Hi! So can you plug your pre amps directly into an audio interface and then play with headphones through a DAW? Im moving to an apartment where I can’t really play loud and don’t have any experience playing into a computer. Would I need a pedal like that OX you have? Or would I also need a cab sim? Hi there, you can plug the preamp directly into your audio I/O, without cab sim like OX. Plugins like Celestion cab sim and BIAS Amp agree very good according to my customers. You can also plug into the input of amps like super reverb, in this case the preamp works like drive pedals. Hope this helps :)
