up for you imo. I think you've got a real content goldmine on your hands if you keep vids like these coming. Best of luck!
Fictions analysis is a gold mine for people who want to improve
This guy is crazy, his ics vids especially
Can tell how much work you put into this! Awesome vid
Amazin Video which is probably irrelevant to 98 % of the viewers, but shows the extreme complex beauty of Melee! love it!
i can get lost in the voiceover sometimes, so the top text helps me so much. really nice addition thank you
This video was excellent. I'm just a melee spectator but the way you broke it down made the explanation really easy to grasp. I'm excited to look for this kind of interaction when I'm watching tourney matches
So glad I got to help with this video! It’s fire. (I made the thumbnail and Fox drawing.)
Hope to make more content with you soon buddy :).
Best marketing campaign for a video of all time
Excellent video dude, no fluff and all business. I believe in the bird's power.
this is really fire dude, hope to see more like this
This video is great. Very condensed and to-the-point. I hope to see more!
I love the effort and how you introduce the topics in an easy to understand way in this video, definitely getting my subscription
Is this the sort of content you didn't wanna make? I hope you understand why it is indeed a good video and far, far better digestible than 2 hour long sessions. Good job!
The structure and clarity of the video makes it very digestible and easier to implement. great Video!

The community dont deserve you my boi ,all your videos and this one are just pure gold for those who really want to improve.
This is the best Thumbnail I’ve ever seen in a Melee video ever. Kudos
Thanks, I hope the next thumbnail is a banger! Had to do like 15 iterations of it, Shep n I studied from Mr Beast and other content creators.

Shout-outs to Fiction's patented "twitter drama" marketing strategy
Damn this is really well put together and understandable
instead of blaming the beasts, he changed society
Fiction is making melee’s best educational content
As a big spectator who has play very little, I very much enjoy this content
liked and subbed within the first 10 seconds because it's Fiction, it's bound to be fire. after watching, can confirm, it's a barnburner. the world needs more!
rarely do I learn much from educationals these days, but this was truly helpful.

I legit didn't know that Fiction sounded like that. His voice is legit a cross between magic scrumpy and asumsaus, but a bit deeper.
10/10 Thumbnail

Yo this some high quality stuff I love it. Concise explanations and the simple visual edits made it really easy to understand
twitter has been real quite ever since new Fiction vid dropped

absolutely glued to the screen, what an insane video

nice video :) would love to see things like these covered with other falco matchups. thanks for the upload!
The analysis content we've all been waiting for. Love you set analyses too!
10:30 is literally the sickest discovery to this interaction and I play falco LOL
This was a great video!! Thanks for making it :D

i can't wait to see falcos do take powershielded laser nair
Didn't even know running power shield was a thing, thanks for the lesson!
I never comment on videos, but this is a banger video I don't even play falco. Great content man
This video is incredible
this is some good shit fiction, kinda crazy but it seems like you got the formula down after just one video
I was thinking the same thing, like SummoningSalt or DuelLinks, this format has the potential to pop off outside it’s community
comment for the algorithm, banger content
Amazing video!
Great point + algorithm comment
This game is shockingly deep. I genuinely don't understand how people can get this good at melee, But then again I guess we built nuclear bombs and went to the moon so we're pretty cool creatures.
Love me some melee analysis vids
amazingly informative video! falco is broken and I'm scared
1:15 westballz in SHAMBLES
Very well explained fiction
Elite content. Well done man.
This shit goes hard, excited for the next one
Great vid cant wait for more!
Yeah very good video man
Picking my nose while watching this. Dope.
Great video :)
Lasers are so dominant that the response to them is to literally physically modify your controller to deal with them.
This video is fire please do more
Reminds me of SSBM Tutorials, and I see them in the comments as well haha. Love this style of video, very digestible while learning a lot.
Love the Backyardigans Bossa Nova
Great video! Gonna try this
Awesome stuff
