    The blurred ring shows a swastika, which was used throughout history before the nazis got it. In Mongolian, it’s called a khas temdeg and represents spirituality or divinity.

      It’s an inverse symbol...not the Nazi symbol

    • @GeorgeSaint666
      @GeorgeSaint666 3 года назад +61

      The swastika on the ring is 45 degrees angled. So it is the nazi swastika, not the Buddhist or Hindu one.
      Also note the St George cross on the other ring. So they were clearly pointing to the nazis. Hench the blur.

    "Hu" is Mongolian for "human." They're simultaneously taking the name of the famous band "The Who" (without violating copyrights) and saying "we're just human beings." But the song (and their folk-rock fusion music in general) has another message: "We are Mongols! We built the largest land empire in the history pf the planet (stretching from the China Sea to Europe) in just two generations. What makes you think we won't do it again?"

All guns combined and bodies counted from their invention by the Han dynasty Chinese in the Iron Age only come into second place. It took them 2000 years to become worldwide in distribution. Bows have been dropping bodies since the Mesolithic.

      I know people who made bows, that can penetrate thick steel plates, and that are not even mongolian bows... There are no bows, as powerfull as mongolian horseriders bows. Used by expert they could even be more dangerous than rifles.

    • @indoorsandout3022
      @indoorsandout3022 2 года назад +5

      @@crazy-4-cooking English War Bows made of Yew wood are actually more powerful, with a bigger arrow. The arrows have to be bigger or the power of the bow will destroy the arrow. It is the height of archery technology to make a 200 lb draw weight bow that can pierce a ship's hull made of oak. I'm an expert archer of 55lb draw hunting bows. But Lars Anderson can draw 120 lb bows easily. Mongolian bows are usually in the 30-45 lb draw range but the speed of them is higher than for wooden bows, because they're made of layers of horn and sinews. I'm growing the wood right now for a laminated longbow of hickory, osage orange, and bamboo with deer sinew, which will have a faster string than yew bows, but the same power level. I plan to cover the wood with the skins of venomous snakes. I make my arrows out of bamboo with turkey feathers, and iron points. I use buffalo horn to re-inforce the arrow nock to keep the bow from splitting the arrow. It distributes the force more evenly. My super-bow should be ready in 10 years. In 8 I'll cut and dry the wood. Then the next year I'll shape and tiller the pieces, then combine them with hide glue, and re-tiller and refine it. Then cover with the snake skin and weave the string with hemp and dacron and bear fur. Then it has to rest for a year to have the moisture right.

    Haha... The reason this appeals to damn near all of us, is that it appeals to the caveman in us. These are the rithms and sounds that have resonated with our souls since prehistoric times. And it's the reason a lot of 'native' sounding songs have been these great hits, wether it's African, Mongolian, native American, Scandinavian or Aborigines. It's harmonious with our souls and we lust for it, cause there's hardly any left of it. All but died out, while we need it desperately... For we are not the descendants of weak men.
    If you are here now, you are at the end of a bloodline that was successful for many thousands of years, and who's ancestors lived, fought, won and died with rithms and sounds like or similar to this!....

    "nothing more beautiful than a patriot." Great statement. Some confuse patriotism with fanaticism. It's not the same thing. Fanaticism is following a cause for the cause sake. Patriotism is following your home, your neighbors, your community, your state, your nation to an ideal that supports, defends, and improves it. That doesn't make all forms of it right or wrong, but you can at least respect someone who believes in their home and people even if you don't agree with them. At the end of the day when the fighting is done, everyone just wants to go home to what they know and loved.

    This original is so great. I remember when I was introduced to it from a friend and was hooked. They also sang this song featuring Jacob Haddix from Papa Roach giving it a completely different feel and vibe, would definitely suggest checking that one on your own time only if you're interested in checking that out. Otherwise, love your reactions. They're really genuine and measured.

    Their whole album is amazing! Buy it. It's called "The Gereg" (get the deluxe version!). Really cool dudes too.
    For reference, I mostly listen to hip hop & indie rock, but I can't ignore 🔥 music when I hear it.

    Yes. This beautiful song circles around and owns you and now it’s part of my musical journey. This song along with others changes me and lifts my mind and heart. I played this twice and the third time my dog howled. Yes! He gets it!
