Recorded from ABC's Good Morning America on March 28, 1990, this is one of the last few interviews with Jim Henson before his death on May 16, 1990. His last known interview was on the Arsenio Hall Show on May 4, 1990.
Here he is interviewed by Joan Lunden about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie which released two days later.

This is so sad to watch, on top of the fact that if you listen to his voice - you can just hear the bright and happy tone of Kermit and to think he’d be unfortunately gone soon after.

Teenage mutant ninja turtles was probably Jim Henson’s best work. Despite not being a fan of the film, he pushed the envelope when it came to puppeteering and animatronics.
