Wowa. Every part of this song and even the video, reminds me of my parents. Seeing them working in the yard together when I'd pull into the driveway with my own kids. Dad, doing all the guy stuff around the house. My mom making coffee for everyone, waiting on my father, being the glue that holds the family together. The love between us all. Dad passed away a month ago. We'll stick together like you said, Dad. Times are changing, and not for the better. I'm almost 40 now. This way of life is more important now more than ever.
can't believe someone down voted this beautiful song. my folks are still like this. dad worships mama and she feels the same about him. recently they had to be apart for a couple weeks while she was in the hospital and it was torture for him. they wouldn't let him visit.
This songs grows more and more in terms of a favorite. I wasn't married when I first heard it and liked it then. Now having to be married for almost 22 years, love it more!
All your songs are the greatest, loving, meaningful etc. No matter how I feel, all I need is play your songs, and I am in the mood. My husband passed little over a year ago, Alabama band and my family and friends is helping me through these times Love all of you🎶🎶 🎶🎵🎵😍
Love this! We still believe this even in 2022 I love my husband and family so much! So much love we have for each other. The Good Lord has blessed us! Love you Baby forever! 🤍💍🤵🏼♂️👰♀️👫🏼
It may not be right for everyone, or work for every couple. But like the song says, it works for this couple and it's beautiful for them. I say support their happiness and let them live their lives.
I can't believe i have not herd this song until now i am an Alabama fan love their music have at least 3 or 4eight track tapes i have converted them to cassettes i wish we had a country music station that still played this kind of music some of the new music is ok but not like this
This song reminds me of how my mom and dad were, teaching me from a young age how to be a father and husband, and helping me see what I wanted in a wife. Mom passed away unexpectedly in 2016. While she is missed greatly, her legacy lives on.
I'm sorry about your loss I just wish life was still that way where the woman still takes care of her man and the man still takes care of his woman nowadays you can't even find a man who wants to get taken care of or a woman who wants to take care of him I am 54 years old and I'm still looking for a man that will love me I really doubt if there's any man out there like that not anymore
Is this true son talking to if it is thank you very much for bringing my grandma's with you I love her she's seventy was 79 years old when she died thank you I love you amen
A bit better than baby baby baby yeah yeah yeah get down boogie .... isn't it? Thank goodness that these guys are able and allowed to release such amazing music!
At my grandma died this week last weekend Sunday morning Sunday afternoon around 3 I want everybody to pray for us we miss her we love her as well woman should have bought logged shed a lot of grandkids lot of nephews lot of nieces and everything else I hope everybody cares and prays for us thank you love you Grandma
Love this band every song is extremely Stunningly Sung I LOVE ALABAMA RANDY, TEDDY, AND JEFF; EVEN THOUGH JEFF'S NOT WITH US ANYMORE MISS YOU JEFF COOK REST IN PEACE BRO 👍❤️🙏😃
Thank god they WERE able to release this music. Anymore there aren't enough people who appreciate it, so nobody buys it. If it doesn't sell, they can't afford to make it. Plus, they retired and split up years ago. I've always said that my dream is to see them in concert together, but I never expect that to happen.
This is a prime example of what marriage is. Biblical marriage is for the husband to take care of the family and the wife to care for the home. I know it's necessary for women to bring in a second income these days just to survive but God set the female to be the caregiver and the man to oversee the big picture. That's what's beautiful about this song! I work to tie up the loose ends but I still care for the family primarily. Sometimes I do wish the world could just leave us alone!
No offense, great song, great band, but I wouldn't ever just want to be a caregiver, I want to get out and work, and have my own money, I don't want to depend on anyone and have to ask for money to do something.
Hmmm... I loved this song as child and it still has some redeeming qualities, however a woman is NOT a slave and should never be treated as one. The very first line attributes to that. Very Sad. :(
@@PArTuie If that is what you get out of the first line of the song than you are clueless. Showing respect and wishing to help and do things for the person you love is not slavery. If the first line was "she writes a honey do list and he gets right on it" would that suddenly make him some slave to her?

this is me and my husband marriage. we love the biblical marriage. we are 24 and 30 but we carry the old ways for our children
Are you guys still together?
Sadly, marriages aren't like this anymore. They're thrown away as easily as trash these days.
Yes we need to go back to that kinda living. This country would be in better shape
My parents
My grandparents
Im sure one day my kids will say this about us
