I love Jonathan's response. He isn't trying to convince or correct, he just tells the young man to keep exploring. He trusts that God will lead the young man to the truth. It's so refreshing and beautiful to see.

Following Jesus isn’t about feeling good brothers and sisters, it’s about being transformed into the likeness of the Holy God. I feel for the man questioning, but the reality is, if he doesn’t turn to Christ, he is going to hell and that’s scary. He isn’t promised tomorrow…no one is, and if we keep living in sin without the blood of Christ, that is a path leading to destruction. Praying for you

I was 15 when I gave my heart to Jesus and the best advice I could ever give you @rebeccajacob2311 is two fold. First, never forget or under value your worth in this world! You are so valuable that it can't be expressed with words, but words but demonstrated demonstrated by Christ who died for you! ❤️ And secondly, my advice would be to hold onto your faith, really tightly, especially as you navigate the rest of high school and college/university, should you choose to go there. I personally do not agree with this sinful act, however putting that aside (which will be dealt with by God in His timing) The Lord certainly has chosen him to be a vessel, and is working through Johnathan to convey His message to the world. I'm loosely using this comparison, so do not judge me on this, but God used one of the most violent sinners in history, Saul, later to be renamed Paul, to be a vessel and become one of the most influential people in the world for Jesus Christ. And yes, I am aware that Christ is not His last name, but more of a title, like Messiah, but my point in all of this is to not focus on the bad things Johnathan has done in the past, because that's just like someone forever defining you personally on your past screw ups and saying that you can never be taken seriously, or do anything good. I know its easy to do to a celebrity but I just ask that you don't, because you would not like it, nor would I. Have a blessed day.

One should also consider this question; how do those who neither know nor belong to the "Authentic Jesus", present the authentic Jesus? When the Director suggests presentations that attempt to stay true to the Gospels are boring and unrelatable, one who belongs to the Lord should take notice.
Johnathan's portrayal of Jesus definetely comes from God. I believe that God wanted Johnathan to play Him. Johnathan 's belief comes out in his acting. The Chosen has brought me closer to God, and I am so grateful. ♥️🙇♀️♥️🙏🏻♥️

Those who have salvation, have belonged to Jesus before the foundation of the world. If one belongs to Him, then as He declared, nothing will snatch them from Him. In spite of the show or the creator's plausibility, humanization, and lack of knowing the "Authentic Jesus".

For me, I was angry at God for almost a year because my grandpa passed due to his 3rd go around with cancer. He passed before we got back home and I blamed myself and I was angry at God for not letting my mom say goodbye. Just in November, I saw The Chosen on Netflix and decided to watch it because I do love watching shows and documentaries about it and at this time I wasn’t angry anymore but I thought God was angry at me. When Jesus told Mary “You are mine” I felt like he was talking to me through the screen. I broke down, downloaded the Bible app and started to pray, like actually pray. I know have a Bible that i read one or two times a day and I constantly recommend people to watch The Chosen. Thank you for helping me get back to God 💜
I finished watching S1-3. In anticipation for S4, I watched the whole thing again. I still cry at each episode. There’s always one line that speaks to me personally. To God be the glory. Amen.

This was very well made. They gathered people of all sorts of backgrounds who did find some light in this show, instead of just gathering 100% comfortable Christians. Like the show it really captures what the gospel taught in that doctors have no need for the healthy, but the sick.

My brother kept telling me "watch the chosen" for like 1 year but never interested at first. Just this october when I saw a clip on tiktok about the woman who touched the garment of Jesus, that made me watch The Chosen. From season 1 to 3 i was crying coz it touched me so much that I now started reading my bible again after how many years of stopping. the last time I read bible was when I was in highschool. God never left me no matter how many times I rejected Him but now he's calling me again and I feel closer to Him and I live my life for Him. We all change for the better if we put God in our hearts, we live in peace but that doesn't mean no problems and struggles at all but we live with hope that we can all face anything with God in our lives. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ our saviour! God bless all of us 💖

that was BEAUTIFUL 😢😢 Also by the Holy Spirit that man ,that young beautiful man,🎉 is called by the Lord and I will continually hold him in my prayers. Some of us just needed to be called out by God. And this young man needed this. He is so dearly loved.
We're on vacation here in Hatch, Utah and just spent some wonderful Shabbat time enjoying five or six episodes of The Chosen. We are so grateful for what the Lord is doing through Dallas, Amanda and the whole Chosen team. We have come to love these characters and our Savior's life and love are even more real to us. Catholicism rejects the finished work of Christ on the cross and declares in their Catechism that one must belong to their church, receive their intercession, and follow their tradition. Every Mass, they belive they re-sacrefice the Lortd on the alter, then literally eat His flesh and drink His blood. It is a work-based system. A Catholic has no assurance of salvation. Jonathan practices occultic behavior such as praying to the dead, communing with the dead, grave-soaking, and belonging to, and practicing masonic rituals. His church deems all Christians, "Anathema".

The first thing that came to mind with the young man going back & forth between One God and many gods, was the verse from Isaiah, “I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. You are Mine”. And let me just say how much hope I have with these young people and their faith. If you have just been poking around RUclips looking at pieces of The Chosen, I pray that you would download the app and watch the series.
Testimony, living as Yeshua wants us to that is how we are to share the gospel. Submission is key coupled with humility.

You can’t say to bring Jesus to young people…. That man is not Jesus. The only way this kids will find him is in diving into the book. This show does nothing but twist or add things to the Bible to make it appeal to the world. The real truth and the real Jesus is in the book. God bless 💙

However, the show, and that whole experience with the Gen Z’ers, has opened up Jesus, and reawakened the desire to get to know Him and dive into His word, to these young people and millions of others.
