You don't have to twist right over left what you have to do is twist ALL the twist in the same direction no matter if it's right over left OR left over right 💯
Finally someone said this!! Thanks girl! I’m left handed so I always do it left over right and wondering why my twists are always crinkly. Thanks again
true you need to twist with the pattern. false its always the same. when i use hair like water wave or any hair that’s curled but not completely kinky i open the packs and separate into two piles. on pile will have pieces that are curled to the left the other pile will have pieces curled to the right. that being said just make sure you’re twisting the same direction it’s curled in.
I’ve been using this specific brand of hair for years now and it’s always been to the right lol. I didn’t speak for any other brand or texture but I’m pretty positive about this one.
@@jaichanellieYou're so right. It depends on the brand. I've been doing right over left for years. the brand I have in my hair now, I had to twist left over right.
Never understood how so many of us are right handed but twist hair leading with the left hand. I’ve only ever twisted right over left so I didn’t know this was an issue lol
I know what you mean because it often happens to me … but recently I learned how to do it the other way: it’s a little bit difficult but it can be done.
I figured this out a few years ago. I usually tell myself to twist towards the window of my place because if i twist towards the door it won't turn out right. Which is actually my left over my right .
Thank you Sis!! I’ve been askin this question, I sorta figure that’s what it was with trial & error. Now is it right ov’r left when I’m doin the other side of my head? Or when I’m doing someone’s hair, is it still right ov’r left?
@@jaichanellie so some extensions require to do right over left, and others require vise versa? Also, does this apply to the direction of twists on just solely natural hair
@@abby-girly1652 yes, because it’s all dependent on the direction of the curl, and not all weaves are created equal in that regard. You can also get a more uniform twist on natural hair by twisting a certain direction!
I swear i did this style but i struggle with my real hair showing when i fo the twist...like literally my real hair sticks out of each twist...i...but i loveeee this style...just wish i could get my real hair to not stick out of the twists
I initially wondered if she was speaking about all brands but she replied to a comment that it's specifically for the one she used. I recently twisted my hair & noticed that when I went in the opposite direction of the hair, my real hair showed.
I twisted my hair without any extensions or fake hair, since I’m left handed I did the opposite of what you’re recommending by habit. My hair doesn’t look quite like yours since my hair is thinner and it’s my first time. But next time should I do this, or does it only apply when you add on fake hair?
Wait wait wait I twist with my right hand but should I be twisting inwards or outwards? Does that make a difference or just which hand I use? I find twisting outwards much easier for me than twisting inwards tbh
If you notice that your curls go a different direction then twist that way. I’m sharing based off of the hair that I used, which I shared in the full length video
Oh my god no one told me this at all!! No wonder my twists looked weird 😭
Sis this was me !!!
Not all heroes wear capes! I salute you❤
Let me send this to everyone I know, THANK YOU BC I NEEDED THIS❤️
Yessss spread the word 🙌🏽 thanks for sharing!
This is what I’ve been messing up with for ALL THESE YEARS
Omg thank you for this!!❤️ I always wondered what I was doing wrong. I would always have a few funny looking twist lol
This just saved me. I’m about to do some twists. Thank you 🖤
You don't have to twist right over left what you have to do is twist ALL the twist in the same direction no matter if it's right over left OR left over right 💯
My twists have not been twisting I've given up trying. As a left-handed person right over left pretty much awkward and my hands just not cooperating
I'm right-handed and you twist left over right, not what she said. I just learned this.
I’m left-handed too! Just takes some practice
@@whatfor2002 it really depends on the type of hair you’re using but I’ve seen most ppl use the same hair as me which is why I’m sharing!
Trust meeeeee 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lefthanded problems in this world we have to learn everything backwards!
I came here to ask this… but the artist is left handed so now I’m even more lost 😂
The best advice every ❤
This right here has been a game changer 🙌🏾
Yes! But if you are like me and are trying mimic the whole right over left thing but it’s making yo nerves bad, it’s called going counterclockwise 😂
Thanks so much!❤ I couldn't get the twists to look right!❤ Thanks so much!
Omgsh!! Thank you girl! I was always wondering why my twist look different hHha ! Thank you game changer

Girl sameeee!! Now I know why
Great job momma! I hope this goes viral!!
Thank you SO much and me too lol 🙏🏽
I literally just figured this out half way making my sister’s hair… this is a game changer tbh

Makes total sense 😮
Right, the dots be connecting 🤯
This explains why my sis twists never loon right. I'm sending her this video. Thanks
THANK YOU! I am literally about to start doing this style and I was looking for someone to help me with which way to twist.
Dammit that’s the opposite of how I naturally twist…10 years of twisting I can’t just switch it up for this 😂
I founddddd you again thank goddesses!!
🤔 never knew that! Thanks girlie!❤
Thanks for the tip your twist look so good 🥰
You’re so welcome, thanks for the compliments 🥰
Wow! Thank you sis💜
Twist to the left
In Jamaica they say rope twist… so you twine the hair (like a lock motion) then twist as you go
This is a different type of twist! I do that same motion when doing Senegalese twists ☺️
Never understood how so many of us are right handed but twist hair leading with the left hand. I’ve only ever twisted right over left so I didn’t know this was an issue lol
I’m not one of those people lol, I’m left-handed!!
Me too
THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN DOING WRONG TYSM ❤❤❤
i’m twisting my hair tomorrow thankssss
Omg thank you
You’re so welcome!
Thank you!!!! I had no idea 😂
I needed this because my twist always looked weird and I wonder why 😂
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU❤

This is why these don’t work for left handed people :(
I’m left-handed…
Counterclockwise is your friend. ❤
Thank you!
no lies told!!!!!!
Mines are wrong 😮 but I'm not taking them down too much work. I know now, Thank you beautiful 😘😂
I hate that!! I’m a right over left twister
Did you cut the hair in half ?
Thank you Sis!!
I’ve been askin this question, I sorta figure that’s what it was with trial & error.

Being left handed this feels impossible 😂
I’m left-handed, it’s very possible 😂
Is the same for every head of hair or does it depend on the person?
It depends on the hair extensions you’re using, I’m adding weave to my hair in this video
So twist toward your face( right hand moving forward)?
It DEPENDS ON THE HAIR
I’m not talking about any other hair than what I’m using in this video.
How do you get your hair to stayed tucked in
This would have to show up in my recommended shorts the day I finished installing 100 mini twists left over right. 🤦🏽♀️
I swear i did this style but i struggle with my real hair showing when i fo the twist...like literally my real hair sticks out of each twist...i...but i loveeee this style...just wish i could get my real hair to not stick out of the twists

How where you doing before ?
I literally hate this hair. Took me forever to figure that out.
How do one used left hand will get this style
I’m left-handed lol
Looks like your real hair. I would have never known that you had added hair.
I geeeeet iiiit nowwww but it's uncomfortable and I can't get them tight like that

My hair doesn’t look quite like yours since my hair is thinner and it’s my first time. But next time should I do this, or does it only apply when you add on fake hair?
This is only for adding this specific type of synthetic hair to your head
Wait wait wait I twist with my right hand but should I be twisting inwards or outwards? Does that make a difference or just which hand I use? I find twisting outwards much easier for me than twisting inwards tbh
😪 I can't twist right over left.
Goddddd I just in Knotless braids n I wanted to put in sift locs next but these calling my name so bad
Thank u
You’re welcome 🫶🏽
Thanks
Meanwhile, my twists look gunny as hell right now cuz I twisted the wrong way
And I see this the day after I get my hair done 🤦🏽♀️
THIS IS WHY- WOw
Rope twist. Twist as you twist
@@ravinj8625 I’m not doing a rope twist
Shout out to all my left handed people who are contemplating how that is even possible.
Twisting right over left? 🤔🤔What? 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
😄😄
It's very possible! Sincerely, a fellow leftie lol
What brand of hair
NOOO ITS NO WAYYYYYYY
I feel like it looks more natural when you twist against the grain. The uniformity is a dead giveaway it’s not your own hair.
💯💯💯
That you 😊❤
I'm left-handed 😅
So am I lol
I think she means pattern..
❤❤❤
🐐🐐🐐
Okay but not every curly hair go in the same direction no ? Indeed think my curls go in the opposite direction than the one mentionned in the video 🤔
