What does the footswitch mod do? Also can you run these directly into something like the ox stop for live situations or is some type of power amp needed?
@@inkblotgaming5080 Thanks. The foot switch is the bypass switch. You can plug it directly into any cab sim, please find some demos in those kinds situation on our channel :)

Hi! So can you plug your pre amps directly into an audio interface and then play with headphones through a DAW? Im moving to an apartment where I can’t really play loud and don’t have any experience playing into a computer. Would I need a pedal like that OX you have? Or would I also need a cab sim? Thanks man!

Hi there, you can plug the preamp directly into your audio I/O, without cab sim like OX. Plugins like Celestion cab sim and BIAS Amp agree very good according to my customers. You can also plug into the input of amps like super reverb, in this case the preamp works like drive pedals. Hope this helps :)
I don’t hear a big difference at all, yes some will vary but that’s normal with these vintage pedals. I have found a deal for a made in Taiwan one. Is it any good from your experience? Should I buy it or should I hunt for a made in Japan one. Or are the differences from your tests minimal and barely audible ?
Thank you for your comment, definitely there’s no big difference between them. I highly recommend to get TW one if you don’t care about the resale price, any unit will sound almost the same. Hope this helps :)
@@peacehill5161 thank you for your fast reply. I’ve seen many people talking online that the made in Japan is better quality and has this magic chip that contributes to the tone. But after some research I found that the chip or the manufacturer ( Japan or Taiwan) doesn’t affect the tone at all. I’ve seen the Japan ones more beat up and higher prices than the Taiwan ones in really good condition with the original box. But I think after your video and your reply I will buy the Taiwan one if it’s really not that different :)

Hey man, it’s recorded with universal audio ox box, directly into the interface! The speaker which was emulated in it was “boutique 12*2” kinda thing but I’m not sure haha

There shouldn't be any big differences that could be heard with an ordinary ear, if the factory made them, then it's a series, same parts, manufacturing method. What I hear here, which could be called a difference, is pedal no. 7, in the sense that it is a shade lighter and slightly stronger in tone. If it makes any difference at all. In my opinion, how a pedal will sound depends solely on the guitarist himself, his fingers, the energy and feeling he brings to what he is doing. ps. are all these TS 10 yours? 😀
Yes, there's no "big" difference but in fact there is "small" difference since they have different parts by lot and tolerances. But it's hardly audible or noticeable anyway, so you don't have to pay extra hundreds of bucks to get a MIJ unit rather than MIT one...💀 All of them are mine haha
