- Mary Magdalene…Mother Mary…and some women who aren’t in the Bible. The Chosen has gotten praise AND criticism for its portrayal of and approach to the women in this Jesus story. Here’s an excerpt of what our lead actresses in The Chosen have to say about it.

I am ashamed of this but until The Chosen came out, I never held the Women of the Bible in that great of esteem. This show has taught me different in so many way's. I have a greatly expanded appreciation for their roles and deeds. I have gone back and re read the stories about them and re thought what they went through and how important they were. I look forward to learning more as time goes by. Thank you Ladies and btw,,Thanks also to Dallas, Lol.
Thank you for your honesty. It is so refreshing to see lovely changes in thought patterns.
Don't be ashamed, we all grow and learn we can look back at our past as a learning lesson. God bless you
Same here, but also coz in previous bible movies women didnt get much of an arch, Im really glad that the chosen is different 🙂
❤❤❤
Luke 8:1-3 - Jesus's biggest financiers.....? Women, including Mary Magdalene, Susanna, Joanna, and many others unnamed. All women.
I came out of a religious tradition that will put down women in every sermon. At one time I cried out to God "Why did you create something that you despised?!"
Then I began to read the Bible for myself instead of just listening to sermons. I read the book of Luke and I loved how Jesus treated women and talk to them in the book of Luke. The Lord help me to understand that these men who preached the way they did did not know Him. They knew nothing of His heart. I have just begun to watch The Chosen series. After watching this I look forward to seeing the rest of it.
THank you for sharing this
Thank you for sharing sister. I was once in that same situation! When I was newly saved and very young in knowing God, I didn’t get into scripture that much, and had no spiritual discernment. After Hearing what all these false Christians had to say, I cried to God and asked, “lord, why do you favor men? What have my brothers done better for you that we cannot?” The lord lead to me scripture and revealed to me the truth about how he sees women. The lord loves us all the same and we all have equally important roles. Jesus is for women! ❤️✝️ women are extremely valuable and powerful to God! The devil tries to make people think otherwise.
Your comment is spot on. They don't know Jesus. God bless.
I appreciate and understand your comment on how religion, as led and taught by men, has traditionally put down women. But I hope, as an old lady, I can open your eyes to see that Dallas Jenkins is no exception.
After watching the first 3 seasons of The Chosen I came away with the distinct impression that Dallas Jenkins and the other credited writers (all male) probably have low opinions of, and possibly poor relationships with, the women in their lives, no different than the pastors you were subjected to growing up.
They portrayed Mary Magdalene according to Pope Gregory The Great's deliberate falsification that she was the same person as Mary of Bethany who was a prostitute with seven demons. It is well documented in the Bible these were two different women, and it is well known that Gregory fully made this up in a series of sermons he gave around 1590. Jenkins added to this that Mary Magdalene was also an alcoholic and fully psychotic, if not satanic, as well. And I guess Jesus must have missed the mark here (as if this were even possible) because she wasn't fully healed anyway. it becomes clear as the seasons unfold that she's unable to get over it because she also suffers from chronic depression and anxiety. In short, Mary is portrayed as a mess and there is no evidence of this in the Bible.
Simon's fabricated wife in the movie is also eventually depicted as an emotional, unreasonable, abusive woman who tortures her husband because he can't read her mind to understand why she's abruptly shutting him out and mistreating him. The eventual dialogue between them is laughable as Simon pleads with his wife to tell him why she has refused to speak to him for weeks, with her reply basically being 'well, if you loved me you'd just know!' Simon eventually blames himself and agonizes over his poor, justified wife, finally blaming Jesus.
In short summary, all of the key women, with the exception of Thomas' girlfriend, are portrayed as emotionally damaged, and sometimes manipulative and abusive women. This is not biblical, but it certainly is in keeping with the way many churches have depicted women over the centuries.
(As a side note, Jenkins often depicts the apostles as lazy, complaining, fighting school boys as well.)
On the plus side, my son was able to use the female characters as great examples of the type of women his teenaged son should avoid if he wants a happy life.
I hope young women (and young men) will recognize the misogynistic depiction of women here and not view them as role models.
I haven not watched the show yet, and was thinking about doing so. Thank you for your description, it seems that men are incapable of respecting women.@@L.J.01
As a woman I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing women playing a bit more active role yet keeping it in context.
We are so blessed to have the show at a time when the world is in so hectic and hearts can get faint. God bless you all in your endeavors on this and Christ plan's for our future brothers and sisters.
Yeah same here, althought i wish they could have at least one that breaks genderroles a bit more though hehe, I love this show also 😇
“I see you. You have a role to play in all of this… “ was just what I needed to hear this Sabbath morning….
Including all people behind scenes.. The research, script, music... Make us feel so real as if we lived in the times of Jesus.... and made me feel asking, smiling and watching the Miracles and listening to Jesus live walking beside Him...
Wow everysecond was so special... Even now keep watching all miracles again and again... Can't get enough watching...
So beautifully created The Chosen... Salute your dedication and commitment to bring Jesus to reality in today's chaotic world where people drift away from Christ-ian Faith.. Waiting for the Season-3..
We are a huge group of Fans in India - of all age groups
Wish to hear a special appreciation mention from you in your presentations...
You are a living testimOny ..
Awesome . God bless the Team *The Chosen*
Amen
As a guy, I am really pleased to see how these women have been treated/depicted! All too often we forget that they were real people too with their own uniqueness and challenges (especially in a patriarchal society). Kudos to the actors who were able to bring genuine life to these minimized heros!
Jesus also preferred women ! He chose to appear to women first . This is a huge sign from God to women : God sees us female friends and the discret , faithful , invisible , hard and efficient work we do everyday all over the world ! Dallas I was deeply touched by the fact you chose to put forward women , people of color and handicapped people . Merci 💙
I have lived many years in India (half my adult life), travelled extensively for about 5 years and been to remote areas in India. With this background I really do appreciate the efforts taken in The Chosen series to show the Bible stories and characters of the Bible in a culturally relevant way that, in my view, makes it easier for people living in very different cultures and traditions to watch this and be impacted by who Jesus really was and what a difference he made in peoples lives (especially for women, children and outcasts!) as he identified and lived with them. I think that is why it is being received so well in so many countries. Please keep up this very good work! How Jesus related to children is really another very important matter in the Bible and in many cultures!
I absolutely adore the women cast on The Chosen. Because they bring a dimension to the show that we usually don't see in bible related media. They're depth and performances always blow me away. And Dallas along with his writing team are always on the money. So good. God is really doing something amazing with this show.
This show is so amazing, every time I watch any episode I see something new. Last night I watched s2e3 again and noticed something about mother Mary. In the circle she told everyone about Jesus’ birth and then very honestly told them it makes her sad sometimes that her son doesn’t need her anymore. Then at the end when Jesus is exhausted and filthy, she takes his robe and removes his sandals and cleans the blood off of him. He tells her, “what would I do without you eema” and kisses her. Soooo beautiful. As though he knew what she had said and felt earlier, even though he wasn’t there. Incredible writing!!
My favorite scene in this episode, especially when she told him to get some sleep and he said "Okay", showing obedience and respect.
I love that episode
@@taralohman6492 Me, too. I was a little worried it would be boring, based on the title (just an endless series of healings). But it was done beautifully, and the scenes "around the campfire" were remarkable. In particular the way the women contributed. And yeah, the scene at the end, as He walked past them, and Mary's expression...
For me it was the most impactful scene of the three seasons.
It showed our Lord giving His all... to the point of physical pain and exhaustion while the apostles were busy being selfish and argumentative.
I cried like a baby... all three times I watched it.
What an awesome and loving God we serve... and what a special savior.
these women literally light up every scene they are in. So much grace, power and beauty in their acting! Truly heaven sent! More beautiful inside and out than any other actresses on any streaming show on EARTH and they don't need to resort to anything but a smile! what a blessing and a guide for all of us. these are the women we need as role models for our youth. thank you all so much!
I love how Jesus showed how important women are even though society as a whole sometimes devalues them. Jesus said, no, women are important. I think it's wonderful that The Chosen shows this.
I just discovered this show two days ago and binged watched season 1...before going to season 2, I watched season 1 again. 👏👏👏 It is just brilliant! Amazing!! Sooo inspiring....so Jesus!
When is season 3??😁 I look forward to being a blessing to this movement of storytelling. Thank you 🙏
Thank you for this show. The way Jesus is portrayed with grace in every circumstance is the reason so many of us watch. ❤️
Elizabeth Tabish (Mary of magdala) is a great actress! She plays the role so well, and some of her dialogue was so heart warming. I especially like the way she said that we couldn't be holy without Him. It was very humble!
Yeah she is my favorite❤😇
"We *couldn't be holy without Him" 100 percent!
All of the women have been superbly cast, and play their roles with impeccable character and class.
The one thing that really hooked me on The Chosen was the portrayal of life behind the snippets we have as scripture. John states that if everything Jesus did was written down, the world could not contain the books. That’s just for Jesus. All the while, there were the 12 apostles, countless disciples, and all these had family and friends that were impacted by Jesus.
Mary and Mary are mentioned a lot in scripture. Ramah is an add in for the show that just works. But Eden, Eden is of significant importance to myself and my wife as I have been called to preach. She had some of the greatest scenes in season one. Life still goes on at home while one is out in the ministry.
In your comment, I can hear the way you treasure your own wife! Has brought tears to my eyes! It is a great treasure to me to find a man who isn’t afraid to truly love his wife. There’s just too little of that these days. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful and well written comment!
Amen!!! Love this so much! GOD Bless you all siblings! GOD Bless your marriages, families, and ministries in Christ! Amen!
I like that they added Ramah because the bible says that multiple women including mary went with Jesus and the 12 apostles. Someone like Ramah could have very well existed.
This show has touched my heart so many times. Hope you guys do a series on Paul at some point, I think that would be tremendous. I would love to see The Chosen interpret his Damascus Road encounter with the risen Christ and also just his experiences in general and the way he many times praised women in the church in his epistles.
The scene between Eden and Jesus (mentioned in the conversation) and the words exchanged are very powerful and inspiring. Jesus highlighted in a very significant way the importance of women and the unique roles they play in life- and that they are worthy of total respect. This is so appropriate for present times too. He shows that men and women each have unique roles to play in life and sometimes these roles cannot be revised as we are created in such a way to fit these roles. Our emotional and strength levels are uniquely built to suit these roles. The women's role highlighted in "the Chosen' is of caring, loving, patience, nurturing and keeping things together which is what God wanted- a special creature to nurture a family...a society... God gave us Mary as the perfect Role model supported by many other wonderful, faith filled women in the Bible! Thank you for the wonderful way 'The Chosen' brings out the value of a Women's role, just as it is meant to be according to God's Plan. God's Blessings to all involved in the making of this inspiring show.
The problem with these "roles" is that all too often, they're misused to imprison people into their "place" and deprives them of the freedom to be what God has made them to be since we are each much more than just our gender.
I was impressed from the very beginning with Elizabeth Tabish performance. What her character and message is so powerful and empathetic.
Congratulations to all of the actresses in The Chosen, God bless you!
Thank you for these interviews - for even considering doing these interviews with the female cast members. I'm sure many believe The Holy Spirit is guiding The Chosen endeavor. We will continue to pray for the whole team. Again, thank you.
Great stuff! I like how Venessa wonders about how the women back then behaved towards men. Very interesting stuff! I love all the female characters
This project is Anointed by God!
It has touched so many lives!
I Pray Continued success!
God Bless all of you who make it happen!!!🙏🙏❤️❤️
i love this show. can’t wait for season three
These women have fallen into their biblical roles very well. I admire them. Keep up the great work and may God continue to bless your endeavors. Shalom.
Love watching these ladies! Sometimes it really feels like someone is representing me in these scenes.
*Christ had not a sexist bone in his body* God does not discriminate, amen. 🤍☺️
So cute! What great ladies! So proud of your work and how much you touch my heart! After being born in the fifties I can actually identify with this lifestyle a lot more than those of latter generations. My mother was a stay at home mom!
Hallelujah, I thoroughly enjoyed watching every woman's acting. They were excellent.
Spiritual wisdom supersedes conventional wisdom. Thank you for putting that emphasis in The Chosen! I'm inspired "to see" all those who feel isolated and invisible.
I love how supportive and encouraging the women are to the Jesus Disciples and others. Their presence and feminine contributions are so important as are the men’s. Different roles but same worth and value❤️
I love this series! I am so glad that we see more about the woman and what it must have been like for them.
Because of this series i have been diving deeper inti the Bible and plan to look deeper into the woman who played a role in the life of Jesus.
Excellent actresses. I'm looking forward for seasons to come.
Great conversation with our wonderful women of The Chosen. I didn't want it to end. But ah..we must wait for the special edition DVD of S2! It's on my list since I got the S1 version!
Let's hope these extras will be on the app too, since viewers in Europe can't make use of DVDs with US format.
I have both seasons 1 &2
@@michaelottto7461 S2 Special Edition has not released yet. Just the original S2.
My husband is a teacher, and he says that he likes working with women much more than men. He says that men talk about cars and sports, boring. But women talk about everything, much more rounded. He’s extraordinary, but I’m prejudiced obviously. I’m dismissed by men when I speak more often than not. But women tend to be more accepting by in large. Just my experience in my long years.
Awesome women, portraying such wonderful characters who once lived and breathed on the earth! Thank you!
living up to one's expectations, in the fulfillment of the obligations of role-playing for women, while living the character must've been immensely satisfying.
I can't WAIT FOR SEASON 3 !! THIS series makes me feel much closer to Jesus ❤️ and ✝️🛐 s
GOD IS IN THIS WITH YOU...THE WORLD NEEDS THIS MESSAGE....NOW.......MORE THAN EVER. GOD WATCH OVER YOU, BLESS YOUR LABORS, BRING THOSE IN WHO WILL MOVE THIS WORK FORWARD....TO GLORIFY HIM.
I am so ready for season 3! Thank you so much ladies!
Lara. Thank you for those Holy Spirit filled words. I needed to hear that right now.
Thank you for considering the fulfillment of women’s spirit filled roles in a Biblical depiction. The humility and purpose go hand in hand. Men had a purposeful presence to provide a guardianship/umbrella/apron of protection for future generations or design. Preservation of God’s People, for a future series, women had a devine purpose and character.
“The Chosen Women”
“The Chosen Seed” series.
Just recently watched "The Messangers". Vanessa and Liz nailed the mother-daughter chemistry when Mother Mary told the Nativity story to Mary Magdalene. Methinks, one of the best scenes ever shot for The Chosen, perhaps next to the Walking on Water scene in S3 and Jesus forgiving Mary Magdalene in S2.
And the actress who portrayed Young Mary and Joseph made their love story comprehensive and not just cheesy. Bravo on that!
Lara was very much perfect as Eden, and complements Shahar's role as Simon Peter.
As for Yas, I can only wish for more scenes with her as Ramah even if she's busy with her acting for NCIS.
Each of these female actors has done a fantastic job! I love this show and do believe God will really use it to glorify Himself!
I love how deep this scene goes with us. So excited for the seasons to come. Loved the interaction of these female characters and the story that is unfolding as they play their roles as actors with The Chosen. Very interesting show
Looooooove the women on the chosen ❤️ God bless ❤️
I can easily imagine, that every woman that came into contact with Jesus, but especially his disciples, probably felt truly seen, valued, and Loved in a way that they had never experienced in their life before that...
You mentioned Marie Magdalene at the tomb.
I love how you picture Mary Magdalene and her wisdom, not over-thinking confidence in Christ, in the moments when Jesus leaves and men fear, that is a foretaste of her behaviour after the crucifixion, when all the men flee (except Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea), but pleaaaase don't choose only John's version of the after crucifixion !
In all the other Gospels, it is said that a group of women came to the tomb (at least 2 Marie, but I like the orthodox tradition which combines all the Gospels and considers that also Salome, Joana, Susanna, Mary, and Martha, where also there for Jesus' anointing, in this group we call the "Myrrhbearers”). Your show, with all the backstories, is such a great opportunity to picture and incarnate this beautiful moment of faith and hope that, in these women, overpasses dangers and fears of the moment, I hope so much that you'll include at least some of them too !
(And I hope you'll develop a little bit Salome, more like a follower of Christ, and not only as a good-cooking, protective (and probably proud) mom, which is nice but a little bit frustrating, but I’m biased, as I love her character, from the Gospel, and also in the show, for what we’ve seen of her). (sorry for the perhaps awkward English of a French speaker)
Anyway, thank you for this beautiful show that brings so much joyfull faith in our daily life.
I can’t think of better women to play the female rolls! They do such a fantastic and beautiful job! 👏🏻💙💙
This is AMAZING Dallas!! It's very easy to miss in our Bible that many women follow Jesus where as the Jewish faith does mention these women (why they hated Jesus as well) because women were deemed so beneath men. It's a beautiful portrayal! Love them all so much ❤️
I love the Chosen! The best cast, crew and a genius director and very talented actor as Jesus!
We love you, Dallas!
It’s true I can’t imagine a video without him. It’s like he’s an essential character.
Where was the woman at the well in this? Love these actors (when did we stop saying actress)?
These ladies are very good at their profession. Their hearts are obvious.
Awesome casting.
Cannot wait for season 3. Love love love you all! 💕💜🌟
I’ve enjoyed watching each of your characters develop as individual personalities. It’s also how I view people, regardless of gender, although, I do believe God created Man physically stronger than women, and most Women the more sensitive and discerning part of any relationship. Each of you was Chosen to play the characters you are & I can’t imagine anyone else doing so. Great Job, Ladies! 🥰🙏
I wish we could add Tamar, Fotina, young Mary, and any other women that are missing to this! These 4 are epic of course but I love the other ladies as well!
God bless these womens and their families in christ Amen ! GODS glory
Every character in the Chosen was meant for that specific role that they played, I don't have a favorite, can't wait for season three, I hope the Lord tarries so we can finish watching the whole series, Love it.
So great to speak out your feelings etc to be honest with yourself as others
It is wonderful indeed to have The Chosen point out how important women were, are and will always be… the mental strength of the world 🌎. Not being biased or anything. LOL 😆 My Fiancé just pointed out that These women have been ‘ Chosen ‘ for The Chosen. AW. ♥️
As a woman I believe that there is a huge misconception of the serving role that we have. Serving men and others in general is not being under, lower or lesser than anyone, in the contrary it’s an essential nurturing role. To illustrate that in the Bible God himself says that He is serving us, Jesus came on earth to redeem humanity and He cleansed the feet of His disciples. Serving is one of the highest role one can have in this life, we women should feel blessed, highly favoured and honoured to be lend this task. But it is true that it has always led to these types of misconceptions, again it’s a choice we make to embrace the truth in the meaning of everything, this only come with The intimacy we build With our Creator through His Word and prayer 🙏🏻 thank you for the work you are doing to share the gospel!
Amen to that! ✝️
But all Chrstans are called to serve one another? It's not a gender role?
@@Contrarian-v7p of course all Christians are called to serve one another’s. Husbands are the leaders of their families by serving them. It’s very interesting to read the Bible in light of the fact that Jesus is the husband of the whole church’s body, leading and loving it. But the enemy has corrupted the hearts of some men in power and made them oppressive leaders, leading violently for their own gain and not with love as their motive, and it has been interpreted that women had a lesser role because the Bible says husbands lead and wives follow. That is how the feminist movement, also conducted by the enemy’s lies and the historical damages he produced, builds itself, saying that there was throughout history an oppressive relationship where all men oppressed all women and that it was rooted in the Bible (there are many many feminists texts basing their criticisms directly on the scriptures).
Which is a false interpretation of a deception that the enemy has created corrupting the hearts of many. For having a role of nurturing your family and following your husband’s leading is not one of an oppressive nature, but a great sustaining responsability with an immense impact on the lives of your family members, the whole community and the nation. A husband and father that loves his family lead it with care, kindness, discipline (the word disciples comes from the disciplines of the rabbi that their students followed) and with in his mind the best interest of his entire community and nation, directed towards the love of God, service and help to others and spreading the good news of the salvation of mankind by Jesus’s sacrifice.
@@mariecorbisier Wives were treated as cattle before Christ. Men could divorce their wives under Jewish law if they burned the food. The men would say a prayer every morning thanking God that they were not made slaves, Gentiles, animals or women. Women were not allowed to read or be taught the Torah. It was said that the Torah would better be burnt than to fall into the hands of a woman. Women's testimony was not considered reliable in Jewish court. Women were not allowed to be educated at all. They were not even allowed inside the temple and for centuries, were believed to not have been made in the image of God. These are all historical facts as recorded by Jewish people, carried out by Jewish men. Still think the oppression of women is a "feminist lie"? P.s. the bible never once tells men to lead their wives. The word "lead" is never used once. Just saying. That's adding to the bible.
@@mariecorbisier Yes, you're right in that a husband's leadership is one of love and caring for, but Ephesians really isn't about hierarchy. That notion is the sinful world corrupting Bible interpretation. First, everything must go back to a teaching of Christ. So, 5:21, submit to one another, wives submit to husbands (receiving and supporting - there is no obey here), and a husband's headship is to love the wife as Christ loves the church, and that means to carry out acts of service to support. There is not who is the boss, no who has the final say. It's just an example of how to live out Christ's command to love one another that touches on aspects of femininity and masculinity. As for feminism, if you vote, have a bank account/loan/mortage in your own name without a male co-signer, then thank a feminist. If you have an education and a job, thank a feminist.
Remember in episode 6 of season 2 when the group was going to the synagogue at Wadi Kelt, notice the gap between the men and the women.
Thanks for sharing. Love these cast members ❤ 🤗🛐💝🙏😇
As a Believer since a very young age, it always puzzled me and frustrated me that there are very few women who were mentioned in the Bible… and there isn’t much known about those few. I would’ve loved it if there had been as much of a focus on both genders equally. (and to those reading this don’t bother reminding me of the “culture back then”) Thanks for this video, and sending lots of blessings to all involved with The Chosen. 💕
There are many notable women in the Bible. Not to mention that the Bible isn't meant to be some representation book. It's a book written by people inspired by the Holy Spirit not a TV show on diversity.
@@eddiy335 Well yes but it's still a book with a backdrop in history where a woman's only value was her ability to produce sons. Many women and girls have struggled with their place in God's heart.
@@eddiy335 I do not appreciate your judgemental overtones. Your assumption that I view the Bible as “…some representation book” is absolutely absurd and downright rude, as well as those who “liked” your comment. Take your comments elsewhere.
Love the females.they are
All 🙌 blessed.and wonderful actors...Jesus
Loved women because they were second class
Citizens..some men still
Treat women that way.when the women, all

Wait to see more of Dallas
Special ladies.cast so perfectly in their roles..
God bless y'all❤
Come on season three! All of these women were superstars!
They are all beautiful! I hardly recognized Mother Mary because she looks so young in person. They make her look older in the movie.
Groundbreaking. The Chosen is opening eyes and minds
Awe love everything the chosen! Beautiful women!
Mary of Magdela has the most wisdom of all of the followers. She has some very wise and impactful views throughout.
I appreciate Ramah as many of us have had to choose Christ over family.
Relating most to Mary Magdalene, Eden becoming my 2nd fav. character (yall can guess The First)... There's so much to learn from all the women of the Bible, AND the women of The Chosen.
And Jesus broke convention by giving greater value to women than the culture gave back then! Jesus♥️♥️♥️
very great acting, Mary Magdelena role made me cry the most.
"You know you're on tape.?" The reason Lizz said this is a needed study in how well we Biblize our culture instead of culturize our Bible. So many, far too often, either write a new version to make it fit into today's culture. Or they just ignore the sections in their current version to maintain the status quo.
Jesus wanted us to "treat women as our sisters."
You all seemed like brothers and sisters in this video, thanks.
I love this portrayal of the Gospel. God revealed to the Blessed Mother first that her Child was the Messiah followed by St. Elizabeth, and Mary’s mother St Ann and then her husband St Joseph. Like all Dad’s we are usually the last to know.😄
Thank you Thank you Thank you and God Bless you all.🙏🙏🙏
All of you are awesome!
Thank you so much for your talents and lives!
Mother Mary has a bigger role than the nativity. (Though that is kind of key). She is an example of saying by yes to God. And that “yes” led to amazing things. She stood at the cross as well, still saying yes and being a model of standing with Christ even when the world goes against him. The two Marys (both with Christ at the cross!) are amazing.
I've never seen a single episode. I will buy it when it comes out on DVD.
Eden is right! When the body of Christ functions like she is suppose to becoming an equal yoke for King Jesus women have a beautiful role to play in His kingdom! I’ve seen and have lived in the mist of a real functioning body with incredible giftedness and anointing. For the sisters weren’t looked at as if we were lesser in the His kingdom there were different roles. The shadow being the physical family. We do have different gifts and responsibilities then the men. It was beautiful to see and be a part of.
I love the women's on the chosen! Hard to pick favorites! Cannot (lol). All the women's, great actors from liz, eden, Mary the mother, tamar, ramah, the woman at the well, salome, the Nicodemus' wife, peter's mother in law, the one who played Liz friend, shulla, All of you women's on the set from the small to big roles! Very impressive! grate job.!
Jesus loves 💘 women's; remember how he loved Lazarus sisters ❤ (one example) : how tender and loving He was towards them. God bless 🙏 all of you.
I watch it over and over again and recommend it when I can.
Thank you, you are lovely! Good job 🌟
What is hard to capture on television is that Jesus, once He was finished with His trials in the desert, He was overflowing with the grace, love, and tangible presence of the Holy Spirit. The presence of the Holy Spirit is more than just an empowerment of equality and liberty among marginalized people groups, but it is this extraordinary sense of magnanimity. This is what drove the woman at the Pharisee’s to weep at Jesus’s feet and wipe his feet with her hair, for the sake of feeling His immense forgiveness and acceptance. I expect that’s what we’d all do if He was right in front of us.
Just love, love, love what you all are doing
Omg. What an amazing group of women! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Is there a dvd out with season one on it please?
I started watching it with a group before Christmas but then I couldn't find it on line to continue watching it.
Love You all soo much!
I SO LOVE ALL OF YOU!! PRAISE GOD HE BROUGHT Y'ALL INTO MY LIFE ~ WOW AMAZING!! 🙇🙏🙇♥️
God bless spread Gods word and his name is you don't know what God is doing but someday you will know repent and turn away from your sin and follow Jesus Christ and put your faith in him and he loves you and so do I no matter what your going through God is right there with you no matter what your going to be fine God bless ..
Esther, and one of the judge was Deborah. In fact, Jews regarded women in high regards, especially if they were rich, high society, or powerful. Other examples, like Mariah, Moses sister. King Solomon mother Bershiba. New teastment Lidya, who was a church leader.
What excellent examples of Christ love in women...yes we loved us very much & was a great protector of women
The way Dallas' hand seemed to move towards Yasmine when he talked about the help he got from his wife made me Google who Dallas' Wife is!
I love Yasmine and would have been a very huge Dallas fan if she was his wife 😂😂😂
Love the Chosen and how they show that Christ held women as equals!
Beautiful - Thank you' for what you' do🤍
God bless you all. This is a great project.
Happy birthday Dallas. Hello to your family.
Me sinto bem representada por todas. Parabéns temos uma brasileira aí Eden, esposa de Pedro 🇧🇷
Mother Mary is so beautiful out of character too... Wow!😍
Why do you still post videos on youtube but not post episodes? Please give us options to watch this series.
Thank you, you all are so beautiful!
The female characters in this series are very compelling.
