Twd is such a good show in my opinion, I started watching it when it first aired up until Glenn died, the way they killed him off was one of the most brutal things I've seen on any TV show or movie. I've just started re watching it and at the start I didn't realize how smart the zombies or walkers are, like first couple of episodes they're using rocks to smash open windows and running and opening doors and shit, and it makes sense that later on in the series they just become walking bags of mush thst can't run fast or think to do something because they're so degraded.
The reason for this is during filming season 2 they fired Frank Darabont the director of season 1. He was behind the idea that the zombies had some rest humanity/intelligence in them, bc he wanted the zombies to be a threat. But this idea was thrown away when they switched directors. It's a interesting topic bc darabont was pretty good in his job, he was the director of Shawshank Redemption, The Mist, The Green Mile and other great films. He had already a plan for atleast the first 5 seasons, and i think it was a huge mistake from amc to fire him. His departue was also the reason that the actors of dale, lori and shane left, bc they were on his side. But tbh shane would've get killed anyways bc of the plot. I love the first 6 seasons of twd, but i think in overall quality and consistency Darabont would have made a more grounded show with less episodes per season like breaking bad And to the second part, that doesn't really make sense bc if it was like this every person who dies and becomes a fresh walker should act like the s1 walkers, but we have never seen that again since s1. And if we wanna be realistic, the walkers should be gone in about 3-4 in the summer bc their body would be decomposed. Nahh the writers in the later season just dropped the idea with zombies being an actual threat bc they're stupid buffoons. And now in the 3. part of season 11 they suddenly brought them back tf. It's a shame that a cool show like twd has become a joke bc of incompetent writers
@@struan8467 people who stopped watching BECAUSE of Glenns death are pathetic that was peak twd, it's a apocalyptic zombies show, it has to be brutal, but they fucked up when they decided to make the show less brutal, more stupid and more of a soap opera with zombies elements than a zombies show with soap opera elements like in the earlier seasons. And the writing became so bad in all out war and season 9 you could think a 12 year old Lgbtq girl is the main writer lmao and people who stopped in season 7, 8 made no mistake imo and i wish i was on of them lol And tbh abrahams death was worse, bc he was a better character than glenn who made nothing exciting since the prison era, aside from his fake dumpster death in s6💀
Joe saying that 28 Days later is the best zombie movie ever just makes me happy. Because it's also my favorite zombie movie. It makes a lot of sense to though because those are the only kind of zombies that would realistically take over the world.
Day of the dead is up there too , the acting is corny and totally pointless for most of it but its one of the only zombie films where the people have gone down into a bunker , which is the logical thing to do
Nah season 3 was peak, in terms of the production and balance of conflict with the dead and ppl. I will say that negan was a great character but shit gets more and more complicated at that point and beyond
It got boring after they met negative. Too much of the same thing, another conflict with another group and walkers aren't scary anymore. At least daryl dixon show they are scary afain
The reason the zombies keep coming back is everyone is already infected so when they die they turn so these new communities get take over again and again. Weird how they don't lock people in their houses better inside the communities. Best zombie movies ever Dawn of the Dead and 28 days later.
I personally watched The Walking Dead until the end for two reasons: First one is that I started watching it when it first came out, and the show is like 11 years old now so it was starting to feel nostalgic before it even finished. And the second reason is that it's one of the more realistic zombie shows when you compare it to blockbuster Hollywood movies like World War Z where zombies literally form massive waves and take down skyscrapers with their combined force of friendship. I'm a big fan of apocalyptic shows and had began reading the comics so it was fun for me to see how they would recreate the comic events in a live-action show. It was definitely not great through its 11 years of runtime and they had their massive fuckups but it was good enough for me to watch it. And fortunately they are doing a few spinoffs to fix some of their fuckups and I am waiting to see those because I need to see justice done for the ways they ruined the show with some bad decisions.
TBH, the arrow going through the skull, even if it doesn't have some fancy broadhead, is not dumb at all. There is a lot of power in these arrows. I remember making myself a target, because store-bought ones are expensive, out of two hay bales (the small square ones) tied together with rope and I just leaned them onto a wooden pallet and put a paper target on them. I was hoping the hay would gently stop the arrows I was firing, which had those small pointed tips that Joe is talking about, in order not to damage my arrows when hitting something solid. I fired an arrow at the target and the tip went through the hay bale, hit one of the ~2cm boards on the pallet, went straight through the board and was sticking out about 10cm out of the other side of the board. I'm fairly certain a skull is harder than a wooden board, but it's certainly not as thick as the board I shot and it certainly seems to me based on this experience that the arrow probably would have enough power to penetrate the skull. Edit: forgot to add I have a 35lb recurve bow, so if you were firing a much stronger compound bow there would be even more power behind that arrow.
Anyone who says 1-3 are the only good ones are delusional. 4 is the best season, 5 is good, 6 is good, 9 is good, 10 is alright but inconsistent, and 11 is alright
As a Walking Dead fan.... 1. One would assume that maybe because they're decomposing at a rapid rate considering the heat of the south that they're skulls are easier to penetrate. 2. It's quite possible that those arrow heads are the only ones they were able to acquire. I'm only responding to this and dropping my 2 cents because I just hit the pax.

Walking dead zombies should have started dying off in a matter of days. But they get to ignore biology, so instead they somehow last for years. According the CDC episodes, they're basically just feral humans with no higher brain function and a tendency towards cannibalism.

Theo reminds me of Karl Pilkington at times. He has some funny ideas but at the same time they kind of make sense in some weird way if you think about them. But was probably unintentional. So for example the joke about zombies F'ing. The thing with zombies is that they basically run on primal instinct to feed. So wouldn't procreation also be one of the most powerful primal instincts too? So if you go with the whole idea behind a zombie then you would have to concede that this would perhaps be a thing too. 🤣

It’s ass
Ah u one of those betas
@@omgsnaggy the "i sToPPeD wAtCHINg aFtER gLeNN DiEd" gang?
I love the first 6 seasons of twd, but i think in overall quality and consistency Darabont would have made a more grounded show with less episodes per season like breaking bad
And to the second part, that doesn't really make sense bc if it was like this every person who dies and becomes a fresh walker should act like the s1 walkers, but we have never seen that again since s1.
And the writing became so bad in all out war and season 9 you could think a 12 year old Lgbtq girl is the main writer lmao and people who stopped in season 7, 8 made no mistake imo and i wish i was on of them lol
And tbh abrahams death was worse, bc he was a better character than glenn who made nothing exciting since the prison era, aside from his fake dumpster death in s6💀
Joe saying that 28 Days later is the best zombie movie ever just makes me happy. Because it's also my favorite zombie movie. It makes a lot of sense to though because those are the only kind of zombies that would realistically take over the world.
As a Brit it feels fhugin' good to hear Joe call 28 Days Later the best zombie movie of all time, and I agree with him.
Day of the dead is up there too , the acting is corny and totally pointless for most of it but its one of the only zombie films where the people have gone down into a bunker , which is the logical thing to do
Theo telling jokes that Joe missed is hilarious Theo is a comics favorite comic 😂😂😂
Blood gays was fantastic and Joe is the worst
The walking dead wasn’t just about the walkers, it was about the conflicts between the factions as well. The Negan drama was the peak of TWD
Twd??
Nah season 3 was peak, in terms of the production and balance of conflict with the dead and ppl. I will say that negan was a great character but shit gets more and more complicated at that point and beyond
@@Training_Tsuna_ S4 and 5 to me was always better than 3
I hasn’t been watching TWD since I finished watching negan situation. Shit got not it, it wasn’t it anymore
I still love TWD and it’s Ones Who Live Spin-off with Michonne and Rick, and Darryl Dixon spinoff, and the Dead City spinoff with Maggie and Negan.
Twd is the best zombie show series out there and you cant tell me otherwise
Theo has Daryl vibes
That was probably the most confusing 4 mins I watched. Honestly love these two 🎉
I personally watched The Walking Dead until the end for two reasons: First one is that I started watching it when it first came out, and the show is like 11 years old now so it was starting to feel nostalgic before it even finished.
"it's like they're made out of goo" LMAO
My wife is a big fan of TWD. She keeps rewatching Seasons 1-3, so I asked her why.
She said those were the only good seasons. I can't help but agree.
Popularity peaked in season 6 how is it only good in season 3?
Anyone who says 1-3 are the only good ones are delusional. 4 is the best season, 5 is good, 6 is good, 9 is good, 10 is alright but inconsistent, and 11 is alright
Damn. I need a podcast of them watching movies and providing commentary
Love that Joe said that about 28 Days later. 100% agree!!!!!
Walking dead zombies: 🧟♂️
World War Z zombies: 💨💨💨🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
I'm pretty sure this video was intended as a cure for depression. This one of the funniest conversations I've heard between these 2.
Season 9 of TWD is 🔥
Top 5 season no doubt
That clip finished just before John Wick whammed his fork right through old Dracula's right eyeball.
great guest and banter
It would not be easy to wipe out the zombies, in the walking dead universe the humans are outnumbered 5,000 to 1
Lol
Imagine the US army struggling to take out walking dead zombies after the outbreak. Makes no sense.
@@onmywayup94 the US military did beat the zombies in a few places. That’s how the CRM, Omaha, and Portland all remained functional cities and the commonwealth in the last couple seasons was set up by the sitting president and the army at the time. Pamela is his daughter
Um dude you're wrong. If there is any government alive its superior to those zombies. Twd 8s the best zombie scenario to ever be in. That's how dumb it is
@M "makes no sense"
If the Navy gets screwed up you lost 90%of your effectiveness due to maintenance of aircraft.
Walking dead zombies should have started dying off in a matter of days. But they get to ignore biology, so instead they somehow last for years. According the CDC episodes, they're basically just feral humans with no higher brain function and a tendency towards cannibalism.
I think about if I would survive a zombie apocalypse more than I should
I’m good at avoiding people, so I think I’d at least survive the initial chaos and downfall of civilization. Lol
I think I'd be fucked just because I live in Australia, I genuinely think most people would die here to spider and snake bites then zombies. Plus how fucken hot it gets here, only real bush experts would go on for a bit. I reckon I could go a few months.
Which type of zombie apocalypse.
I'm assuming you're referring to the weak as Walker dead zombies
Joes description of a walking dead zombie apocalypse actually sounds peaceful
“If they were dumb, then you were dumb” had me dying 😂😂😂
"Oh, i dont know much about arrows" - Theo Von
😂😂😂
Theo reminds me of Karl Pilkington at times. He has some funny ideas but at the same time they kind of make sense in some weird way if you think about them. But was probably unintentional. So for example the joke about zombies F'ing. The thing with zombies is that they basically run on primal instinct to feed. So wouldn't procreation also be one of the most powerful primal instincts too? So if you go with the whole idea behind a zombie then you would have to concede that this would perhaps be a thing too. 🤣
Joe: “There was no internet”
Theo: “Yeah you'd always ask somebody, if they were dumb then you were dumb”
😂😂😂
“i don’t remember that good at the moment” me all the time
One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen was an outtake of Gary Oldman fully dressed as old Dracula getting mad at the director stomping out of the room with a production assistant carrying the train to his robe! 😂
Theo is pushing through with the zombie thing and joe just keeps on shooting it down 😂😂😂
"Yea man back in the day when if the person that told you something was dumb then you wer dumb" Theos a legend
Lmfao “blood gays, a lot of people call them.” 😂😂
Most informative interview I’ve ever watched
"imma Take a Brake and shut the door, Take a nap on the Kitchen Floor"!! Joe got Bars man 😂✌️
Joe knowing nothing archery always makes me laugh
“And then he licks the blade” *bear noise* *slurp slurp slurp* 😂
28 Days/Weeks later isn’t a zombie movie tho….. they tell you right at the beginning of “Days” that it’s a rage virus, not a necrotizing/decaying zombie virus
"you ask someone, if he's dumb then you're dumb "😅😅😂
“Quarantine “ best zombie movie ever
Joe pretty much summed up Dead Island 2 with the brewing coffee then killing zombies 😂
Joe would get real quiet when the walkers start turning the door nobs and breaking the windows 😂
"You're the zombie." timing was perfect.
