I clicked the link to the thumb grip but how come the little black part of the thumb grip isn't in the pictures? Do I have to order a separate piece to get it? I just want that black part of it to match the body of my camera.

researching this cam now for walk around street. i have to disagree with the thumb grip, it blocks the basic functionality of the camera. rest of the stuff seems good. very curious about the zhongyi vs metabones adaptors, i have always used metabones.

Yea, I remember the rush. I was going to buy it on pre order then I stopped and waited. When I saw the Turbo adapter, whew, I pull the trigger real fast.

I will say, this classic design makes me want to use it more than my z6ii 🔥. There is magic.
Nice looking camera. Horrible ergonomics but the point was to have it look like the older Nikon camera it models, the FM2 I believe? I had already ordered the small rig grip (great company) but just ordered a thumb grip too. This video reminded me to order it. Looks easy to drop otherwise. I love the retro looks but want and need it to feel good while shooting. Just ordered a TTArtisans 35mm f1.4 manual focus lens for night shots which was my main motivation for buying this camera. Supposedly, it deals with high ISO's very well. Thanks for doing the video!
NICE! Yea, its hard to hold without the additional accessories. I had to do the same with my Fujifilm X-t3 and x-t30.

I would say yes but there is a little play on the end . The thumb will be a hair loose.
